Christmas Run Park

Great for little kids .. but We didnt find a walking path or trail. No signs.. Might give it another try.

A great park with a little something for everyone. The playground area has your normal playground accessories plus musical instruments, hidden objects, different slides, a tree house, and more. Then across the parking lot are basketball courts. There are hiking trails and a trail that leads to the pool. Then across the street is a little creek you can play in. Also, the ice cream truck always visits.

I brought my grandkids here to play on Tuesday November 10, 2020 and there we 5 older boys there. They were setting on top of the roof over the play area. I think there should be an age limit!!! They were around 15-16 years old!

Love this place!!! So much for the kids to do.. The bathrooms could be attended to more often.

We love this park! I like how it is tucked in and surrounded by wooded areas but is still safe. The play area has the best equipment and kids of all ages can spend hours playing. There is also a neat scavenger hunt of animals and fossils that my kiddo loves.

Just had a nice quiet take-out dinner in the pavilion with the gentle water sounds behind us.

Good park grate for younger kids just needs t9 be cleaned more often

Great place to have a picnic or relax and chill out. Had a maintained grill and trash can. Very little road noise and traffic going by.

This is a great park for friends and family to come hang out! 5/5

I grew up playing at Christmas Run and was sad when it was torn down and rebuilt. I was actually amazed by how cute and inviting the new park is to kids. My four children love it just as much as I do.

Great park.. My son and daughter always loved playing here. The creek was always the best tile for them.. Making dams and stomping through the water is always a blast.

Very nice park. Clean and updated. Plant off activities for children and much shade if needed! You feel safe in this park as well. Wooster did a good job with this park.

I expected like some lights or a sleigh or something. They did have a very nice place to run so I’ll give them that.

Its a breath of fresh air

We found Christmas Run recently and my 3 children love wading in the creek and the playground is amazing. Looking for fun? This is a great piece of heaven in the backyard.

Wow! Christmas Run recently added a new playground that is really cool! Its is built to look like a nature scape with giant log slides, climbing rocks, ropes ladders, and little animal sculptures hiding among the activities. Its really neat looking, and very fun to play on. We took our two year old, and although some things were out of her age range (she fell on the ropes), she still had a lot of run. There is also another play ground up the hill at the park that is more geared toward younger children.Besides the playgrounds at Christmas Run, there are plenty more adult-friendly activities, like a basketball court, tennis court, and picnic pavilions.

Could use a clean up but always a great park

Really nice equipment, very limited activities. The spinning seat thing is to difficult to push, like it was purposefully restricted from spinning. The old park that was replaced was much more engaging.

This is a nice place for a family picnic and a great place for the kiddos to play afterwards.

Although it was completely different from when I went to it as a kid I am glad that it is still a very fun place

Perfect place to meet with a bunch of cousins for lunch. The age range was wide but the playground can accommodate both the very small and the older with basketball and the creek.

Its a fine park for quick stop to run some energy off the little people, a far cry from the days of old when the park was truly alive with family reunions all time. But still a respectable park.

Very nice, clean and beautiful. Ive been going to this park since I was a kid, and it only gets better with time.

Its great for pokestops. 4 of them and a gym that is a dx raid gym. Also its great for kids mostly on the bigger side. I have a 2 and 4 year old is say the 4 year old is but enough for most of it but the 2 year old is big enough for just a few things. They have tables and basketball nets also.

A very nice, clean, typical American public pool. Crowded early afternoon... slows down around 3-4

A nice clean park in downtown Wooster. Lots of fun things for kids ages about 3 to 13 I would say. There are also a couple picnic pavilions, benches, and 3 bathrooms. Make sure to bring your own soap however.

Christmas Run Park is one of Woosters oldest public parks. It is named for Christmas Run, a stream that passes through it. It is a well appointed park, which includes a modern playground, restrooms, two basketball courts, tennis courts and many picnic pavilions. Not to mention, the shallow Christmas Run stream bed, where youngsters can search for crawdads! Its a wonderful place.

Great sledding hills!! My family had a blast this winter. Lots to do and see here. Love the playground areas. The stream and covered bridge add great charm to the place.

I have always loved this park! Outdoor wheelchair accessible bathrooms and nice pavilions you can rent for parties! The pavilion we were at had a refrigerator inside too! Very convenient!There are also plenty of benches and picnic tables by the playground area.

We love this park! The new playground is adaptive for kids with disabilities but is definitely still fun for kids of all abilities. Theres lots of great stuff to climb on for kids which is great! Its surroundings are beautiful too!

9 out of 10 times there are other kids here regardless of the time of day. The stream is my boys favorite part and having on site bathrooms is such a great feafure.

Had great meeting with Coices

Love this park. It is close by and it does not seem to attract the same crowd as some of the other ones. Have had issues with the type of people at other places around wooster. Like smoking and cursing around small children. Not to mention homeless people hanging around watching kids play. Havent ran in to this here. Plus the renovations done recently are great!

Wonderful playground - newly renovated - just be sure to watch the little ones because there are some places where they can fall (ours have). Well worth an outing; weve enjoyed birthday parties and picnics there.

We have a family get-together here every year. There are kids of all ages. There is so much to do and they never get bored.
