ONE WORD = HOT!! Its a nice place to go if you want to there genuine desert feel but also a great place to run/bike with hard surfaces or even a dirt trail if you want a challenge. Stay hydrated and be aware of where you are at all times!

Saw two rattlesnakes near the path, but they were just relaxing in the sun. Id keep an eye out but its a great walk with a nice view!

Large diversity of wildlife, ecosystems, miles of walk paths and trails, mostly shaded. Whether riding a bicycle, walking, jogging, fishing or taking the kids for a nature hike, East Wetlands Park wont disappoint.

Really enjoyed our walk along the river and marshes. This is the only place in Yuma weve actually seen a few different types of birds.

Nice park. Boy Scouts use it for projects and the train clubs use it to run their trains. Train rides are 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month. There are diesel and steam engines and people that understand their operation.

Dont bother going to East Yuma Wetlands. Poorly maintained, if at all. Restrooms were beyond filthy, trails had huge gullies and didnt feel very safe either
