I love this playground because it is less dangerous for toddlers who are still learning not to walk off a ledge. Also it is surrounded with lakes to walk around and a couple fields for soccer. I like that its made out of wood instead of the plastic that gets hot. Overall prob one of the best playgrounds in the area.

We were in town getting some medical testing done . And had a break so google and found this which was perfect close to were we had to be for the testing and made a little girl so happy

Great place for little ones to climb and swing and slide and explore. Our kids loved it when they were little and now their little ones love it.

Set in the middle of the Winter Park shopping district minutes from Publix and theaters Im downtown Winter Park is a great place to take the kids while youre waiting to pass a little time or if you want to work out its got some great outdoor sidewalks and workout stations beautiful outdoor areas with covered picnic tables and adorable play area for little ones made from natural wood I did not see a sign restricting dogs and I did take my dogs in I think its a at your discretion thing

Not a bad park. Would give more stars if it was more slides and other play set pieces to keep all the kids busy. More than enough space to add more sets and run around.

My grandchildren love the slides and swings here! Its shady and has lots of parking too.

I grew up with playgrounds like this so to see a playground still standing with modern mommy and me swings, plus swings for handicapped kids is awesome!Great park, big too!

This playground is very unique with the shape of the actual area. Its shaded and has plenty of grassy areas to run around.

Cute, safe, shady wood playground with lots of room to play and clean bathrooms.

This is by far one of the best playgrounds in the area, the kids play area is large and theres a path that you can walk around the pond right behind it. The bathrooms arent cleaned as frequently for the use they get so I recommend using the bathroom before arrival, they can be a bit gross at times. Great place to host Birthday parties

The wooden castle is the cutest thing and the outdoor workout center is great!

I love this playground. I have an only child and just about every time we go, my son makes a new playground friend as all the children seem really well behaved.I like the walking trail and the small workout area. It also has a soccer field thats pretty nice as well.My son loves the tire swing here as well.

This one is a winner. The playground itself has a fence all around. More than enough structure and shade to keep kids busy for hours. Additionally, a sizable walk around some water features and other park areas come complete with exercise station. There are also larger fields on the same property. Awesome.

My favorite part is all the old trees that shade the whole park which is great on hot days. I’ve never had trouble getting a parking space, even on a Saturday. It’s walking distance to many great dining options in Winter Park so it’s fun to make your visit a picnic. Bathrooms are usually tolerable which is rare at a public park. I like that whole park is fenced with only two gated entrances so I feel letting my kids play freely if I can see both exits.

Iconic well established playground in Winter Park. Very popular and lots of childeren most anytime. Went many times as a child and now I take my son there. Well shaded playground and clean restrooms available. Fitness equipment and nice walking path around the old sinkhole. Plenty of shops within walking distance. Great location.

A great wooden playground with lots of little nooks to hide away in. A walk around the lake will likely yield views of various birds, and perhaps fish, turtles, and even an otter. They stock thelake with fish as a community fishing pond. Lovely place to spend a family day.

We have passed this playground before since we visited Winter Park the first time. But did not stop to have our daughter play. But the second time we visited we did stop. We had lunch and let our daughter play with the other kids. It was Summer so there were plenty of kids to play with. Very nice park to be. Lots of shades to cover everywhere and even some areas of the parking. So overall it is nice and would definitely come back again.

This is my son’s favorite playground. We have been looking for a playground with a lot of shade, this is it. Great wooden castle, allows kids to use their imagination. Also it has bathrooms, and a water fountain. We love going to this playground

My son loves this playground! The main structure is a wooden and resembles a fort or castle with several turrets. Theres also a tire swing that can fit 4 kids, a log tunnel, slides, several benches, a covered pavilion for rent, and clean bathroom nearby.

Really cool wooden playground, swings, and slides. My son refers to this park as castle park. Its shaded by several oaks. Beautiful walking area too.

A great park and very welcoming. Anyone can come and parties can reserve the pavilion if they want to. There are swings for big and little kids. As well as slides. There is a huge plot of land in the back for those who want to play catch or tag and a beautiful walk way around the lake. Overall great park.

Really nice park, my grandson and I have been here for first time and he get crazy playing in all playground definitely recommend. The only complaint the facility of the restroom, is not Clean and no paper towel, not paper toilet.

My daughter loves the castle park! We are even planning on throwing her next birthday party at their pavilion. Play area is very clean and well maintained. Lots of shade and fun areas for the kids to play.

I love this playground! It is made of wood and looks like a castle. The kids love exploring it! It is well built and super sturdy! The playground is fenced completely. There is a covered gazebo which is great for play dates. I also love that it has the mommy and me swing!

This is my second favorite playground other than than lake Eola to take my daughter. This park always has a good amount of kids for her to play with. Its large and safe. I also like that the bathrooms are so close.

Great Playground! It is very clean and well maintained. There are playground activities for mulitple ages which works great for my family. The area also feels very same which is a big plus. Would definetly reccomend.

This park is great for kids off virtually any age. My 2 year old has been enjoying playing here for a year and it is relaxing enough that my infant can easy sleep through play time.

Great place to bring the kids. Very well maintained fun wooden playground. Nice chain link enclosure with several picnic tables and benches to sit and watch the kids play from. Completely covered by beautiful oak trees.

The area appears safe, in terms of soft wood chips and a full canopy of older trees to shade the space from the full Florida sun year round.Theres a bathroom nearby, shared with some ball fields

The kids love this park. Its really charming and provides a good outer area for adults to roam (provided they leave someone to watch their kids).

A lot of people call this Castle Park because of the towers. There is also a slide, swings and a contemporary tire swing.Next to soccer fields and overlooking a pond with a nice walk.Only thing missing for a 5 is the small parking lot for playground, park AND soccer fields. If there is a game or practice its tough to find a spot.Also the parking lot hasnt been painted in years so people park their big vehicles recklessly. Not efficient parking!Usually busy with kids. We love it!

This is a beautiful, scenic, family friendly, fenced-in park with overhanging trees, very large playground sets, swing sets, tables, benches, a pavillion, a lake, bridge, exercise equipment and restrooms located on Denning Street in the Winter Park area. This is a fun place for anyone- singles or families.

My kids love this place. It used to be a lot bigger and better, but they changed it up about a year ago. Bathrooms are not very clean. View is nice.

I and my family have been going to this Park for many years and I still love it, but Im very disappointed about the removal of the small library box that was there for years. Sad its gone.

Very cool playground. Very different from what we are used to where we are from. When we went it was very calm and peaceful. Right next to a beautiful pond with a walking trail around it. The only thing the kids mentioned was there werent monkey bars.

Great place to park and have my morning coffee etc. The children playing on great equip. Plenty of squirrels to feed and birds depending on the season....very SAFE and comfortable..... Thanks Orlando..... Jon....

AMAZING PARK FOR KIDS

A great place to bring your kids and also a great place to fish and just sight seeing..This is always me and my familys go to place when the kids want to have fun.
