Beautiful peaceful drive through the park. I only saw 2 trucks and they were hauling water. If the gate says closed it means its closed. I drove for a couple hours down the single track trails in a mid size truck taking pictures along the way. Took my time, a couple hours. End of the line, gate closed. Had to turn around. It was fun and I didnt mind. Let some air out of your tires. Lots of sharp rocks.
Amazing spot to camp and see the stars.
They were not open due to the fake covid-19 scare
Great place to stop before setting out in the various wildlife refuges in the area. Very informative and knowledgable volunteers.
Beautiful park! Stop in at the information center & the friendly folks can show you where you want to go depending on your needs. We just wanted a day hike and the trail they suggested was perfect!
Amazing experience working and learning at the complex. They provide valuable services for public and wildlife.
Beautiful place, must see.
Nice staff, limited maps. Go to Yuma BLM office for maps.
This is one of the most wild and scenic places Ive ever visited in Arizona. To the poster above who complained about them being closed the weekend after thanksgiving: the complex is open M-F every week (except federal holidays). The refuge is open 365 days a year.
Its all about the beautiful scenery and if you get a buck, well thats the cherry on top...
Magical place. Enjoyed camping here two weeks and exploring the area.
Love love love the Palm Canyon area.
Castle Dome Mine Museum has locked the public out of road opened since 1930.
