What can I say Welcome to America. A landscape of the early American sacred buildings. Minus the heat, its a breeze to navigate through this area on foot (depends on your physical capability). Navigating through this area in a car during heavy tourist season, carry your patience with you and be expecting of things not going as planned. This area is definitely a sight to see. A shout out to the individuals who maintain these buildings and areas... Behold such splendor.
I like the Starbucks here, very friendly people. ADA friendly facility, always accommodating to my service dog and respectful of our needs as customers. Try it out, and go next door for a hat!
In some ways this is where America began. It’s worth the time to visit the Washington DC area and explore the historic areas.
It was very nice . My wife and I walked around to see the monuments and the beginning of the blossoms.
Our nations capital. Love going there to watch the people exercising their right to put on an organized protest. And the many other great events that take place there. Not to mention the tourists going to and fro. Always an electric buzz in the air here.
Every time I come to DC its my number one place to go! The temporary exhibitions of certain art is a must see if you cant travel across the world.
Its a great way to learn some of the history of our country and the men who help build it
Part of my Honor Flight trip, had never been to DC, enjoyed all the famous building and wish all Americans could visit DC in there lifetime.
Have alot of my parades down here
Nice to walk on this famous street that has seen many US Presidents.
It was a great day for a walk to view historic buildings yesterday. I really need to remember to start taking photos
Beautiful setting in a busy part of the city. Still managed to learn history here.

Great to share history with your grandchildren! I suggest guided tours.
So many languages you hear walking this street. America the beautiful!
It an nice area full of malls and Museums.
I was traveling from Walmart and waiting for my bus back home. Enjoyed the sights of so many tourists.
Great place to visit. An absolute must for everyone!
This historic landmark is notozable from many angels of the Farragut Square, during summer there is always something happening on Fridays. The park is very well maintained so it catch your attention when there is something happening. Great place to get food from the food trucks for your lunch brake and then eat at the park.
This was a very nice place with causual pricing. It is a short walk from the National Mall area. Need a place to eat and wait till 7pm to get on the metro during off peak hours? Here is your spot! Also the fish and chips are amazing!!! It was intense haha they bring it out on a large plate with one huge fillet and the lady tells me Ill be right back saying this dish comes with two of these fillets. I looked at her and said another one of these as I point at my plate. Long story short I recommend this place nothing bad to say here.
One of the beautiful places in DC to visit. Truly, the National Mall area is so much to see in so little time for those who visit.
It was a one day trip. To see all the museums, most of which are free, you will need a whole week! The space, black history and Smithsonian are the the most popular ones to see first. It is a lot of walking but its fun! Bring your water and snack in your backpack.Bathrooms are in all the museums.Parking is hectic so a bus trip is the best option and a ticket will cost you as much as $500 if you park in the wrong places so beware!
The view here is amazing.
Great family place. Beautiful
It was great to be able to see so many monuments in one large space. I loved walking around with my family exploring these historical monuments and even discovered places I didnt know about.
You are still relatively far from the White House even when you are standing in front of it. There is a park across the street that they have ushered people into the last two times I have visited. The park attracts a lot of people protesting about anything and everything you can imagine. The US treasury is right beside the White House and you are a lot closer to it. Some Secret Service workers there are helpful and will chat you up. It is nice to go around to the back of the white house and see it from that view.
How do you review a national monument? It was nice?
Great visit. Only was able to spend an hour and a half here. So much more to see and hike. We will be back.
Awesome! What an experience

Thats where the Presidential parade takes place. The whole avenue is super elegant and a pleasure to walk along. Stop at the Newseum, from which the view over the avenue is amazing.

Washington DC is just a beautiful place to visit and walk around. Great sites
Our city government at work as the last colonial district entity. Taxation without independent autonomy a work in progress for statehood.
Washington DC....no place like it. Traffic is crazy but tour bus first visit orients the visitor so that furthrr travel is much easier . Beautiful Immaculate Elegant ...so much history.Take a tour...listen carefully to the guide note what interests you and visit one or two of those ...savve the others for next visit. Until recently we visited twice yearly. Restaurants galore bfrom $ to$$$$$. New WW2 monument is so correct. for that era. If you start at Lincoln memorial...park car and walk the perimeter of the reflecting pool. Youll see all of theyre tons monuments.
Everywhere in Washington D.C., every site was spectacular.
The Smithsonian Museum of Natural History was probably the most impressive Museum I have ever visited
One of the best trips to our nations capital. The capitol builing is incredibly beautiful inside and out. Wow!
The foods pretty good.

Great experience.
Love all the statues of historic people.
I had a great time with my son after his graduation!!
Excellent, but you have to drive carefully, some times the traffic is horrible and you have to pay attention to crosswalk, signals, traffic cameras they are everywhere and be alert for your speed limit, and if youre not familiar with the area make sure you are parking and the right spot, so if you did all this steps be prepared to spend a beautiful day in Washington DC.
So many nice places to walk around in DC, even in winter.
