Schellin Park

This park has nice equipment however it is in close proximity to the train tracks meaning you will get to experience loud train horns when they pass by. The grounds are in need of some maintenance with several low spots that collect water. There was an unpleasant odor when we visited and I am not sure of its origin. The park is very large and has restrooms that appear to be open during summer months but are closed in the winter. Overall its a decent park that needs some TLC to get the grounds back to ideal condition

5 basketball hoops on one court. Was a neat little place. Had a event there. That was nice, thanks to the good people who try to make Wooster nice.

From out of town looking for a place to eat our lunch since fast food restaurant dine-in is hard to find right now. The park was kind of overgrown in some areas, not very inviting. The playground looks nice if you have small children, and the picnic shelters were adequate. The park just needs some TLC.

Took my pupper to the dog park, love how big the space is, with trees and a large open field to run around.

Today was kinda scary. Puppy and I are at the dog park and we heard a cracking and then a huge branch fell to the ground!! Im so thankful puppy wasnt near it at the time!!!

Great not a lot of people there good time for a walk with the family or dogOr just sit and relax get some fresh air

This place is awesome for children, I loved going here with my family! Need a place to go were your children can burn some energy? This is the place for you!

Unfortunately only one dog park there. Needs to be separated into large and small because Annas dog ( Mr. Muttley)got bitten up by a pitbull bit thru leg,ear and neck (12lbs).

Kids and I always enjoyed going down to Schellin park walking around and watching the ducks on the pond.

This park is in a bad part of town. Drug deals go on around here. Yes it looks nice and all, but thats just a shell. The equipment is full of graffiti, and sometimes you can find condom wrappers. Dont bring you kids here at all, for their own safety.

The skatepark was really fun everyone was so nice and I would definitely recommend going there

Its a nice park but around the pond it needs more benches in the shade.

Dont use the bathrooms. They feel like someone died in them. Great place for conjuring the souls of the dammed though if youre into all that lol but the park itself is awesome.

The park need an over haul fixed up and cleaned up some help make a nicer park need volunteers to help form some churchs in Wooster, factory fundraiser to upgrade the park

Lake could use a cleaning and the bathrooms need revamped. Swings. Dig park. Nice place to stop at on our way through.

The parks local & convenient to our house. Our family uses the facility for gatherings on weekends. At times weve had to clean up around our area before using the tables... But then thats most parks here in Wooster.

I want to start off by saying I love this park. Its close to home, I utilize the dog park nearly every day and Ive met a lot of wonderful people and dogs! The city is generally pretty good about getting down there to replace bags for the pups and fix any spots in the fence when ever someone calls. Remember city parks arent a necessity they are a privilege. If you enjoy going to your local park the least you can do is minimize the trash and always clean up after yourself. Thanks Wooster for keeping this park beautiful!

Skate park needs to be updated. But it is a good place to fish.

They got great pavilions new 0kay house for the lil ones with an open view all round but the best feature is the doggie play park

Has been updated and improved since childhood days. Newer toy playground, big dog area, still have ducks at the pond. There are restrooms but are closed for the season right now.

My 7yr old still calls it the alligator park because of the alligator slide... Its a nice quiet park off the beaten path.. Needs a little TLC, but it may be because its still spring and they havent scheduled a cleanup

The skate park looks cool and maintained. The playground needs some care, but most of the equipment looks safe to play on. Theres a dog park here, but I dont have a dog.

2 Pokemon Go gyms, a duck pond, a baseball field, a dog park, and a playground. What more do you people want in a park.

Nice tiny pond, slate board park, and dog run, but I dont have a dog or a skate board. No hiking trails.

Nice for family

There is a bike ramp and slate board ramp, a pond for children and older people. The pond has ducks and there is a dog park, and play ground with restrooms, as well as a little league baseball field.

Sketchy sketchy. Stayed 10 minutes. Left. Riffraff drove us away. Wont be back. Bad part of town too.

Pond was filthy and cover in algae, disappointed because the pond has great fishing! In my opinion the best fishing in the city of Wooster city limits! Awesome place to teach kids to fish. Playground equipment is pretty nice and clean, upkeep of the grass and weeds was pretty rough when we were there. Its usually a fun stop with the kids to burn off excess energy! The neighborhood can be rough depending on day or time. Would suggest going with a friend if you are an even remotely attractive female. Lol! Seriously though, take a friend and keep an eye on the kids a little bit more than usual!
