This is one of our favorite parks to visit every time we are in the Winter Park area, which is at least once a month. It is right off Orlando Ave, and close to all the restaurants and shops around the area.We love the playground at this park. It is very ample and with lots of things to do and have fun with. My kids love all of the nooks and crannies it has to play, hide, and have fun in. Outside the playground, there are a couple of huge sport fields for Soccer and Football. There also happens to be a small exercise area with equipment, right next to the playground. There is a nice little trail to walk around the park, however, currently, it is partially closed due to construction of the new Winter Park Events Center and Library (Beautiful Building by the way). Nevertheless, if your desire is to take your kids to a nice quiet, yet fun, playground, this is the place to be. Do what we do, enjoy a nice little meal with your family at one of the many restaurants nearby, then swing by to this park to let your kids have fun and unwind. By the time you’re done, they have had an enjoyable day and you have too.

What a great little park we stumbled upon by accident. Had a real family and community feel to it. Really good for kids with a nice playground and plenty of birds to look at and feed. The park even has a sun screen dispenser at the entrance to the children’s playground.

This is our favorite park to play at. Most of the play equipment is wood, so no worries about burning on hot plastic. What isnt wood is covered by fantastic shade. In fact, most of the play ground is nicely shaded. There are 4 swings and a tire swing. The ground is cushioned by wood chips. Weve been going to this park for 6 years and we love every second of it. We love the pond area as theres a terrific walking path that takes you around and over the ponds with bridges. There is never a lack of wildlife either. Weve gone as far as seeing a river otter as well.

Nice quiet location for walking the trail... But now there is construction blocking the trails. Hopefully by mid 2021 they will be finished with all the construction, that is messing up the beautiful park.

This is one of the best parks in the area... Its just beautiful here. It has a nice paved sidewalk to go walking, with a bridge and path, around two small bodies of water that boast wildlife such as ducks, turtles, fish, herons... Also has an area for exercise, with nice workout equipment and instruction on how to use it. The park also has a couple Soccer fields, a softball/baseball diamond. The best part is the wooden playground. It has swings, tunnels, a wooden structure to climb on/in/through, a slide, and lots of tables and seating for the grown ups that need a break... Its a lot of fun for the little ones. I brought my daughter here, some 23 years ago... Now I bring my grand-daughter. She loves it as much as her mom did, all those years ago. I highly recommend his Park if youre looking for something fun to do with your little one, or you just want to get out and exercise and walk while enjoying nature around you.

Mlk Jr. Park is ok. The equipment has seen better days and they only have 2 slides (one that is very low for little kids). They only have one pavilion and it is always booked for a birthday so if you want to beat the FL heat while youre kids run around you will be out of luck.

A great park for kids, with a walking/jogging trail and an exercise area for adults.
