This is a lovely trail with various natural areas and habitats - woods, pond and open field. A paved trail goes throughout the preserve for easy walking or riding in a wheelchair. There are also several other primitive trails. Its also a fairly quiet path, with limited people (until more positive reviews are posted and more people discover this gem! ).

This is small to medium sized nature preserve, with a paved, ADA compliant walking trail. The trail is half wooded, with many hickory and oak species, among others, and half meadow. Wild flowers are abundant throughout spring, summer and fall, and attract a wide variety of moths and butterflies. A small shallow pond, with wooden deck overlook, is home a several species of frogs, turtles and snakes.

Okay, this year was the first time we attended the Halloween event, and we were impressed!! We loved how enthusiastic the pirate volunteers/workers were. The decorating and knocking on the doors was a cute touch, and I could tell it made the kids very happy. My son had a blast walking around and seeing the different doors. But our absolute favorite parts of the trail were the nature stops! I love that they incorporated nature and education. Great event, very organized and will continue to support it!

Tbis is a great place to walk it has lots of plants and trees and the walking path is paved so I would suggest tennis shoes. This is a great place to take a walk any season. They have pavilions so you can take a break and eat lunch in the covered pavilion. This is also a nice place to take the family for a walk. Dogs are permitted they just ask that you clean up after it. It is free to come walk here. There is a wetland pond with a deck looking over the wetland pond. There are also benches to take a rest along your walk.

Review №29

This is one of Wooster’s best paved walking areas, highly accessible and the path is kept clear through out the Year. For those with wheels, this place is fantastic. Can get wet/icy at some points depending on weather. Rarely more than 3 other people there. I love to take my dog there and longboard around it a few times, my dog loves it. Beautiful and serene, a mowed/off-trail path as well. A+!

Lovely nature area with a short & long loop paved path that is wheelchair accessible. I noticed they now have a little wood train now, as well. Portapotty by the parking lot. Limited parking, but never usually a problem finding a spot. The location is a little remote, so its wise to take a buddy.
