Good open place to take the family out for a weekend BBQ or throw an event. Good open space, got a few jungle gyms and a couple ball fields. If throwing an event or just want to relax, be sure to make a reservation for a ramada.

If youre looking for a park with mature trees, how hot does it get in Yuma? HELLO!! This is a wonderful park, no fee, to throw a party, have a picnic for two, or more! Barbecue a steak under a tall tree, SHADE! Good times, will return and will recommend!

Seems like a nice enough park. The area is a little worn down and the soft ball field was flooded. But everyone seemed to be having a good time.with there families.

This is an awesome park it doesnt get much traffic, is very clean and has facilities that accomodate softball games right next door! perfect for parties or just having a picnic.

Plenty of space for kids to run and play, lots of shade and very peaceful if you just want to sit and relax.

Huge park, very well taken care of by Yuma Parks. Lots of shade and plenty of space for any type of event, plenty of parking and very accessible for handicap. Right next to a few baseball fields. Public restrooms as well.

Large peaceful park. Went to four car show groups showing their good work and. Selling food for the homeless and homeless veterans. Lovely day.

One of my favorite Yuma Parks. Has great shade from the large Eucalyptus trees as well as nice shade structures.

Went a graduation party it was nice and clean.. there ws a nice breeze so it wasnt to hot..

Well I guess I can rate it as a 5 star it was sord of convenient o had to go pee and it was right around the corner so took advantage and took a leak there

I was at an event called Palooza at the Joe Henry Park. It was lots of fun. They had music, raffles, food and resources for mental health.

Always an enjoyable jurney to be able to have my girlfriends kids there, and a place to go and relax

Nice wide open park with lots of large tree coverage and two playgrounds for the kids. Ramadas for bbqs or parties, with piñata posts. Theres also nearby soccer fields and baseball fields as well.

This is a peaceful place calling of birds everywhere in the morning. Great for walking along side the colorado canal? Google maps says this is the colorado river and thats what i expected idk!Check it out for your selfs great place.
