Nice park, clean and well kept. Nice fields out back as well.

I think its a great little park for picnic and for kids to play. We had a special event at the covered area where you can make reservation for a large party of people. I enjoyed my Sunday, it will be probably crazy hot out here.

This is a beautiful park. Free to use. It has an open sports field for soccer, football, ultimate Frisbee or anything else you could care to play with friends. Three tennis courts also.For kids there are three count them three playground areas designed for different ages. Two sets of swings, some for babies and some for older kids (or kids at heart). Also quite a unique feature is a kids bouldering area (for climbing if you are not familiar with that term) these play areas are shaded by trees or by artificial shade canopies almost completely.Picnic pavilions available for meals and parties, public restrooms with running water, drinking fountains and a free little library. I cant think of much else to ask for in a free park!

Super cool park with three playgrounds for different age groups.

There was a used condum under the kid play area and a used needle in the bathroom. Other than that it was nice.

Nice park for kids and family

This is a great park with plenty of shade located in a rich neighborhood. This park has 3 play areas for kids, basketball court, 2 court tennis area, and big grassy field in the back. There are two covered picnic table areas plus single tables scattered throughout. Theres plenty of benches in the shade to sit in. There are two regular swings, 3 baby swings and a single baby swing with parent seat attached. Theres also a big rock for kinds to rock climb onto. There are bike racks and bathrooms and a working water fountain with cold water. The only thing missing are BBQ grills. There are none there not sure if you are allowed to bring your own. Great park overall.

Its a nice park to take my 1 yr old to explore. Lots of grassy area to walk the dog while he checks out leaves, follows squirrels, and watches people play tennis and basketball on the courts. Has a pretty decent wood playground for older kids, as well as swings for both babies and older kids or childish (me) adults. After school and weekends always has a bunch of kids and parents hanging out.

3 separate play grounds in one. So much activity at this park. And they have bathrooms.

Always awesome. I have been taking my son since 3. He is 12 now. My only complaint is being in the heart of the highest homeowners taxes and tennis courts look abandoned cracking 1 doesnt have a net and dividing net is useless so weather rotten.

A wooden playground! I had thought were all taken out years ago. Plus basketball and tents courts, plenty of shaded area and decent restrooms. Definitely a great place for families!

My kids and I love this spot. It’s really perfect for children of all ages including 3 different playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts. There are also bathrooms and picnic/sitting areas. Just wish we lived closer!!

This park was designed for kids like my daughter. She is adventurous and loves to climb. They have playgrounds designed for little kids (2-5) and big kids (5-12) along with tennis courts (with a backboard) and large green space. Definitely worth coming back.

Phelps park is a hidden treasure in Winter Park. Its right behind the YMCA off lakemont. They have three different areas for kids to play, a huuuuuuge open field, a cover picnic area, I could go on and on.My kids play here at least 3 times a week. If you are looking for a park day, this is the one to visit. Be sure your kids wear shoes though. Flip flops wont work well on the wooden play area.

Very safe and friendly atmosphere, bathrooms are fairly clean and well maintained, water fountains always working and in good condition. Kids love it !

So much to do.. Just found it . its free bunch o stuff for the kids and basketball and tennis and a huge feild for the kids to run around and be kids.. Love it... 5 starrs

Quaint, Beautiful playground park behind the Lakemont Y... 3 age-appro playground areas w/tablebenches on pavilion. Good seating in view of all areas, has restrooms & in-park borrowbox library. Greatest swingsets!

My family really enjoyed this park. There was a section for every age group. I enjoyed this swing that I could sit in and had a separate swing for an infant.

Great park, separate playgrounds for different ages

Fantastic playground. The park features 3 playgrounds, a plastic and steel playground for ages 0-8~ a newer semi-covered playground and a giant playground built from large timbers for older children 8-12~ creating interesting features and passages to climb through. I visited this playground many times while growing up and it is still by far my favorite playground. It is common to see parents getting involved in playing tag and having fun with their children on the large playground. This is a great place to make memories with your kids. The park also features two tennis courts with a wall for racquetball and a basketball court. A newer feature is a large plastic boulder which adds a new climbing aspect for young children.

This park has a very natural playground made by woods to improve kids physical skills and a very nice yard for playing football. You can visit this park with your dogs who loves being free. There is also a very nice tennis cort basketball area and picnic area...

Great park for taking the kids. I wish the space for the smaller kids was bigger, but it was adequate. Its not often that I see playgrounds with wooden structures either. Nice to have public restrooms close by.

Beautiful, shady park with plenty to do. Lots of room for the kiddos to run. 3 different play areas for different age groups which is awesome. Reminds me of some of the play sets from my childhood that you dont find very often anymore. Not a lot of parking would be the only concern if you were to have a party at one of the pavilions. But, overall, a gem in the community for the kids and adults alike.

Tons of Park benches for the parents to watch the kids. And three different playground areas. Unfortunately not all the playgrounds had a cover to block the sun. Only one playground had a cover.

Large, wooden playground for older kids and junior version for small ones. Been coming to this park since the 1970s and visited after swim lessons at the very close YMCA. Restrooms and tennis courts. Pavillion for picnicing. Only complaint is limited parking. But locals can walk or bike.
