This is a nice park with a few trails to walk along. The trails lead to the Rock Creek park. This park is also connected to other parks like Montrose Park and this makes it a good place to spend more than a few hours. Good place for the kids to get in the water along the trails and pick some rocks or generally get dirty in the water and dirt!Parking along 32 and R St is the best option (close to Montrose Park). One of the best areas for a nice weekend picnic :)

Beautiful scenery of a creek, meadow & trails for forest bathing. Finding sit spots throughout the park to observe the wildlife is awesome. & if youre with a significant other, or potential s.o., then youll enjoy Lovers Lane. One of many little gems in the district.

This park runs across parts of Rock Creek which makes it a great side spot for anyone enjoying DC outdoors. There will be plenty of street parking around the park but there is no dedicated parking. Entrance is free and open by foot, and it offers several types of trails for any type of nature walk. Some parts are steep and will get slippery if it rains so wear the right shoes. Enjoy the travel!

A lovely park in the middle of DC!! This place is a hidden gem. We went to see the cherry blossoms this year, away from the tidal basin. It was really nice and peaceful and theres a lot to explore. You arent allowed food and drinks in there, and there is a $10 ticket to be there. It has one of those English garden kind of spot. Im sure they do a lot of event organization there, like wedding and parties. It also has another park behind it which is free of cost.. its more like a backyard to the Clintons. Actually thats the spot Hillary Clinton was spotted walking the morning after the election, her photo trended with a dog walker there !

The park is nice and free. Virgin nature to enjoy by. Place can serve as a shelter during the day heat in the summer.
