Nice place to walk, wide variety of plants, well maintained.

Love the fact that this is a research facility. The tour was very informative as well as beautiful. I was with a group of 17 from a garden club who had called in advance to make arrangements for the tour. Because there were some who had difficulty walking, golf carts and a knowledgeable staff guide were provided for our visit.

Spent an hour walking around the gardens. Wish the plant tags were more prevalent. Trying to get ideas for pollinator garden. Want to go back during different seasons

Nice place to walk at your own pace. Very well kept, and most plants are labeled. Only bad thing, no smoking on the premises. I could have walked for hours if not for that. lol

Very large and beautiful. Lots of walking, with hills, but paved paths. Signs describing the types of plants. Trees and flowers. Also has a large kids slide and an amphitheater. My brother in law got married in the amphitheatre and it was very lovely.

Lots of beautiful plants, trees, and flowers. Paved path. Little hills up and down but not much changed in elevation. Great to take a break and go for a nice walk. Parking lots in various spots and an education center too.

One of my favorite places for a family picnic or simply some time alone. It is full of nature and it’s mostly peaceful; except for the sound of some loud vehicles on the highway. If you’re looking for a place to get some fresh air or go to admire the beauty of nature, this is a good place to visit.

Loved it here!! Had a great time exploring and playing on the rocks and slide! Its a 45 min drive from us, but so worth it! We want to go again in the fall!

I think it is a good alternative to Holden Arboretum in Cleveland for the little ones. It is a good stop on the way from Akron or Canton to the Amish Country. Go to their website to check out special events.

A wonderful working and teaching arboretum. On 9-14-2010 a tornado tore through the gardens, since then theyve created new gardens and exhibits. Love Se recrest!

A nice quiet place with a bunch of little gardens all over. Mostly native varieties. Well worth the stop.

If you have children bring a stroller! I had never been there and my child loves to walk but this place is huge! We saw so much and I think we only saw a small section. Very neat play areas with a slide and lots and lots of nature. Beautiful areas to just sit and relax. Cant wait to visit again!

Beautifully maintained with a broad collection of identified plants and trees, Secrest is a lovely place to walk for all ages, anytime of year.

Had an wonderful time at seacrest arboretum. They had an insect night there. Great for kids and kids at heart. Got to race hissing cockroaches, hold millpedes, and pet transulas. There were guided night walks about moths and and lightening bugs. Very good information about pollinators and even gave us plants to plant to encourage them.

This place is an absolutely beautiful place to walk or have a picnic! There are tables and benches nestled in nooks and crannies all over the gardens! I cant wait until they open the visitors center with museum and hands on experience experience! They will also be offering gardening classes for the community!

The secrets arboretum is beautiful. So many different species of plants that are native and imported. Everything is labeled nicely so its easy to learn about the plant in question.

Lots of plants and educational signs. We came in October, so we did not expect much to be in bloom, but it was still beautiful to walk around. There seemed to be someone giving a tour also
