Clean well-kept theater. The customer service is fast and courteous. The seats in RPX a very comfortable and makes for a better viewing experience. Also the bathrooms are usually pretty clean. I know theyre always cooking popcorn so its somewhat fresh but it tastes like the kernels may be old. Still its one of the nicer theaters in Columbia

Staff is rude and I’m sitting in a theater for a movie that was supposed to start 8 minutes ago and all the lights are still on. The staff member didn’t fill our $8 popcorn bag up all the way and I will not be coming back here. The floors are dirty as well. Still sitting here 11 minutes later...this is sad.

Love coming here for a good date night. Lines can be long but if you get in early enough you can beat the crowd but will still stand around and wait so pick your poison. Security is great and it makes you feel safe. When you purchase tickets you pick a seat. You have to sit in the seat you pick or security will intervene and you will have to move so just sit in the seat you picked and be done with it.

It was so clean and well kept. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Seats were nice, large and clean. The floors were not sticky either.

Movie experience was great...comfortable chairs that recline, movable armrests, assigned seating so theres no need to rush once youre in the theater! One problem...the venue was not clean (I notified management about the womens bathroom ), lobby floors were very dirty... but I did not go for the lobby and bathrooms.

Watched 1917 this weekend in the RPX theater. Disappointed in the sound quality, so I wish I didnt pay the extra money for that theater screen. Last time I saw Everest in that same theater years ago and it was great.No real other complaints, save for they do seem to not have enough ticket sellers, as there are often lines outside and only one ticket booth of two open.

High prices for tickets & concessions only to sit in uncomfortable chairs. The cleanliness of the the theater & bathrooms is atrocious.

The theater is huge. Plenty of movies being shown. However, the concession area is a madhouse!! The line was almost out of the door. Seems as if they need to have more people working the concession area.

The cashiers for the snack stand we’re okay. The popcorn was cold and has several popcorn kernels I bit down on, could of broken a tooth or something. The theater was so small. The seats were so close to one another. You had no room for your feet. The chairs are from the 1990’s. The screen is pretty small. Just all around throw it all away and start over. They need to make the rows to where people actually have room to walk and to SIT during the movie so they are not cramped for two hours. The seats need to be updated to recliners. Most of the world has this I’m surprised this place is so behind with the times. Won’t come back here again.

Good atmosphere. Should be more signs for someone from out of the area it was tough to understand where to pay and line for food. Theater could have been cleaned alittle better too.

Took my son to see anime movie as always you pay for what you get, the atmosphere and the movie was great.. love the reclining seats and been able to reserve them, I dont go very often but when you go, you should go in luxury

Do not go to this place because you are taking a chance on your windows being busted out of your vehicle and anything of value stolen. My son and his family had not even got to seats and he ran back out to get something and truck window shattered and items stolen. For the money it will cost in the end your better off to drive somewhere else.

It is a really nice theater, lots of room. I felt comfortable with the security measures in place here. The only bad thing. . parking is hard to find. But the restaurants around the theater make for some good eating. So, I found my parking spot and walked around and found a great place to eat. Ill be back

Clean movie theater and I love that you can pick your seats before hand. The theater was a little small but it was good because I was able to enjoy the movie without alot of people being there. I will definitely go again since this theater is close to where I live and I love the area.

Theater itself is not bad, seats are decently comfortable. Staff is absolutely ridiculous though. Along with being slower than the sloth in Zootopia, they are beyond rude. We stepped out of the movie to get snacks and missed 25 minutes of the movie waiting in line for concessions. In addition, the manger has to unlock the alcohol fridge, which means an additional 10 minutes of waiting for the RUDE manager to come over and unlock the fridge. Will definitely be driving further away to try a different theater next time.

I lost my hat in theater 10 tonight. I am trying to call but no one picks up the phone. I visit this theater a couple times a week. Staff is very nice. IMAX and RPX are both very good. If you find my hat in theater 10 please keep it in the lost and found. Thank you.

I come often, though I just moved to Columbia, but thisntime, I brought my nephew for the Summer Regal $1 movie. I thought it was going to be an oldie like sandlot or Toy Story 1. Great movies but we wanted to see a relatively new one. We decided on Lego Movie2. Great movie and theater. It was early so no crowd. Standard seats, I guess. Im nit picky about that. Clean. Thanks

Long lines to buy tickets. No kioskAn Over Zealous Security Guard who asked to see my tickets after we showed our tickets to a young lady at the entrance. Then the security asked my Son to remove his hoodie after we exited the theater. Like leave me alone. Im a grown man with my son.

Been living in Columbia for 5 yrs now and this was the most uncomfortable experience Ive had seeing a movie! The seats sucked and they were not spacious, stadium seating like it advertises! If it wasnt for the fact that I wanted to see Aquaman so bad in IMAX 3D, I wouldve gone to my usual and closer theater instead. The movie is 143 mins long, so you NEED TO BE COMFORTABLE!! Also, Im from Brooklyn, NY and this was the most Ive ever had to pay to see a movie!! The theater is really small to be the only theater showing movies in IMAX 3D! When you buy tickets online, its supposed to be CHEAPER not MORE!! The only thing that made me feel better was my daughter and I got a few keepsakes to take home. The movie was Action Packed and so Awesome that when I see it again, Im going to my usual theater. They have reclining seats and they also serve beer & wine...limit is 3 cups (wine). Sorry Regal Cinemas Sandhills, I wont be visiting you again, unless the theater gets reclining seats!!

Too expensive. Overcharge for everything. Paid $40 at this theatre instead of $25 at Regal Columbia Cinema and that was with the free popcorn & drink with the Regal club points. Plus, if they scan your Regal card, they charge you 1,000 points. No ticket prices or policies posted inside, which is where we had to get our tickets, so you dont know the total until you have everything. The staff was slow & acted incompetent. 2 stars for cleanliness. Never again.

Went to see the joker movie. Noticed there were at least 4 to 5 armed security guards in the lobby. I felt uncomfortable with all the firepower concentrated in one space. It is not because I am uncomfortable with guns, as I have been in law enforcement and the security industry for years to include being a military contractor and second in command for a security company. It is the lack of professionalism and the inherent danger too much firepower poses in a space full of civilians. If the theater was really that concerned with safety then they would also post people in the front, parking lot and in other areas of the property. They would also conduct security checks and walk the area. Instead they just stood there intimidating theater patrons and standing in the way of getting to the auditorium. Good security is visible,yet inconspicuous. The guy dressed in full tactical gear,wearing a bandana, hat and sunglasses was the least professional of all; he had not business stopping people to check tickets an ID. That responsibility belongs to theater staff. If this is the way its gonna be, I will take my business elsewhere.

The theatre is okay, better than most around the area. The only thing I didn’t like was when the bass hit the walls would tremble. Other than that comfortable seating and great concession stand.

Tried to see a matinee for $9 per ticket. Had one person at the box office so we waited for 10 min before finding out it was sold out. They told my wife the next show was a regular was an hour later so we bought them. Turns out they were RPX tickets for 16.50 apiece. I dont see a difference between RPX and a regular theater at all. I feel like they just stole a lot of money from me.

The popcorn is overpriced and over-salted, the check-in person in the wheelchair gives outstanding service and is extremely helpful, I will continue to go because of her fantastic service and attention to detail even during your busiest periods.

They were unorganized we had one worker come out to tell us if u using military discount come inside to kiosk the line was extremely long at least 60 people got out of line to go to kiosk got inside and the other worker is telling us if u are using military discount you can only do so outside not the kiosk when we informed the worker that the previous worker just told us the opposite they said he was wrong he came inside and we said to him that he informed us to use the kiosk inside he lied and said he never said that and there were over 60 people who said that he made the same statement and they were not willing to do anything as to us losing our spot in line due to his inaccurate information and literally shrugged it off like oh well. Very unprofessional. Also majority of the time when i go they only have 1 box office and the line is wrapped around the building it would be better if they had another one to get customers out of cold and wet weather alot quicker. Even though you have the kiosk it can only be used if you have a card and u cant use your military discount on it. Its very rime consuming.

I enjoyed the theater here. I most liked the gouda bites. The theater was smaller than what I expected in the area where I was. It was a nice to get to choose my seats though.

Absolutely atrocious!!! If youve ever wondered what it was like to sit in somebody elses urine soaked seats, this is definitely the theater for you. It appears that cleaning the seats is not a top priority for this company and it shows! Not only does your skin snap back as you remove your arm from the armrest all of your senses are assaulted by a treasure trove of bodily vile and bile.if the job was to ensure my wife and I never walk into another theatre youve not only hit the mark but set it a blaze. In closing I want to thank you for forever making me second guessing myself if I ever want to return to anything other than our comfy, CLEAN couch to watch a movie. By the way,it was theatre 6 row F seats 9,10....

Went on December 24th and was disappointed in the cleanliness of the place. Lots of staff on hand and lobby area and restrooms were filthy. I know it was Xmas Eve, but still should be somewhat maintained...

Bathroom was horrible!! Wayyyy too long for commercials n movie trailers!! A 7pm movie didnt start until 7:40pm. The money u pay far exceeds the overall experience

My friends and I arrived over 30 MINUTES early to see Avengers 4. We got inside the theaters concession area. Place was packed. There were not enough registers OR staff to accommodate the number of people looking to get food and get in the theater in time for the movie to begin. There was only 2 drink machines available in the place. One of them was down. We traveled in line 20 feet in 30 plus minutes, didn’t get any food or drinks, and almost missed the beginning of the movie that we arrived EARLY to see. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE HERE AND DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS THEATER TO ANYONE ON OPENING WEEKEND OF A BLOCKBUSTER MOVIE. Great job, Sandhill Theaters...

Todays visit was very pleasant, beginning with the pleasant employees at the ticket booth and the greeter at the entrance. The bathrooms were very clean. The temperature inside the theater was not freezing cold, but very comfortable. I enjoyed the experience, and especially enjoyed the movie, OVERCOMER. Thanks Regal Sandhill for a wonderful experience.

If you want a good atmosphere to watch a movie but dont want to deal with large crowds it best to go durning the weekdays before the 7 oclock shokws whenever possible.

The staff was amazing. My only complaint was it was way too cold in the cinema. When I go back Ill definitely dress warmer. Not freezing would have gotten you a 5.

Poor service. Ridiculous to pick out seats at the box office. Service at the counter is poor. popcorn is stale. The smell as soon as you walk and in each one of the theaters is horrible Because this place is so bad My family now drive to the regal theater on the other side of town. It’s a shame this theater is in this condition.

After the movie I seen witch was jumanji the next level it was good until after ward when there was 40 people in the bathroom with 4 toilets

A. Dump.Consistently unclean. It’s run like Wal Mart; opening nights for major films and they will have a lobby crammed with people and two lines selling concessions. The only reason I come here is for IMAX and that’s grossly overrated. The night Rise of Skywalker opened they had one popcorn machine and it caught fire. Please do better.

We went to see the new Star Wars movie on opening day. It was very busy as expected but everyone was friendly.

Their popcorn machine malfunctioned moments before the star wars premier and the team couldnt have been kinder or more accommodating. They handled chaos with style and aplomb and they all deserve raises

9.21.19 Went to see Scary Movies that You Tell in the Dark with my family. Teenagers talked through the entire movie. Cursing yelling out for no reason. Im very disappointed. Wish I could get my money back. Running up and down the aisle, back and forth from the door. Parents have to be accompanied with children under 6 years...should be more like parents should accompanied teenagers that dont know how to act.

Overall, nice theater. However, why in the world are there only 3 concession lines open for the largest expected movie release of all time?? 45 minutes in line just waiting to get a drink before deciding the first 10 minutes of the movie were more important than my coke. If you are going to be this stingy with your employee costs, let us bring our own refreshments.

The food’s okay, the staff is pleasant enough, restrooms are relatively clean, seats are okay, and getting tickets online and walking in a few minutes before a showing is easily done and convenient. However, I’ve consistently found (in the past year) that the concessions tend to be severely understaffed with wait times of around 20 to 30 minutes, which makes a normally easy experience somewhat more difficult. Beyond this, the singular true issue I have with this theater is its massive lack of security. I’ve gone both on Friday and Saturday nights in the past few months and have had the misfortune of seeing screenings with very disrespectful, disruptive, and inattentive guests. These guests tend to be around high-school age children without their parents who talk loudly with each other, run around the theater, sit in seats that they’ve clearly not been assigned to, and text throughout the entirety of the movie. It’s also evident that many of these children did not buy tickets to get into the theater, since many get displaced out of their seats by customers who have actually paid for their seats. Security, which only gets involved once things have escalated to critical mass, have only marginal success in either controlling or removing these guests. A possible suggestion would be to check customer tickets before they enter the theater to ensure that people who enter are also people who have paid, and to have more stringent security present during showings. I’ve had enough frustrating experiences for me to leave an actual review. While I’ve enjoyed my experiences at this theater in the more distant past, disruptive guests like these make viewings for paying customers a complete and utter pain. I sincerely hope that my higher expectations of this theater will be met in the future.

You make more than enough money. -- I left the line after 47 minute. Only 1 third of he line served. Amazon and a large TV is cheaper than inflated tickets and poor service

I am not someone who writes negative reviews but this is so irritating I have to say something. We arrived at the movie theater long before our movie started. I waited in the line for my ticket for 25 mins. Then another 25mins in line for popcorn, which is unbelievable to me. I watched managers/assistant managers walking around looking clueless about what was going on. I witnessed people coming in 15 mins after me, receiving their food and heading to watch their movie. It behooves me that no one seemed it necessary to assist the person at the cash register with the long line in the theatre. This theater has horrible service, ridiculous prices, and is only in business because the next theatre is 25 minutes away. I know there will be nothing done and no response to my post but I had to say something.I expect more and as a customer deserve better.

I dont like being told where to sit. That jist was awful. They pack you in there like cattle. It was awful. The seats were ok the drinks were flat and the popcorn was cold and old. I wont be back.

Didnt use the entire screen for a lackluster IMax experience and for the cost of the tickets I was very unimpressed with it and the seats were horrible. At lower cost theaters with reclining seats and smaller screens would have been a better time. And also, it was like they overdid the volume to attempt at compensating for the lack of everything else. But IT Chapter 2 was everything I expected and more. #IT #StephenKing is the master

We love this theater. Great area. Nice theater with and without IMAX. Great costumer service and menu is good. It is always a treat to treat ourselves and this is one of the places we come to see our movies. The shops surrounding this theater make it an enjoyable versatile experience.

They overbooked a movie with assigned seating so someone took our seats (and multiple others were left seatless) so we had to leave in the middle of our movie. we got no refund and were really upset.

Not really a convince when the iPod that scans tickets that are bought online doesn’t scan then you have to go to a desk and wait on someone to come help you.... the tickets prices are high for the old school sitting. Just wondering why they haven’t tried to add in the recliners. Getting a drink takes about 20 minutes as well. Never complain but just wasn’t the best experience.

Went to see the US movie. It was full with suspense and scary scenes. Imy husband and I enjoyed it and was non drama environment. Lots of security and we enjoyed the movie and atmosphere.

My wife and I have been going here for 10 years, and she and her family even longer before we met. While the nostalgia renders us a little bias, we believe its a great theater with friendly staff. The wonderful young lady taking tickets is always so kind.

As long as you dont get too much food theres no need for a second mortgage on your house.

I was very disappointed in the IMAX theater. The floor was gross, covered in popcorn, and sticky. The film (Endgame) was blurry until somebody finally fixed it. The absolute worst was the oppressive heat. It had to be over 80 degrees in that theater. People were pulling on their shirts and fanning themselves with hats. It was very distracting. I usually stick to AMC theaters but I thought Id give Regal a try because it was convenient. Never again.The only reason Im giving two stars instead of one is because the young man who took care of me at the concession counter was very nice and polite.

For this theaters outrageous cost of movie tickets, I only wish they would return to having the butter at the self-serve kiosk and get those reclining chairs. Their popcorn is extremely dry and servers never add enough butter.

Pretty decent place. Service is really nice but usually a bit slow, but its really never too busy here so you dont wait too long. I do enjoy the concessions here and its always tasty, just wish the staff was a bit more alert and picked up the lobby more often. Lot of popcorn and trash laying around in between drops when its slow and no one picking it up. The theaters themselves are clean and the bathrooms too. Been a Regal customer for a long time so Ill be coming back.

Clean facility. Friendly service and now a service that that allows you to actually reserve your seat. I also recommend getting a regal card for perks. Certain Regal theaters near college towns or cities may also offer student discounts if you have your student ID on hand

The theater itself was fine. The experience with concessions is what I’m here to write about. The movie over the weekend had the largest opening weekend of any movie all time. And yet, there were only 3 lines of concessions open moving extremely slowly, one of the icee flavors went down and rather than suggest another flavor or even move the customer to the side while they waited to serve others, the employee simply stood there watching it drip drip drip into the cup, and not a single employee seemed like they wanted to be there based on the lack of speed or urgency with which they did their jobs. I stood in line for 30 minutes because I wanted to order one of the special commemorative combos that they had displayed and advertised on every...single...screen. When we got up to the front, they said they didn’t have them. So why advertise them everywhere?? There were boxes thrown everywhere behind the concessions counters, half-open and piled on top of one another. I understand that it was busy, but what bothers me is that they seemed completely unprepared for it.
