I have to tell you that this place is amazing. It was my first time here and I will definitely come back. Do to COVID-19 the management team top priority is safety, safety, safety! Signs are posted, and you can still have an enjoyable time with your family and friends or even by yourself. Race tracks are incredible and kept up. Definitely recommend going to this establishment. What a fun experience. A little pricey but we had fun.They also have a great Putt-Putt course onsite. Great for the kiddos.

We visited while on vacation and had a great time. We were there off season and almost had the place to ourselves. The employees were really attentive and made sure that we had a nice time. The cars all seemed to run well for the most part and the tracks were in good condition. Definitely a good place to visit if youre into go karting.

Awesome place if you are into Go-karts very affordable, pay as you go or purchase the unlimited wristband and enjoy the different tracks. And the manager very welcoming and told me and my family have a blessed day which goes along way whenever someone wishes me to have a blessed day makes me feel love and welcome. Thank you Motor world and staff see you guys next year.

I cannot give this place no stars or I would have. While I understand there is a pandemic causing some closures but when we arrived there was a list of about 8 or 9 kids rides on the placard each listing a price of $4. There was no list of unavailable rides. The other option was a 3 hour pass for $30. After entering the ride area we found that there were 2 rides that were out of order and others that were closed which left only 3 or 4 rides available for our child How many times can you ride those 3 or 4 rides. There was a sign posted at the ticket booth ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS. It was not stated or told to us that 4 of the rides were unavailable. Wow is that bad business. Not only was there an additional charge for the family go carts but the childrens one was not available. I am not sure what this place is like normally but this was my first and LAST time there.

Great place for family fun. They have kids carts all the way up to pro carts that go nearly 40 mph. We rode most all the tracks and did the super carts and had a blast. Thwy did a nice job of sanitizing the carts after every ride. Super fun place to visit and reasonably priced as well.

Wow so much fun and truly for any age as they have multiple tracks for adults and kids including a track that claims the go karts reach 50 mph. Also amusement rides for kids an arcade and fair type eatery this place has everything to spend the day here. Want a day away from the beach this is the place to go.

I went with my boyfriend foe my first time the other day. We both had a blast, but the place needs to be rebuilt and the go-karts could be newer. This place gave me empty amusement park vibes. On another note, the prices here are insane, and not in a good way. One ride is $9, and while you get a good ride in, it doesn’t seem like a good value. $9 a ride is expensive and it adds up quick.Also, while we were there, a kart ended up catching on fire. Luckily nobody was in it at the time. We were both very impressed with how fast the situation was controlled. One worker went straight to the fire-extinguisher, while another jumped the fence, ran to the ticket booth, and told the lady to call the manager over. The manager was there in less than 20 seconds.While the place needs a new look and cheaper prices, we will likely go back.

Motor World is a ton of fun. I really really enjoy their mini golf course, its one of the biggest and nicest Ive seen. Certainly the nicest in the area. You can choose to play one of each side or you can do both which will take approx 1-2 hours depending on how many people are in your party. It is tons of fun.They also have go carts, a small arcade, and bumper cars.We took my dad here when he came to visit for a fun day and he loved it.They have some food on-site but its mostly like soda, hot dogs and fries and quick greasy things. Great for kids or on the go, but not a sit-down meal. So either plan to eat that, or you can eat before/after the visit.

Had a great time at this place during our time at Virginia Beach. We had a large group and we were easily able to split our group into two and ride each track in two trips. The ticket attendant was super nice and very accommodating. They sprayed sanitizer on the cars in between trips and had enough tracks to keep us entertained. Would recommend

I came to this place 9/20/20 and ride go karts. On a track someone was running into the back of people go karts. I drove behind my so he won’t get hit. On the last lap he ran into the back of me. He hit me so hard hit knocked my hat off. The staff never said anything nor took him off. I now have head and neck pain and have to to physical therapy.

Loved it! Highly recommend going on one of the tracks they leave open during a little rain. OMG it was the most fun Ive had in years!

We stayed in the go cart area. The park was dirty, the restrooms were disgusting. We paid adult prices for children wrist bands because they measured tall enough at the ticket booth but could only drive 2 or 3 tracks. We also had a 3 year old and there was only one operational vehicle in the whole park he could drive, should have had access to 3 tracks for his height. Before buying tickets we confirmed all tracks were open, they said yes. But they were not. Will only get a few rides in (maybe 3, 4 if youre lucky) for a 3 hour band. Cars that the kids could ride were broken down, out of gas, etc. I will say the staff were very accommodating, polite. Otherwise very disappointing. They also overcharged my card by $20. Would not recommend this place, find another activity! Not worth the money youll pay.

Motor World was a solid 4/5 in my book. I give it such a high rating because it was honestly such a fun time and the staff was really friendly and helpful from what I experienced. What kept this from a 5/5 was the fact that multiple karts experienced mechanical issues or wouldnt drive properly while they were being used. This, coupled with the somewhat high prices (for a larger family anyway), made me give this what I did.

Had lots of fun. Staff was nice. Gave 3 stars for the dirty park and over priced. There was serious garbage in the parking lot and all around the park. 5 rides for $40 was pretty steep for a family of 5. Took 3 hours for our group of 15. Very short lines mid weekday. Unlimited 3 hour riding was $60. Adult fast track was $23 for 6 minutes. We declined.

Slow cars, poorly maintained cars and tracks. Normally go to LeMans in Portsmouth, was expecting better since it was bigger here. Spent $240 for 3 hours unlimited. Never again. Leaving early, still have an hour left and just going to find something better to do. Just call Lemans and schedule a time. Cant give 0 stars, unfortunately.

Tried 3 go kart tracks. They are great. Some karr are faster then other. Watch one or two race to pick your ride.

My family & I come to VB every other year or so, this trip (this past week) was the 1st time we’ve ever went to Motor World. It will probably be our last. We raced four races (4 people) & they got in my pocket for $140 bucks. If the facility was nice & clean and the tracks & cars were in good condition I might be able to understand it, but they weren’t.... the grounds were poorly maintained & unkept (parts looked almost abandoned). The tracks we rode on were rough & poorly maintained. The carts were old, poorly maintained, & didn’t run very well. The bumper boats (tank) that are advertised on their pamphlets is empty & broken down... the two guys working the Cannonball track on Thursday were nice kids, very helpful & nice... my youngest son is 10 & this was his first experience driving the carts, he enjoyed that race, but for the most part the staff members were sour & unpleasant. They were also not doing a very good job sanitizing the carts, halfway would be a generous description of their efforts...

Machines are broken and still cost a $1 each to play. Park is extremely worn down & dirty. Staff is lazy & rude. Sorry not enjoyable!! SMH We drove an hour to come here and beyond disappointed.

Took my son here for an end of summer fun day. We had a great time. There were several people clearly just on the track to spin people out which the staff ignored (made my son a little uncomfortable) but all in all great time.

The Go Carts was fun. But the place need a whole make over. A little paint can go a long way. They charge $60 a person for the 3 hour wristband which is a little high but it’s for the kids. Broken down tracks, no water bumpers. If you can’t keep up the appearance or even pay for it then the owners should be in painting and making it look better!!

We spent two different afternoons here, and had a wonderful time. We bought the 5 pack of tickets, and enjoyed every minute.

Not worth the money. Don’t waste your time or money. Cars are trashy and the employees don’t care about their job... just horrible. Went 2 years ago. And came back today way down here. And also do not make employees wear mask or sanitize carts between guest...

Best amusement attraction in Virginia Beach. If the weather is nice on a summer day, this place is worth visiting. Each track is $9 per race or you can do 5 for $40. Drove three tracks and enjoyed it. They even have an arcade and kiddy rides for those not into go-karting. Definitely worth it & reasonably priced. I would strongly recommend coming if your in the area. Staff is super-friendly and nice.

Family and I had a fun time driving go carts. Place is clean and social distancing well. Masks required in lines and around crowds. Functioning as normal. Would recommend to check this place out. Employees friendly and accommodating.

There were only a few carts per track running. We had a group of 5, they would not add the 5th cart to keep us together. I saw the manager come up to 3 employees, put his hands on them, & pushed them apart in a forceful manner. That would have been my last day & a law suite filed. The 3 tracks we did go one were good. The atmosphere of the park is that of a junk yard.

Not impressed AT ALL. My family usually does a go kart place every vacation so we’ve been to plenty. This place looks like it was nice once upon a time but now has been let go. Run down. The track was cracked and bumpy. The lines were ridiculous. A lot of stuff wasn’t open due to the virus (which I get) but yet no staff was wiping off anything between riders??? The bumper boats weren’t open and the pool was GREEN and nasty looking. If I was the owner I wouldn’t want that eyesore in the middle of my park. This place was highly overpriced. Go to the one in Williamsburg. My husband and kids waited in line for an hour for the largest track on a Sunday evening. Glad we didn’t pay for the three hour arm band!!!! Not impressed with this place at all.

SO SO SO Much better and bigger and cheaper than the rides and close by the boardwalk! It’s not far away but it has so many rides in so many ways checks and it’s perfect! My daughters favorite ride was the little flying helicopters. My son drove on all of the race tracks! Definitely check out the family track, me and my daughter actually won yay!*tip We knew we were only going to stay for two hours, so we bought individual ticket instead of buying passes. It was half the price! However for a kid under the age of six, the $30 pass is worth it, because they can go on however many rides they want over and over. We went on a weekend night in July, End it wasn’t crowded at all, especially the kid area! (But this was 2020, covid).

This place is on its last legs only 4 or 5 carts per track that actually work kids had fun safety was not a big priority for this park as no restrictions were inforced please give the park some much needed TLC ..

Terrible place. All about the dollar. My kid is big enough for the adult price but not big enough for the ride? After being measured at the gate? Might get 3 rides in for the 3 hour wristband. Asked attendant to add more cars said no it was limited even though they had other cars ready. Kids rides are understaffed so if you pay for the kids wrist bands you are shorted even more. Signs up everywhere No Refunds. In the age of Covid 19 they hand you a wipe and dont spray down the cars. Nothing against the attendants they only do what management tells them. Rode first track had to stop every lap to show wristband or give a ticket. Whole point of go-karting is going fast and being first. If you are looking for fast cars or enjoyable experiences go elsewhere. Came a few years back on vacation really had fun but place has tanked since then. Long story short 300 dollars to stand in line for 3 rides not worth it. Spend your money somewhere else.

Way too expensive. And if only 5 tracks open they should have lowered the price. Not charge full price of $57.00 for each head since not all attractions are open. Even a 7 year old 180 for 3 people was totally ridiculous & we will not be going there again for nothing! Matter fact I want my money back

Its definitely good for children but there arent that many tracks to go on.

My family went here this weekend. We got the unlimited 3 hour bands thinking that would be a better value (they were $60 each so still very pricy) but we definitely didn’t get to ride enough rides to make it worth it because of the lines. The worst part was the bumper boats (the rides my youngest kids were most excited for) weren’t even running. Even though they advertised that they were. So we paid for something they didn’t even have. Lastly the drink machine was completely out of everything. And the bathrooms were HORRIBLE and completely out of toilet paper. This place needs a lot of work....

We had fun . Myself and 4 children. But the staff was Rude short and not friendly at all.. The benches are broken on the course. I sat down and the almost fell as the bench fell over . It didnt look clean. I would not go back

Course had some wet spots we had to navigate but the kids loved it still.

Everything is broken, prices are higher but nothing new is in the park. The cars need new alignment systems, need to be a little faster I mean literally there were cars moving like 5mp thats ridiculous. This park is older than me and Im 33yrs old and still see the same cars I rode when I was preteen. Food is good though but service is horrendous. Time to really make a change MOTOR WORLD..

This place was terrible. We used to live here years ago and it was so nice. We were visiting in town and took the kids here. The only thing they wanted to do were bumper boats. When we got there we found they were no longer offered. This wasn’t mentioned anywhere on their website. The mini golf water smelled strongly of urine and we lost 4 balls on the course due to broken holes that they got stuck in. The whole place just looked overgrown, run down and unkept which it shouldn’t for the price of things there. I would not go there.

Loads of fun! Prices are a bit steep, though thats expected at an amusement park. The park was clean and you could tell that the employees care.

Over priced & drove 1hr to this go kart track to drive a broken go kart. It would not turn right, & the guy came while I kept crashing into walls saying #16 has steering problems????Wouldn’t clean the water off the seats. Don’t wipe the go karts down. Waited 30 mins. Whole night wasted 7:30-10pm. Manager did not come when called, Thanks. They give out people’s full name at the end of the race on a sheet. Honestly felt in danger the whole time, scraped my leg badly from crashing so much, won’t be back. Worker couldn’t even turn my wheel back onto the track.

Place is pretty cool. I cleaned up on the figure 8 track. why its not five stars i because its really hot in summer and bottled water was 5 bucks and there is like NO SHADE but a good place overall

Plenty of different tracks for all ages. Price is fair and they do offer a 2 day 2 park pass to go to the Funpark off 17th st.

Yikes... poorly maintained and most things are broken down.Everything is overpriced and there’s a blatant disregard for safety.Two stars because I went with friends and had a tiny amount of fun racing them even though some of the karts are slower than others.It’s kinda like they try to make everything as unfun as possible.

Super dirty. Bathrooms were so nasty. Staff was nice. Lines were short. Concession closes before the park.

Great attraction for all ages featuring multiple different go kart cars and tracks,a beautiful large mini golf course, bumper boats (in the warmer season) and various other concession stands, games and small rides. Good prices and since its located right in front of ocean breeze waterpark they offer 5% off wristbands with an ocean breeze ticket.

I keep seeing comments how the young staff are rude. But every last one of the youngsters was rather decent to me. On another note, my son only 37 tall, so we had to do the grand prize where he rides with me. Car small, no love for the tall people who are 6ft, or larger in weight. Can definitely use some upgrading. And if your overweight and tall, dont even bother with these cars, especially if u have to drive ur lil one

I have gone to Motor World every year for the past 6 years and always had a great experience, however this time (June 2020) was a terrible experience. The park and bathrooms were disgusting, and looked like they were not being properly maintained. The snack bar was visually a mess. Many of the track employees were not paying attention to the riders at all, or were driving karts themselves and horsing around. The lines were also very long and all the tracks only had about 4 or maybe 5 karts in operation at a time.In terms of COVID-19, it appeared that very few steps were being taken to help mitigate the spread, especially given that the bathrooms didnt have any soap or hand sanitizer in them. It was a shame to see the park this way, especially since I had great experiences there over the past 6 years.

Certainly worth trying out if you live in the area or are on vacation. There is a fairly good selection of tracks. Good for all age levels. The park is old and outdated for close to $8 per ride. They could definitely use some new cars as well. Nonetheless I had a good time and was happy I checked it out for myself.

Decent carts but prices are not very good! A 3 hour pass is the most you can get and almost $58 a piece! In my opinion that should be for an all day pass but they dont offer that!

Thank you MotorWorld for being open during the COVID crisis. This Go-kart park has been around for quite some time and the lack of maintenance during the pandemic did show which wasnt surprising as most business are struggling these days. My kids and I had a good time and this was one of the few places where we can socially distance at an outdoor amusement park this side of the peninsula. In my experience today I found truth from other reviews, both good and bad. I hope MotorWorld can survive after the COVID crisis as this place provides employment opportunities for our youth and a safe way to get out of the house.I paid $180 for three - 3 hour wristbands for me, my 10 yr. old son, and 14 yr. old daughter to drive over 5 different cars on their own. My wife was upset because we get season passes with unlimited access for the entire family to both Busch Gardens and Water Country for $280 and thought $180 for 3 hours was a bit much. MotorWorld is great if your kid is 54 inches tall, as they can drive almost all the cars by themselves, and 3 hours in 100 degree heat with a mask was tolerable since we got there at 10 am even with all the Water rides being down for maintenance. I do recommend the staff step up the cleaning between rides, as the mist sprayer didnt cover all the touch points on the cars, and wipes would have been more effective and could have cooled the cars down a bit.For $180 a family of 4 should have access to Ocean Breeze and MotorWorld even if they are independently owned which might increase volume in attendance due to the proximity of both facilities as locals/tourist would make an entire day out of both venues and would probably eat on site to provide additional revenue and repeat business if correctly packaged. It would be nice if a venture capitalist group could acquire both locations and make it a joint investment to preserve the space, because I dont know how much longer MotorWorld can last in its current shape. $57 per person for only 3 hours of fun makes this too costly to do on a regular basis and hopefully a new pricing model can be developed because this is a fun place to bring your family and we enjoyed ourselves. I will seriously look into the birthday package, because it is well packaged, but would be nice if it had a 54 inch option for older kids as well.

It was super fun, some of the karts bog out a lot but it was worth the 50 bucks for an arm band.

So much fun, I was worried my 7 year old wouldnt be able to reach the petals but he could and drove so good even with adults driving behind him . we will deffinitly be back

Half the stuff dont work. The staff are all on different pages of what is going on and half are just standing doing nothing. They are not wearing masks or cleaning anything in between. No sanitizer stations anywhere. Bathroom is nasty. Worse place ever

Pay by the ride, dont waste your money on a 3 hour wrist band - there are only 6 tracks for use - two of which werent even staffed so we couldnt ride them. Left after 40 minutes. Wish i would have slept in and saved my money.

Went here for my sons 9th bday with my family while my 15 yr old nephew was on the track 5 employees watched another racer go the wrong way and wreck into my nephew. Asked for a manager and there apparently is not one. Then 4 employees wanted to try and fight my husband come to find out its nothing but minors running this clown show. Had to take my nephew to hospital and my sons bday got ruined. Will never come back to this place o and not one employees checked on my nephew or the other racer all they wanted to do was tell us to calm down. This place is a joke and no they never asked us to sign any waiver. Will never return

You can have lots of fun here but geez, 60 bucks for an unlimited bracelet to ride go carts!! Or other wise its like 7-8 bucks for single ride. They have a few tracks available. Was in town on vacation. Will not return again. Not affordable

Waited in line for about 45 mins to ride the go cart then they tell me I got to wait another 20 because they got to fill the carts up then they changed up and said they just doing 4 carts at a time

I good cheap option for locals or travelers. You can go on a fast go cart or a more tame type. There are plenty of other attractions in the same location (for a separate fee) but all in all a great fun experience for the whole family or for a small group or large group of friends. Ocean breeze and two mini golf courses are a short walk from Motor world. Also available are water bumper boats and a sky coaster the former being included in the motor world all access pass and the latter being a small up charge. But if you or your family is visiting or you just want a fun reasonably price local attraction this should be high on ones lost.

We really enjoyed out visit and were pleased with the different track options. There is something for everyone, even our six year old. We plan to return next trip to the beach!

Had fun. Would of been better if more folks where there to race against. Cant think of a reason why it wasnt busier. The tracks & carts where a ton of fun. The side by side options where the best part for my son & I. We had a blast!!!

We only played mini golf and the courses were a blast! However, we walked around and the next time we visit the area there is a great chance we will spend time riding the go karts as well. The park has a really cool design and is a good value away from the bustle of Atlantic Ave in VA Beach.

Customer service is poor. Employees act as though they are miserable working there. A decent amount of the carts were in disrepair when we visited, which makes no sense because the place had been closed for a bit due to covid... Seems like they would have taken that time to fix up all the carts.

The bands are worth the price. You will ride more than the tickets in the few hours.

Alot of family fun

Absolutely love it!!! Its not only just tracks for adults but they have tracks and things for kids to do. Me and my dad go every year when my mom is at work. Soon were going to bring my younger sister because shes getting big enough to use the kiddie tracks. I just love this place.

The gas smell of the go carts seriously gave me a headache. The go carts ride very rough, as can be expected given what they are. The one I was in, shut off and had to be restarted, with a pull cord, like a lawnmower. This place is better suited for kids, 7-13. We had fun but wouldnt go again until we have children, they would really enjoy it more than adults can/would.

My cousin went on one of the rides and he was riding. all of a sudden, one of the riders makes my cousin wreck. and 5 employees watched the rider go the wrong way and didnt say anything !! after we got the money back, 4 dudes want to try to fight my dad !! very unprofessional!!

Dirty, especially the bathroom & most of the rides werent working. The place looks abandoned.
