Boomtown is what they call the locals casino. Its a very relaxed atmosphere. Put it this way if your looking for loud music partying this isnt the casino for you. Its very laid back and relaxed. I love it!!

Ive always enjoyed going to boomtown. It is a pleasant atmosphere.

Food was good. The wait was awful. We went for 9 PM. Didnt get seat until 9:40 pm. They have a very inefficient way of doing things. It took two employees to bus a table. One of the managers were talking to their friends for about 10-15 instead of helping bus tables to get everyone seated. They completely ran out of plates. It is very wasteful to make guest have to get a plate one at a time of seafood. Giving you a big plate for one lobster instead of putting the lobster on the plate with snow crabs. This process alone would help decrease the amount of plates being used. All walking isles seem small and not handicapped accessible. Food was good. Dont know if I would come back.

I went there to watch the Mike Tyson fight. I was very disappointed with the asian food. I usually go to TIEN at the IP, which I highly recommend. I ordered fried rice and it looked like just plain brown colored rice. I detected no vegetables, much less meat. It tasted like old rice defrosted from months ago. Would not go again even if it was free. Wish I had thought to take a pic. Threw it in the garbage only pressing 1 star as it will not post otherwise. But Id really give it no stars.

Second visit was nervous about the slots as I knew the machines were tight but this time I actually won and was super pleased. I told alot of people about my winnings it wasnt a hand pay or anything crazy in the amount but it made my visit to biloxi worth wild definitely will be back. Hoping to have earned some free play.

It has a no smoking section that was great but we were there only an hour and didnt win.But I will go back. Popular with the locals and displays a lot of local history.

Worse experience ever. Security guards were complaining all night because my friends were drinking or smoking with out their mask. Really. When they werent drinking or smoking yes they have their mask on. We has been at the Scarlet Pearl with no problems and others casinos. Who can drink or smoke with a mask on. Hello. Thats probably why your casino has no businesses compared before the Corona Virus.

Wow what a bad and sad experience. We went on a Friday night, but you would have thought it was a Tuesday lunch with how empty the buffet was. I have included a couple pics just to show how empty the buffet was. The crabs were cold. The ribeye was over cooked. The salad bar was a disgrace. In the past they had a great dessert bar, now its just a former shell of itself. We only went because they are one of the few casino buffets to still let you get as much crab as you want, but its still not worth it. Overall the casino needs a major overall. Everything still looks like its from 1994, I think the carpet has been replaced though.

Biloxi Rv Park was so nice to stay at. It is walking distance to the casinos and right by the ocean. The park has drive throughs sites and back in sites. 30 & 50 amps sites. The RV park has asphalt roads and cement pads and green grass. It was well maintained. Lots of places to walk my dogs. You call and make your reservations and they give you a gate code to get into the park. It was quiet except for the road work that was going on in front of the park, but it wasnt that bad. I would recommend this park to friends and family members.

WOW is about all I can say! I have never seen a 30 gallon tub of lobsters before! Everybody that wanted a lobster got one (or like us... MANY!!). Between the crab legs, lobsters, prime rib and shrimp I didnt have room for anything else. If you are military or LEO there is a 20% discount. Out server Kiara was AWESOME!!! Will come again and recommend to all our LEO friends!!

I have always liked the buffet at Boomtown. Back when I was stationed at Keesler AFB I would come here for the crab legs. I recently was back in town and found out they had all you can eat lobster! For the price and quantity they were really good! I will be back next time I am in town.

I was there for 5 hours and my server or waitress name that was told me was shamiree.She never came that way and myself or the other 2 ppl didnt get anything to drinkUntil we stop a server and she served us twice...The machines were OkBut never paid out.Lost $440.

This is where allot of the locals go. While it may be older, and dated, their staff is so friendly. We actually won money here. I love roulette. They have a roulette game that sits 6 people. The lowest bets start at 50 cents. You can play for hours on a ten dollar investment. They have a great seafood buffet on the weekend that features lobster. Theres no hotel at this casino. However, we really enjoyed ourselves.

I travel there from Fl and read some of the reviews and was very skeptical about it. I will have to say I did pretty good there it was fun didnt have many machine I play like black diamonds, platinum quick hits & red alert etc. I was very surprised when I got in there it wasnt that bad. Will play again and hopefully me and slots can make the bells ring on my next visit. What is your pay out %

The machines are always having some kind of problem like buttons that dont work or card readers not working and touchscreens that are out of calibration.Trying to play and have a good time is next to impossible.Penn National has made this property the locals choice to avoid.You would have a better time at the IP or the Scarlet Pearl.

This is by far the best of the best in the Casino buffet experience. Their snow crab legs are second to none, and now they serve lobster. We felt like a king and queen eating here! We always eat too much here, but it is worth it for a once yearly food binge and splurge!

Since corona virus boomtown has really decided to try and short the customers. No active kiosk promotions. Not honoring the 10% free play after $500 loss in a day. Not honoring the peoples whos birthday were in the months they wee closed. I thought a lot more of this place until now. As if they didnt already rake in on people coming there. Well Ill go to a place that wants customers and appreciates them

WARNING .... STAY AWAY!!!!!! I Will NEVER return to this place. I’m 54 years old and have visited many, many casinos over the years. My limit for each visit is always $200. In all these years I have NEVER spent my $200 limit at a casino and not hit even a SINGLE bonus or feature in the slots I played. I played as I always do ... between minimum bet and the midway point .... nothing .... nada ..... zilch .... no bonus, NOTHING. I have never seen anything like this in all my years. TERRIBLE PLACE for anyone who wants their $200 to last at least a couple of hours and at least hit a couple of bonuses. There are way too many other casino choices on the MS Gulf Coast with much better payouts ..... STAY AWAY!!!!!

Had an excellent anniversary celebration at Boomtown with my husband this weekend. We REALLY enjoyed the buffet and had a lot of fun playing the penny slots before and after eating. Will definitely be back!

I haven’t put a review on until I emailed and had no response but me and my family was in last weekend to eat. First off I understand you have to wait to be seated but we watched a table that my complete family could have sit and it was only 5 of us that sat there for 10 minutes that it wasn’t cleaned at all and when they did go clean it they didn’t clean it all the way. I mentioned it to them and they ask could we sit separately. They could have helped clean due to employees just standing around talking. We did because we had waited so long. I understand there were a lot of people and it was busy but I also know in 2 minutes they could have finished cleaning the table and we could have sit as a family I almost offered to clean it. The food was not that great. We have always come there to eat and never had a problem. The lobster was so hard I couldn’t hardy chew it. The crab claws tasted like they were cooked in strait water. The one tending the crab claws and lobsters was rude. When you spend 180.00 you don’t want rude people. I just feel that someone should be aware of this situation. Buffet had piles of FEMALE blue crabs! Dont believe me? I included a photo of one on the plate. Wouldnt it be illegal for everyone else on the coast to be caught with female crabs and here this place has them on buffet? The BIG crab claws were awesome though. Sure seems like a place like a casino could spend some money on technology to scrub the smoke from the air better than this. The place smells like a pool hall and you must walk thru the skanky smoke area to get to the no smoking area upstairs....REALLY.

Our go to for seafood. The price is great for all you can eat. Lobster and crab legs are my favorite..The food is well seasoned unlike some buffets you have to add salt or pepper to taste. The staff are awesome too.

Boomtown Casino has a very unique, rustic appearance inside and out. The building looks like an old western facade complete with huge signage and marquee lights. Inside you will find much more then games as they have many old western displays and interesting items like antique slot machines. Game machines are a decent mix with a good amount of them being older. Great member promos for joining !!

Great staff and food court

The Buffett had a great variety of seafood. The crab legs were our favorite. Clean restaurant and pleasant staff. Good price for an all you can eat seafood buffet.

Honest price for their buffet

Stayed at RV Park at this casino - I understood the price was $24 per night - which is expensive for Casino RV Parks but we were told price could go down with players card. Nothing would be charged on our credit carD till we checked out because we could get a discounted price. Upon check out - we were told that the price is really 35 per night for 3 nights and 44 for the fourth night - no discount for staying - we spent over $1,000 in the casino!!! Spoke to a manager and a host but nothing was done! Will definitely NOT go back! Got a one star because they won’t take 0 star!

Rather shabby in general, but the slots seemingly pay better than the neighboring casinos. i didnt find anything totally objectionable, but there certainly was nothing great. for me, the boomtown in bossier city/shreveport is much nicer.

Delicious food. The seafood is cooked perfectly! My husband said the same about the steak. In my experience the gumbo wasnt good, I cant believe they cant make a delicious seafood gumbo. The wait staff were truly nice and helpful. Great for the kids too... pizza, meatballs, salad bar, desserts. I think the Hollywood in the Bay might have a bigger buffet, but I havent been there in a while. I think the restaurant should be bigger and more accommodating and center around the food, but even with that we all left fat and happy!

We didnt win there but had a good time the machines we used at least played with us for the short time we were there long drive home

Boomtown is the place to give away your hard earned dollar. I know because I give my hard earned dollar. I lost my house and my wife and kids over Boomtown, I will give them one more chance though.

Best buffet ever. All you can eat lobsters, crawfish, crabs, etc for $32.99 (with a player’s card). The food here is delicious and the service is wonderful. They even have milk with chocolate syrup to make chocolate milk. This is something you cannot find anywhere else. The only drawback is they do not have a hotel. This casino is old school.

Great place to gamble!

Ive attempted several times to resolve the issue with the GM and Manager and the issue hasnt been resolved, almost 2 weeks later. All you can eat lobster was rubbery, no mashed potatos on the buffet and the crew were breaking down the buffet almost an hour before they were scheduled to close. The dessert area had flies around it and after receiving a lemon Meringue pie from the back the consistency was chunky as if it was spoiled. I went on a Sunday my guess is they keep all the left over food and dump it on the buffet since the establishment is closed on Mondays. The manager agreed to comp our meals and offered us drinks at Fat Tuesday only to send us to a closed establishment. I would never ever eat here again!

Its small your chances of winning are pretty good. They have the tables and the slots and you can even bet on sports. For the size of this place they have everything the giant casinos have. They have a food and bars and the backery area you wouldnt believe me if I told you the size of everything. A must see

Came here for all you can eat lobster. The line to get a table was really long and slow to move and when we finally made it to our table, only 2 of us were able to get lobster before they ran out. After that it was a game of hit or miss, whether you would come back to your table with a lobster or not. It was extremely busy so I suggest you come here on a less busy day.

Nice environment. I cant seem to win on the slots but made 700 on black jack. I had a run of luck could just as easily lost 700. Overall I like boomtown for cards but not slots. I cant count how much money I lost there on slots but I dont much care for slots anyways.

Nice and big. This boomtown casino has a free parking siting in the middle of the water. This is an amazing place with a nice restaurant on the second floor, with an open buffet full of seafood and a full salad bar. First floor has all type of gaming machines. Top floor are consist of a hotel with rooms made specifical to accommodate the casio guests.

Machines are tight and the comps arent worth the money you send.
