While many of the exhibits are closed due to remodeling and repairs, my family was not disappointed in the activities we were able to do. The Mane Cafe is still open and serving what I thought was a good lunch, and refilled our tanks. No indoor seating is available, but there is plenty of outdoor seating. Watching the kids interact with the California Sea Lions, Orangutans, and hearing the lion bellow was certainly the highlight of the trip. I would recommend the Zoo still. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, bring water to drink, and plan on taking your time. There are only a certain amount of entry passes given each day, so make sure you plan ahead accordingly. There are plenty of hand sanitizing stations throughout the park.
Overall a great zoo that is free and open to the public. A decent amount of exhibits and animals arent available during covid times and the layout of how they want to direct traffic is frustrating at times.A great place to visit and see some cool things for sure. Hopefully they fill exhibits and fix the routing issues.
Beautiful zoo here in DC. its totally free all you have to do is go online and pay for parking. Lots of shade and many different animals to check out. Just make sure you bring your walking shoes and heres a small suggestion. Freeze some bottles of water to take with you inside the park. The bottles of water can get a tad bit expensive. But we had a good time here. The kids loved it. Its a must see when looking for a family activity to kill a few hours
National zoo visit during heavy rain. While many of the exhibits were closed due to COVID or the season, we were dressed appropriately using rain gear and rain boots. Coffee, ice cream, funnel cake, and other vendors were open. Suggest getting coffee or hot chocolate. Pandas/Asia trail were closed. Bears, elephants, sea lions, cows, donkeys, antelope, deer, leopards, bison, apes, gators/crocs were all visible. Think tank exhibit was supposed to be open, however no one was available to open the door and the door was locked. We tried at 11am and 1pm and neither time was the building manned. Would not recommend coming during the heavy rain. Read the map that is available today and in the photos below that shows all the closed exhibits and weigh if you want to visit. It took us with a group of 10 about 3 hours to run through all the open exhibits with very few breaks.
Nice abs clean. Very organized as far as paths go. Everything is beautiful!
Very easy to find. There were lots of one way paths, everybody for the most part was social distancing. There were a few attractions that were indoors, the staff did an excellent job of limiting the amount of people into the building. It could have been even better if a canopy or umbrellas were set up, so while waiting we could be out of the sun. We had a good time and would recommend.
Its a great place to visit. I go each summer with my class on field trips, but this yr, wasnt feasible. My favorite animals to see are the lions. I love to hear them roar...they sound funny, not intimidating.
We had a fantastic visit. Weve been to several attractions during the pandemic and this Zoo is handling the restrictions best. People are respectful of social distancing and there are restrictions on how many people can be inside buildings at one time. Its completely acceptable to wait for a bit as long as everyone is staying safe. Well done.
Zoo and Coronavirus restrictions simply dont go together. Zoo is nice, but all (except of 3) pavilions are closed. All educational games are Dont touch. Basically it was very nice walk in beautiful park with occasionally spotting some animal.
A nice zoo, enough free public parking nearby, good variety of exhibits and animals even during COVID reduced displays. Timed ticketed entry does a good job of cutting down on crowds during COVID. I witnessed employees enforcing mask requirements of visitors. Confessions where reduced appropriately to offer services but reduce crowding. Good one way path modifications and shutdowns to reduce two way path travel with closer contact.
I think its a good thing that they are making people set up a time to visit the zoo so that way they can control the number of visitors per day/hour.It wasnt that crowded and we got to see pretty much everything.Although there are food concessions, prices are pretty steep. Luckily they let you bring in outside food. Id def pack lunch and bring plenty of beverages. It can get pretty hot.
I would have given them five stars but I want to give them for because some of the animals were not available to see and I have been there quite a few times with the same board do I think they should discount the parking if theres some animals that are major not going to be there. Other than that everything is pretty free-flowing and smooth. All the people that work there are very nice and helpful for the most part.
Love the zoo, although many exhibits were closed; reptile house, American Trail, Panda House, Rainforest, aviary. We did not see giraffes, hippos or rhinos and only saw one Asian bear (no Grizzlies, black bears, brown bears or polar bears.) Not sure if this is due to COVID or a limited animal population. Actually, as I think about it, I am able to name more animals we did NOT see than the ones we did. This would not be as much of an issue had we not paid $30 per car for parking and we had 2 cars. I love this zoo, but I am extremely disappointed.
Was pleasantly surprised to find the zoo open during the pandemic. While its necessary to buy tickets ahead of time and wear masks at all times, its awesome to walk around the zoo with reduced visitor capacity.
This zoo is simply amazing. It has a great conservation efforts and it has the most diverse animal collection. Staff is nice, gave me cookies because my mom was a FONZ member. I have been coming to this zoo since the old hippo and giraffe days and will continue for a while!
Normally the zoo is a lot of fun but right now they have a bunch of the paths closed or one way so it is hard to navigate and you end up at dead ends. They did have places open to eat and take off your mask which was nice.
I loved it here! Some places were closed though because of covid19 but still fun to see all the animals. Everyone was wearing masks and good effort by the zoo to keep people healthy by providing hand sanitizing dispensers all over.
Great covid place since it was outdoors. Since it was so cold and I assume covid.... Only about half the animals were out and about. Just the standard animals that youd think of a zoo. Great for free!
The primate exhibits were so cool, and the zoo itself is very large. I loved seeing the prairie dogs! There are also very cool souvenirs.
Loved seeing the animals and loved looking at the exhibits. Only problem was that the place was huge and at one point we lost my grandfather and we never ended up finding him. But other than that it was a great experience and I would definitely visit again. Anyways RIP Grand Poppy Bob.
My daughter loves this zoo. We visit during the week so its not busy at all. Paid for the parking and the lot only had a few cars. I believe a lot of people walk through the main entrance and use the street parking. Love that tickets are free!
The National Zoo is fantastic, but with the pandemic a lots of good attractions remain closed.
A place where you can see all wild animals in one place. Well organized, great service and very cheap to visit. You only pay $30 for parking.
Going first thing in the morning was great! All of the animals were more active & playful. Got to see the seal check up, the otters played with our daughter, the tigers were chatty, and mom orangutan took baby for a stroll on the O-Line.On the COVID measures, not all houses are open but the ones that are have a limit of people & plus a time limit to keep things moving. Hand sanitizer was everywhere and masks are required.
Its one of the best zoos on earth for a reason. Wide variety of animals from around the world, some not seen anywhere else. Pandas are the main sight of course, but the elephant trail and orangutan cable car -- peak transit -- are worthwhile sights all their own.
Prepare yourself for one heck of a walk because this place is huge ! Set your apple watch or your FitBits and strollll . It’s free but you have to get reserve tickets online. Be aware they sell out at the blink of an eye so grab em while you can.Due to covid a lot of the animals are not shown so you might not get to see as much but you’ll get your steps in Thats for sure!!
It was a nice cool, sunny day. Great to take the family in a walk. Unfortunately a lot of the exhibits where closed due to covid-19, and the safety of the staff and visitors. The restaurant plaza is open and so are the little ice cream kiosk. The Zoo is open for 8 am to 4 pm and make sure to buy your pass online....
It was a great experience, but sadly COVID restricted many areas of the zoo I would be interested in.
Although it is a small zoo, it is a nice walk or place to visit that is free to the public when you walk/take public transportation. Some features of the zoo are close due to renovations or preventions, so if you are interested in a particular exposition, you should check if it will be open in their website
Understanding the pandemic has caused major stress on attractions throughout the city, the zoo has done just okay. Yes, timed passes, masks, single direction signage and social distancing are great, but that is only one facet. The condition of a few of the exhibits and animal enclosures were clearly in need of attention. Specifically the cleanliness of the sea lion and otter tanks as well as the great apes. Again, understanding things have changed is one thing, but dirty pools and mice running around inside the ape/baby enclosure seems an easy to address issue.
Typically, I very much so like this zoo. But be warned, during COVID it’s a lot of walking with not a lot open. The Asia trail was being paved, and many other sections were being blocked off. Most of the indoor areas were closed. It was weird areas that were closed too, like if you were allowed to walk 5 more feet you would have been able to see the animal. I think like many places - they are trying to work on a lot of the infrastructure while it’s less busy. I will say however the ticket booking process was so easy.
Still in reopening stages due to pandemic (Aug 2020), so several exhibits closed. Overall though, nice variety of animals and nicely laid out walking paths. I like how close some of the exhibits allowed you to view the animals. Very busy with lots of families on a Thursday as well! My only complaint is really lack of restrooms- it seemed like a bit of a hunt to track one down. One small thing was the price of food- however I dont know if that was because its a captive audience, or general prices of the DC area. That aside, absolutely worth a visit!
They are doing the best they can afford to do right now. I miss seeing the reptiles. The birds are closed for renovations. The panda house is closed due to the new baby, which is good. But since you can get the panda cam at home, why not at the zoo?We met a very nice and informative volunteer by the Orangutan House. She knew all 7 of them by name!Perhaps more volunteers can help open the Reptile House?
Open zoo with good arrangements even Covid times. We went by car and it was really easy to get parking and walk back to the park. I would recommend peope to go by car instead of WMATA metro.Although currently, most of the halls have been closed to avoid excessive piblic in enclosed spaces, all the open air animal sections are still available. There are good options for eating for the whole family. One great addition was sanitzier dispensers almost every 200 steps.
The National zoo is the best. My families fav spot to go and enjoy the day
We visited yesterday. It was enjoyable, although one disappointment was that the Asia Trail had just been closed for repaving, for six months. This wasnt mentioned on the website when I booked our passes last week, or marked on the map I was sent a link to on the day of our visit, so we walked our 3 year old all the way up there for nothing. It would be nice if major (and planned) changes to the open areas could be flagged at entry points. On the plus side, we enjoyed other exhibits (my 3yo particularly liked the orangutans), there was plenty of cleaning in evidence, and people were mostly distancing and wearing masks. Its a nice half-day out in the fresh air.
I love the zoo I cant get enough of it. One of the best parts about the zoo is that its free if you walk to the zoo you can walk right in and you dont have to pay anything. However, if you drive there and you want to park, parking cost $25. Thats a lot for parking especially if youre going by yourself however if youre going with the family and you have three or four or five people with you $25 is not bad at all especially considering you dont have to pay an entrance fee. If you want to see the giant pandas try and get there early in the morning thats when theyre usually outside and most active. The Cheetahs are usually out all day long so you can see them and theyre very cool. If you get to the Lions around 3:30 you might be able to hear the male lion roar calling in his pride. The Gray Wolf is another one of my favorites shes usually there walking around sort of pacing back and forth. Shes old about 16 years old so she doesnt do a whole lot of running and playing but she does do a lot of pacing back and forth so you should be able to see her. the tigers are usually lazy and just sit around even the Cubs are pretty lazy but you should be able to see them even when they are just lying around. Theres lots of other cool animals so just wander explore the zoo and have a good time.
One of the best zoos! This zoo is well maintained and absolutely free! There is no entrance fee but they do accept any kind of donations. If you need a map, its $5 but totally worth it because there is coupons inside and also saves you time . The zoo parking is $25 flat rate but we were able to use the 2 hours free street parking which was great. Animals are well taking care of and fun to watch. There is a lot of interesting animals to see . The zoo is very big and also have a carousel rides! Cheap Fun for the whole family !
The zoo has a lot of exhibits that are closed but theres still plenty of great animals to see and its not very crowded so you can see the animals without the big crowds. I felt very safe and comfortable everyone was wearing a mask and keeping their distance.
Sooooooo. So much wasnt open when we went so maybe not a fair review however enough was closed that it was like a half effort was being made, then half of the park was under some sort of wicked loud construction. So then half the food carts were closed. Then they didnt even offer an idea like 25 percentage off souvenirs, or free drink with. Sandwich. They need better response and marketing department. But it was still kinda cool.
Perfect outing or date option and great for families. Seeing the animals in a safe environment and seeing how well they are treated while being able to marvel and how incredible they all are is so special. They also had really delicious crepes and other great food options. I can’t wait to go back this spring!
Exhibits were amazing and the animals were lively. You will get your workout as you walk around the whole zoo. It is totally worth it. Some exhibits are closed because of COVID, but the trip is well worth it.
Had a great time, lots of animals out and about. Some buildings were closed due to covid which I understand. Only thing I was disappointed with was some of the parts outside were also closed off. Im off the mindset that you assume the risk when you show up so I dont think closing paths its necessary. Anyway it was definitely worth the trip. Parking process was easy to follow and not too crowded throughout the zoo.
Had a great time with my girls and got a lot of walking done. Would be nice to mark the currently open bathrooms. We raced back to the farm animal bathroom and later found one open near the elephants. We panicked and didnt need to.
The zoo is doing a great job of keeping crowds low and spaced out with timed entry. Zoo is clean and well stocked bathrooms and hand sanitizer is everywhere. One way paths are well marked. Unfortunately they are doing renovations so many exhibits are closed. Check the website before visiting.
First off its free. A zoo of this quality is almost never free. That by itself is amazing. However because of the pandemic, a few of the exhibits arent open, including my favorite, the reptile house. Still an awesome zoo that id recommend to anyone that has a handful of hours to kill
Im sure pre-covid, this was a great place to visit. It was still nice, but not very many animals to look at.
It was good. There are measures Tashkent to increase safety by limiting the amount of people in the park. The family had a good time
I want to tell you about Baby Panda. I suffer from depression and anxiety. I have so much enjoyed the videos of baby and mommy. Its the first thing I do in the morning and thru out my day. The videos are just precious. They have given me such a big dose of enjoyment. Thank you so much for sharing. Gloria RinckShawnee KS
Loved the zoo with all the animals and their ambience, definitely recommend it. Its just due to COVID-19, not wverything was open.. but ehat we saw like the elephants, bear, tiger, lion etc. BeautifulWhat I dont recommend specifically is in the panda plaza, there is a bbq restaurant starts with southern... Dont order their BBQ sandwich chicken or brisket, its HORRIBLE. Brisket I wasnt even able to eat it with the chewness, the burger bread was cold and I was very hungry. Definitely try something else.
Completely liked it. But currently it is not fully open. Only about 50%. Waiting for the light show to begin! Its going to be wonderful.Btw the metro is just waking distance from the entry to the zoo so you may not need to take a cab here or get your own vehicle. Enjoy....
Great zoo, has plenty to do and see. We have been here several times including during night events like Zoofari and Zoolights. Both are great events if you can attend. Parking is $30 now during COVID. Plus you need timed tickets for entry. Not all food service is open now, see their website for details.
We had a great time visiting with two five year-olds. Timed entry tickets (free, but need to get online ahead of time) and face masks required for those six and older. Most kids three and older, including ours, wore masks. Some exhibits were closed (pandas, reptile house, small mammal house, etc.), but with so few people there we actually saw more and at closer distances than in years past. Our favorites were the gorillas, elephants, and seals. Do to social distancing requirements there were lines to get into see the gorillas and elephants, but the lines move quickly and the zoo workers make the wait as fun as possible.Snack foods, beverages, and souvenirs available for sale.
This is an amazing zoo. The animals are well cared for and have plenty of room to roam. It takes several hours to walk through. Also, theres plenty of signage so you dont get lost. The best part...its free.
Not worth visiting during Covid-19 restrictions. It was hot today, low 90s, so the animals may have been hiding due to the heat. But most buildings are closed, all childrens play areas are closed, and most enclosure overlooks that allow you to see the animals closer were closed. Elephant house and Ape house were open, but we didnt wait in line to go inside. Most animal enclosures had no visible animals. On the Asiatic path, we saw river otters and thats it. Bird house section is closed for renovations. Inside panda viewing was closed. Several enclosures said the animals were off exhibit. If you happen to want to go for a hilly walk and possibly see an animal or two, that could be worth the free admission. We paid $30 for parking since we are traveling from out of state. You are required to book tickets or pay for parking in advance due to occupancy limitations.
It was pretty good. Not too crowded. You have to enter by Connecticut St. Just past the lions wear in masks.Look up smithsonian zoo ENTRANCE. Google maps kept looping us around and back to the exit if you only look up the zoo.
One of my favorite zoos! The only down side today was there was no panda viewing. But its got a good reason, a baby panda was just born!!!
The National Zoo us a great place no matter your age, you can spend hours just walking around and there is food and drinks available if you need a break. So fun for the kids and a nice, scenic walk for the adults
Good effort by Smithsonian to open during corona times but its very hard for people to maintain social distancing at popular place(seals, elephants, etc). You need tix for entry. Theyre free unless you want to park in the zoo. Tix were easy to get. I got tickets to go Saturday morning(around 9am) expecting to it not be crowded but there were crowds. Had to skip some animals. Maybe zoo can limit ppl per animal trail. Otherwise good/normal experience.
Its our educational tour with the family to learn about many different kinds of animals around the world. We love the place!
Love the zoo. Smithsonian Zoo is one of the best. Free admission just $25 to park on the grounds. Bring yourself or a van load its just $25. Somewhat hilly and spread out so expect to burn some calories. Great exhibits. The skyway for the orangutans is awesome. This is a must see when in DC.
Such a beautiful and magical place for adults and children. I think everybody should visit at least once in their lives.
Organized and fun place to visit. Went with niece and she loved it. Look how chill is the chimp on second photo that I have uploaded.
Exciting place to visit. Nice outdoor experience with cool exhibits, however no temperatures were taken and social distancing was not really being practiced.
A DC must do. Nestled in NW of the district it is easy to get to with metro and there is a good paid parking option. Great selection of animals and the layout is spacious. There is an old fashioned carrousel that is a hit with the kids.
There is a lot to do here and a lit to see. Nicely laid out but in some places is easy to get lost so pay attention. Food and drink here are very expensive and the gifts shop is as well. Come a little later in the day as some of the animals are not out at opening and pay attention to the show roster. But did get a lot of pictures of unique animals that are hard to find at times but can be seen on the trip back. Not a bad trip overall.
Very spacious!! Animals are kept well! Good prices for the eateries and souvenirs!! Staff is courteous friendly knowledgeable!
Nice layout. Only downside was several buildings and exhibits were closed due to covid.
The staff was very helpful and efficient dealing with the changes made through to covid-19. We managed to see all of the exhibits that were open in about 2.5 hours, although many of the animals or not out / visible due to the extreme heat. The heat was a challenge for us as well, but was manageable by taking breaks in the air conditioned indoor exhibits that were open.I cant stress, the importance of bringing enough hydrating beverages. Although they are available for purchase at the park, it is incredibly pricey. There are many places to sit and rest in the shade, and picnicing seems to be encouraged in several of them. Strollers are available for hire, at a reasonable price, and everything is very stroller accessible. While pamphlets/maps were not available at time, there were many maps and guides scattered throughout the entire park, and it was quite easy to navigate. We traveled in via the Metro, and it was a quick and relatively easy walk from the station to the Zoos main pedestrian entrance. You have to register for free tickets (admittance is always free of charge), for specific time, to show up on entry. This is to track the Zoos capacity, do to covid-19 policies. Our train had a delay, but it was not an issue at the gate, when we arrived late.
Stopped to check out the zoo on our way leaving DC. Very easy to find. We were there on a Tuesday in November, it was not overly busy so we easily got to see all the animals. We arrived just before their feeding times, around 11am. The animals were really active. Even got to see the orangutan travel the tight rope between his two buildings- so cool! The animals we saw after lunch were mostly napping.
Unfortunately most of the exhibits are closed with many of the animals absent. However if you want to take a good walk and enjoy some of the animal exhibits its worth the few hours.
Incredibly impressed with the zoo, especially that it has free admission! I arrived about 8:30 a.m., 30 minutes after opening and noticed that some of the exhibits didnt open until 9 a.m. and many of the vendors didnt open until 10 a.m. I was at the zoo almost 3 hours and was able to go through all the areas. My favorite was the small mammals building. Next to the farm animals is a good size playground that had lots of happy children enjoying it.
Smithsonian National Zoological Park still remains and Amazing Zoological facility and they have made sure that All guest visiting are well taken care of from HAND sanitizers everywhere & CLEAR and DIRECT signage All over the place. As expected pretty much all indoor facilities - like The Mammal/Reptile Houses are closed. Restaurants that are open offer all out-door seating, with the majority of food carts and trucks closed. RESERVATIONS are need to enter and remain FREE with availability of course . Always worth the Visit.
Always a good time. Its a bit slower these days and there is a bit of renovation going on so some exhibits are closed (pandas). My daughter loves coming here.
Traveled to the zoo with family and was very disappointed. The entire Asia trail is closed down and the only animal buildings that were open were the great ape house and the elephant house. There were also a number of exhibits that were empty and those that were open didnt seem to be well care for. It would be fine for a walk but if you are planning a trip dont bother right now. It would be nice if they told you everything that was closed on the website.
It was a nice park but most of the things were closed and alot of the animals were not on display. But nice clean facilities and good food. Would like to come back when things are open again to give a proper review.
Decent variety of animals and pretty good viewing areas. Unfortunately we visited during covid and right after the panda had given birth so there were a lot of areas closed down. Would love to visit when all exhibits are open.
None of the animals were out when we walked around for 2 hours. Luckily the experience is free otherwise I would have been quite salty for paying to see zero animals in a zoo..... I guess next time I want to go look at cages with environments in them this is a great place to go.
We LOVE Smithsonian Zoo!!! They did great job preparing for visitors during this panoramic time. Ensuring both people and Animals are safe!!
It was a nice zoo and I did enjoy it. It was disappointing to find that the Amazonia Exhibit and Reptile House was closed because of the pandemic. Also the panda exhibit was closed because they were repaving the area around it. I did have a good time though.
Be warned that strollers are not as readily available now because of Covid so best to bring your own.
30/car or free to walk in so the price is nice!We went during Covid so 1/3 was closed but we still spent 3 hours and didn’t see everything we could.Loved the big cats and elephants.
My family and I had a wonderful time! Lots to see and so much to learn! It was a great day spent seeing all the animals.
Really beautiful zoo. Wonderful to see so many babies and toddler families out enjoying the place. Not as crowded as expected.
Love this zoo its always fun!! Cost a little to park but after all the zoo is free! Fun for everyone!
Excellent place for a stroll. Great animals. I am of two minds about zoos. I love the conservation part, but some of the animals clearly feel trapped. The reptiles seem happy, but the cats that pace clearly need more roaming space.
Whats the greatest wish of a Panda? To take a color photo :-PSorry for that lame humor but the highlight of this zoo? P.A.N.D.A!!! Where else can you see them and for free!? They were absolutely the cute thing. It was a nice balmy day when we went so the Pandas were not outside. It greatly disappointed us initially to think that we missed them and had to see them through a monitor only. But a few more steps from the Panda look out, there was an interior look through the mirror conservatory where the Pandas happily cowed their bamboo! They were so close and they are absolutely worth seeing!Other than that, the zoo is pretty much the same as other zoos and its located on a steep hill... So be prepared to hike here. We had a stroller and a 15kg sitting in it, not fun on the slope *_*
Its allowed to get in which I was so astounded. We had the option to acquire our very own sustenance and beverages!! The creatures were hard and fast and appear to appreciate the sun the same amount of as we were. The washrooms were pleasant and cleaned, the staff that we cooperated with by the reptiles were incredibly knowledgeable. They had water sprinklers in territories to stroll in since it was so hot. Generally speaking an incredible spot to go visit.
We enjoyed our visit. Saw lions, elephants, zebra, cheetahs, tigers, sea lions, otters, Komodo dragon, and more. The Asia trail was undergoing construction so we were unable to see the pandas. Due to COVID, both the reptile and small mammal houses were closed. Theres no admission charge and we parked on the street in the neighborhood near the Harvard St bridge entrance, so it was a fun, free afternoon activity for our family.
I loved the zoo!! The zoo was very clean and nice. The animals were cool and interactive. The only downside are the prices of the food and drinks. So I would definitely suggest to pack a lunch and a cooler with cold water to save on money. I would definitely suggest going if you are in DC!
If you love nature & animals, then I highly recommend visiting the Smithsonian National Zoological Park. The admission is free. It’s part of the Smithsonian Fund. Google this history of this fund, you’ll be delighted to know how it started. You can drive or use the metro with a pleasant walk to the park.If you have not seen a Panda in your life, this is your chance. The zoo has a number of giant Pandas.I was so lucky to arrive at the feeding time. I enjoyed fully!Note: There is no cell reception at the Panda’s place. You can’t broadcast your visit live.
Always a fantastic place to visit. However, with the current Covid-19 restrictions, a handful of exhibits are closed and many of the paths are one-way. Its not a problem, but does take a bit of strategic planning to avoid having to back track to the bottom of the hill more than once.
Just my opinion I think this zoo is better then the one in Baltimore, here they have more to offer you....
If you get into parking lot D you get a pretty straight shot to see everything in 1 ish go around. Be prepared for extra walking as a lot of paths are 1 way, it was still enjoyable and fun tho. I hadnt been there in 15 years.
Its a family oriented place, good exercise and great choice of foods..
This zoo is a beautiful place to pass your day. There are a high variety of animals. The is a lot of waking up and down and stairs so get a good pair of running shoes and light clothes if your planning to come to this zoo. Awesome place to take your children, place is clean and staff is kind
The Zoo was pretty amazing. We were all very happy with our experience. Parking is $25 and entrance into the park is free. The volunteers were very informative and there were a ton of great exhibits.
Visited the zoo with in laws, nieces and nephews, and our girls. Fun time had by all. The 2 brothers looked like the kids while the grandparents lead them around. Too sweet
