Small park in a country setting. We originally planned to stay for a month but realized after a week that it wasnt a good fit. Neighbor across the street was extremely inhospitable and had a very annoying Halloween Cat decoration that meowed every time someone walked or drove by. There were also several wild roosters which crowed all night. There were a lot of seasonal folks, some friendly and some who didnt seem to appreciate our presence. The laundry room was not appropriate for the size of the park and the swimming pool was not heated (55 degrees!). With a little TLC and updating this pool could be transformed into a lovely gathering spot. The grounds and clubhouse also need some attention but the numerous citrus trees in the park bear delicious fruit. The manager and owner were super friendly and Bob (owner) was very gracious when we decided to leave earlier than expected and gave us a generous refund. Although it didnt work out for us, Im sure it would be a great spot for some.
Great little place to stop at. It’s the people that make this place special. The facilities not so much but we have our own facilities within our rv so don’t use them anyhow. Beautiful citrus trees line the park which you will enjoy eating. Very affordable and well located.
We have been here since January 23. Enjoying our stay. Nice 55+ park with clean bath/showers, gathering room with planned activities, small library, mail room, laundry room with very reasonable price to use them. I recommend it.
Friendly. Grassy lots with citrus trees. Pool is usually too cold and is small. Rear of park more modern than front but owner is always improving things. Biggest bummer is they are typically all leased out for the year. The park looks like it has room but it doesnt.
Wonderful gem in the middle of the city! Most of the units are winter residents but they also have prime open spots for travelers like us. They have a great clubhouse with daily activities if you choose to join in. This is about the friendliest campground weve encountered over our 50,000 miles of travel. We will definitely stop here again!!!
We arrived at 4:50 pm on a Monday. I just stopped onto the office porch, area when I heard voices from afar. (On my smart phone, it showed that the office closes at 5pm. Perhaps those are summer hours.) After hearing an expletive, Ruth came over to inquire. Apparently we arrived after hours, and she was mad. I tried my best to lighten things up. We paid our money the next morning. I have never heard so many cars, or trucks needing a muffler, so traffic noise was loud, all night long. In hindsight, we should have left because Ruth was rude, and could have done so much better to be welcoming. If instructions for after hour registration was provided, we would have followed those rules, and taken care of it on our own.
Lots of fresh citrus available on site. Frendly people.
Im going to tell you the moment my wife and I met Ruthie the manager we love her. This is my new getaway. The park has fruit trees almost in every spaces. Forget the foothillsand all the wind.
What an amazing job Ruth does.Going out of her way to acomodate us for a week....Very homely park quiet and neatly crept..love the chickens run around and pool area reminds me of a little tropical place..just needs a tiky bar......
The place is beatiful. Drove through and went to the front office. Ruthie runs the place and my wife and I met her like a long lost friend. Will be staying there next year.
Quiet park. Well maintained and clean. Good place for winter visitors
Love spending the Winters in this exceptionally friendly park. The owner and manager interact with the guests, so they know and understand any needs or wants we have, and do everything they can to keep the family here happy. Lots of group activities, and there are always block parties going on for anyone that wants to participate. We love the people, the weather, and the location. Its close to old town and all the places we like to visit and shop. Highly recommended. Not big and Glitzy, just a nice homey feeling park.
Quite rude....saw our Lab puppy and said..we only allow small dogs ..but thats okay ..found a better park that had many large dogs
Lady that answered the phone was really rude! Glad we found another more accommodating park down the road.
A wonderful place to spend the winter. Owners and manager make you feel at home. Very friendly guests. We like the location too!
Stayed here for a week in March/2018 - pool was not working but we were not told when we booked. Nice enough park, tho it is in a shady part of town, and the price was ten dollars more than a park 5 blocks away, which DID have a nice, working pool and cleaner facilities
Great place. Always stop on our way through. Lot to do. People friendly.
Really, dog limit by breed and weight. Shame. Judge the deed NOT the breed. The response from the owner who owns a little foo-foo dog is ridiculous. Our sweet dog wouldnt harm anyone or anything - and yes, our beautiful dog weighs 50 pounds.
Good price, nice lady.
Very friendly and accommodating
Do not attempt to bring a dog here. RV road trip navigator states that the site is pet friendly, but the woman at the office turned us away saying that no dog over 20lbs is allowed.
Ruth was wonderful.
