Walk is almost entirely adjacent to the highway. Very short trail goes under highway and ends at large power station. Pretty little river, but noisy cars and lots of poison ivy.

Tried to walk today but too muddy under the bridge. Requested Parks department put down gravel to make it accessible. Was told a supervisor would review. Graffiti under the bridge not very becoming either.

Wonderful walk. Takes a little over an hour and it is paved.

Waynesvilles Greenway is an absolute joke. The town needs to either remove the designation or commit to making a quality space.

I was on a long training run. Came by that way twice. I was in pain. I was thirsty. My feet hurt. My chest hurt. Second time by, I had three more miles to go including a climb up Old Howell Road.Nice park!

Quite giving its next to busy hwy exit beautiful,not alot of traffic considering that.but peaceful, natural rustic scene by lake the best golf course to be at if you need to find yoir peace an rest yoir mind an relaxing..world needs more places like this..
