We were at the lodge/hall & it was beautiful! Large applianced lichen, gorgeous stone fireplace, plenty of space for a couple hundred people, but because of covid, we were limited to 80 people. I highly recommend this rental to everyone!

Always a pleasure.. We eat lunch or dinner in the park. Theres a nice little pond where I enjoy watching people fish or catch frogs in.

We were here for a picnic at the pavilion which was very nice. It was shaded as well. Bathroom faculties are availble. There are many activities available to try here. Among these are the pool the disc golf course. Also available are a basketball court, beach volleyball, and a childrens plauground. There is a nice pond available to fish in also . A good experience all around

The life guards are always very pleasant and they are doing their best to use precaution during covid.

Renovations have been made and the kitchen area is larger and much more accessible. The venue has a warm and cozy feeling and is very inviting. Its a wonderful place to have an event!

Great frisbee golf course (minus all the poison ivy along the paths, did get a tick there too). Cute little pond with lots of frogs and one big carp. Best of all, toadstools!

Great facility! Plenty of very cool fun things to do in the pool like a water slide, rock climbing wall out of the water, and 2 different size diving boards. My issue I have with this and the Christmas run pool are they ONLY accept cash or check, and do NOT have this posted on there websites or a ATM on site to retrieve cash. That would be extremely helpful to know especially out of town people such as ourselves.

Many great places here within the park for recreation and relaxation, trails, lake, pavilions, basketball court, baseball diamond, and of course the pool.

Its very nice and it has a little park for younger ones, a baseball field, a duck pond, and a bit more privacy in the back with some restrooms. the only downside I see personally which stops me from giving a perfect review is the cars on the highway next to the park at least when youre in the back of the park kind of kill the mood.

Beautiful and usually calm. The very back walking areas can get a little messy but other than that its fairly nice. Its a good place in a larger town to enjoy nature.

Came here to play disc golf. I would say its generally a short/midrange course with a couple 300+ holes. Lots of trees, and wild rose bushes in the rough Fairly rough, mulched style tee off pads. Not a good place to play after rain. Here on Sunday afternoon, no one else playing the whole time. Very quiet. Quite a few markers at the tee pads were missing, but there are signs on top of the baskets pointing to the next tee. Pretty easy to follow through all 18 holes for the first time. The park is a little run down, but generally decent overall.Update: cam here to play disc golf again in mid August. I will never be coming here for disc golf again in the summer. VERY overgrown and neglected course. Quite difficult to manage, had to hunt for discs several times. Although not a bad course in winter when there is no vegetation.

This is a nice little park with a small pond and gazebo that reaches out onto the pond. You can see a fair amount of small wildlife, go for a swim, play Frisbee golf, or just walk around and enjoy the nature. You dont feel close to town at all while here.

A most beautiful Park!Was there at the outside pool for a large swim meet event. As a spectator, it was pretty awesome. Bleechers and grassy hillsides to set up tent covers or just setup a chair. The pool is beautiful and nicely maintained. Will need to go back to explore all the park has to offer. And, the bathrooms are very very nice!

A beautiful park. However, I went to play disc golf here with my wife and could not get past the second hole. There are no trails from tee to basket. I feel like if I want to play here I need to come cut the trails myself.

Nice trails. Can confirm swings are good. Ive never used the pool but it looks fun. Good chill place.

I went and played on the disc golf course, great course, but no map. They have an outdoor pool, playgrounds and a small multi purpose room

Beautiful public park where many events are held. There is a beautiful lake with a gazebo out on the water. Three wonderful ballfields. Lots of room to move around and a really nice public pool. Its such a nice park you almost forget youre in the city of Wooster.

There is always plenty for the kids to do. The staff is friendly. We can easily spend the entire day here.

It always feels good coming to this park I grew up in this town of Wooster the park is a fabulous place to take your family.

Clean and quiet. The trail around the small pond was nice as well. Not a whole lot on the front of playground fun for the kids but my daughters both enjoyed it for a little.

Nice place to walk and relax. You can sit around by the small lake, fishing or walking. There are barbecue stands, need to bring charcoal, not electric. Another walkway leading to the nearby wooded are, and nice and inviting.

Awesome place! I disc golf here quite a bit with the boys. The course isn’t totally kept up but they just recently repaved some of the roads in the park. Nice place has a sand volleyball court and room for spikeball and such. Has numerous pavilions and picnic tables spread throughout

We had our family reunion at the Dave Hauser Pavilion on Sun. The area around the pavilion was clean and the restrooms were the cleanest they have ever been. We really like the new walkway down to the pavilion and the other updates to the parking area. Our only issue was the grills could use some new grates or total replacement as they are falling apart. All in all, a great place for a family get-together.

I would have thought that since we rented a pavilion it would be cleaned up. We had to empty the trash, sweep the floor and rake up trash laying around. There was even a bunch of ear plugs laying all over.

Good facilities. A bit crowded at the play ground equipment at times... But its a public place... You should probably expect other people to be there when you are there. Its just some of those people are gross at times. I wish people knew how to choose and wear appropriate clothing.

Beautiful no matter what season. Great for walking, familes and in general.

Nice park. Something for everybody to do in the summer from fishing to swimming. They have a very nice playground for the little ones and a wonderful pool.

Very pleasant park, except restrooms were not convenient to our picnic shelter, and one restroom had no doors on the stalls.

Nice play ground area. There is a pool that is open in summer. There is a fishing pond and some hiking trails. Nice out door eating areas. There is even a disc golf course.

I played the disc golf course on July 15th. Having a disc golf course is a gun amenity, but it hasnt been maintained in awhile and the course is covered with poison ivy.On a hot, sunny summer afternoon the pool was closed. Why?

Free WiFi available. A large playground for children. They have walking trails, and disc golf. There is a large community pool. They have a nice pond to walk around, and do allow catch and release to teach small children to fish. Very close to Burbank rd, which has a lot of shopping, places to eat, and a movie theater.

Great pond and gazebo. Beautiful walking paths through the woods and around the pond. Pond is usually really good for fishing with the kids, have caught small mouth bass, catfish, bluegills, sunfish, one huge carp, one trout and one salmon and the occasional snapping turtle! Awesome Frisbee Golf course, just beware the holes by the pond! Many a frisbee have ended up RIP at the bottom of the pond. Great playground and super awesome outdoor seasonal public pool! Pool has great kiddies pool with a frog water slide! Always a favorite of my younger kids. Older more independent swimmers can take a dive off the diving boards and try their climbing skills out on the in water climbing rock wall! Concession stand prices are pretty high in my opinion, suggest packing your own snacks and drinks.

Stopped by to play disc golf here on my way from Mohican to Akron. This is a really beautiful park and it has a little bit of everything

Freedlander is decent public park. It has a well stocked pond for fishing, frisbee golf course, and several gathering g areas with tables and shelters. It is clear the park is under funded. Maintenance is spotty and the trails/shelters need work. It is reasonably safe and well used by the public.

Go every day for the Poke Stops

Its a beautiful park, nice to take a walk in and see lots of different birds.

Plenty of outdoor recreation offerings here. Disc golf course is great, although a bit over grown at times. Baseball, basketball, fishing, swimming, and much more here are great!

The park has many things to do, the pool is joyful, your children will have a great time!

Great space for family time. Well kept lawn with regularly inspected playground equipment for kid safety. Pool and swimming lessons available. A lot of available parking. The park could use more picnic tables spread out as most are clustered under pavilions. Bathrooms outside pool area were not well kept and did not have running water. Pond could use water treatment and regular care.

I went to the pool and the lifeguard said that they were on weather delay until 5:50 and the pool closed at 6:00. Very disappointing but trust me when I say this... I will be back
