A wonderful experience for my three year old! We drove from 1.5 hours away and on our way to Lancaster this was a great pit stop! Kept my energetic toddler entertained for 1.5 hours! ( Did not see any bathrooms)

I absolutely love this park! I live 1.5 hours away but this is my 18 month olds favorite one! Theres so much cool stuff for him to play on that Ive never seen before at other parks. And the concession stands open now! Please dont litter!! Keep our parks clean!

This park was renovated. The new playground equipment is nice, but its mostly plastic and gets very hot to the touch when the temps are high. We went on a cooler day this last time and it was great.

Modern and accessible. Safe as its next to a police station. Plenty of seating and space. The kids will enjoy their visit

Clean, well kept, pleasant place to visit. Picnic tables and grills are available. Today the concession stand was open. The ice cream was excellent and the service was friendly.

Basketball courts, hockey rink, tennis courts, walking/ biking paths, fenced in playground, benches, picnic tables, a concession stand, restrooms and amphitheater... this is a list of just some of the perks of this park. Its okay... you can say it, I know I did... WOW! I could not have guessed that there would be such a nice park so close to the hustle and bustle of York.

Love this park always a friend to be made and never tire of the options of play.

This is one of nicest parks in York County and its very safe for kids of all ages, all of the play equipment has a spongy rubber mat underneath it. There are volleyball courts, tennis courts and basketball courts, pavilions, family friendly events throughout the year and lots of open grass and trees. Its beautiful!

This is a good place to bring your family for a cookout, maybe some volleyball, basketball, and a park. This place is nice on a sunny day and quiet if you walk away from the park a little. Perfect place for picnics, too. Most days the basketball court is filled up though so make sure to come early. 4 out of 5 for me.

Decent park but most equipment was in the sun. Park was in good shape would have been nice though to have more room

My kids absolutely love this place. I however am and always will be a fan of the old Wooden Park. I just have way too many memories there. But its gone and Im glad that in its place, they put such a fun playground. That my kids now can make their own memories at. Plus I can still run around and play on it with them also.

Its not wooden anymore, it doesnt have the parent are where they can sit and watch their kids anymore. Its all plastic and I feel like they should have just kept up with their wooden design, took my neice there and the plastic burned her.

Much better now that it is redone! Kid friendly play surfaces and something for everyone. Also, ADA compliant. There is a big kids section and even one for the tykes.

Was here for the Friday food trucks over the summer. The concession stand at the park is also open several days during the week and on weekends. Inexpensive way to get lunch.

Being able to take a preteen and teen to the park and they actually have fun is impressive. I just wish there was somewhere in the park we could have went to get something to drink.

This playground is amazing. Great way for the young ones to get exercise and burn off energy. There is alot of parking, bathrooms, fields, tracks for running and walking

Always super nice at Springettsbury. The basketball courts are the absolute best. You pay a quarter for the lights at night, and its so nice. They have a great skate hockey arena. The playground is nice. It has these small zip lines that we all play with. You cant not smile while on a zip line. The park has an amphitheater, and a bunch of picnic tables, and pavilion areas. It has baseball fields, and just places to lay a blanket down and watch the clouds /stars. Its clean, and the other park guests are polite as well. Sometimes they have little events for kids on Saturdays when the weather is nice. They have concerts and things going on to check out on their online schedule too. I definitely recommend

We had a great time at the new Castle Park. We just wish it had more shaded areas for parents of older children.

A great place to walk, eat a picnic lunch, or sit and read a book! Convenient to shopping areas AND restaurants in the East York area. One of my favorite places to visit during a nice, warm, sunny day.

Red ants on picnic tables. Maybe you could spray from time to time, due to the food in the pavilions but otherwise a nice experience.

Playground is great! It has so much more space if you have to bring a stroller that you wont have to struggle going around anymore. It has many new features that other parks dont have. My kids loved it!

Springettysbury Day in the Park was a lot of fun for the kids! Games, bounce houses, balloon animals and of course food! Shows and sport events along with the fire department through out the day. Weather was great!

Great park that was recently rebuilt. Has a big kid section and a little kid section with lots of things to climb and play on.

My daughter absolutely loves it here. Its a very large park with lots of litle nooks to hide in so keep a watchful eye on your kiddos everyone. Also its right beside a police station so its pretty safe. Texas Roadhouse is right across the street for afterwards.

All of the equipment I have seen seems to be in good order and maintained well. Lots of activities for kids of all ages, fair amount of parking, easy to get back on to the main road (traffic light at the entrance/exit). Its harder to feel safer than right next to the police station for the area. My daughter loved it all of the times we have gone.

Very nice clean park with lots of things to do, basket ball, valley ball, walking trails, etc. Even have lights to use for some of the courts for when its getting dark (require quarters to turn them on). Easy to get into and out of and there are a multitude of events hosted over the summer months. Always enjoy going here.

Something for all ages! Nice equipment/upgrade in the last few years. Feels much more safe from the previous wooden castle with fence enclosure.

We live near this park it’s very nice makes me feel safe the play area is right at the police station! We love the skating rink and the play equipment is unique there is also a free library on play equipment grounds! One of our favorite parks ️

Not the same as when I came as a kid but the new playground is neat. You can see your kids no matter where you are sitting around the playground. Walking trails are well maintained. Well done

Beautiful park for young and old. The playground is renovated and has some fun additions to the usual expected apparatus. There is a baseball, football field, roller blade hockey rink, basketball, tennis and volleyball court. Pavilions were in use for birthdays. Theres a big amphitheater for concerts.

This park has lots of open fields and easy access to restrooms and pavilions. It is located next to the police station. Has a nice large playground set area for the younger children and plenty of places for playing ball with the older ones.

My kids really loved it

This is a great park to bring the family to. The playground was recently remodeled from the old wooden park, which was still pretty awesome. The township always has events planned, like music in the amplitheatere on the weekends, food trucks on Fridays and fireworks twice a year. You can always go to the township website for a list of events. If you enjoy sports they have multiple basketball, volleyball and tennis courts. In the summer, they have a street hockey arena, which then turns to ice hockey in the winter. Pet friendly with clean up stations, bathrooms that are well taken care of and many pavilions to rent or a first come availability. Residents and non-residents enjoy this park all year long. It is definitely worth checking out the park and all it has to offer!

So much to do here! A great park with something for everyone. A group of us works out there periodically and love the options it offers.

Very nice new update. My daughter loves George of the jungle park. If you do go here. The nice thing is the police station is on the same property so it feels safer then most parks. Nice and spacious and lots of trails. Top 2 park in my book.

Place is secure and well kept. a good time for the kids. People are pretty respectful and a plus is its beside the police station which makes us feel better about the location. Really a nice park.

Very nice park. I just wish there were lap signs that told you how many laps make a mile around the walking spaces.

Great place but a few improvements. ALL small children slides need overhead cover or shade during high noon times. Slides are extremely HOT and could cause 1st and/or 2nd degree burns on children. Any surface with the dark green plastic absorbs the sunlight and is very hot to the touch!

Its a really cool and well kept park. Definitely worth a vist! I just wish there was a little bit more shade over the playground. some of the equipment can get quite hot out in the sun.

Lots of fun with my grandson ever since they updated the playground area. Perfect for kids of all ages.

Love the playground here. That zip line has filled my family with many laughs. The courts are clean, well lit, and welcoming. The amphitheater is nice even when noone is playing. The kids perform themselves. :) The roller hockey rink is such a bonus. Never seen people playing until we moved here. It seems nostalgic. Always clean, always was safe for us. Weve even went late night on weekends. A+ park

This is an amazing park that has everything - volleyball courts, basketball courts, street hockey court, baseball fields, football fields, tennis courts, walking/running paths amphitheatre, an awesome kids playground that my kiddos love. Added bonus - it is right next to the police station so it feels safe!

Used to be the best park in York County. Then they put in a cheap plastic and metal playground that looks tacky. Its just generic and not anywhere near as fun or imaginative as the old wooden castle. The castle playground stood for my whole childhood through my adult life and my kids got to play on it for a bit before they ripped it out for no reason other than they didnt want to maintain it. We stopped going to this park all together save for 4th of July fireworks and have since moved to Cousler Park which is a way nicer playground in root of what this park used to be.
