Had a great time here with friends, lots of guests were wearing masks and staff were sanitizing rides in between use. It’s a bit pricey for $25 for 2 hours of unlimited rides, however you basically get your money’s worth after 4-5 rides. No long wait times for rides at all and staff were all nice and attentive. 2 of the rides for 48” and taller were down and not working and the place is quite small and tight for walking. Easy walk from anywhere on the board walk and fun to go if you are visiting VA beach. Was a little bummed they didn’t have cotton candy or more food selection.
Worst boardwalk I ever went to. Many of the rides were turned off and the ticket seller completely misinformed me and many other people. Online it says that they’re open until 12. When I get there he says they close at 11. I arrived at 10:30 fully prepared to try and ride as many rides as possible unfortunately I only got to ride 3 and when 11 came nothing closed. Apparently the wrist band only works until 11 and they only accept tickets from then on. When I confront the ticker seller he basically shrugs and says that since people keep coming in they’re not gonna close and that he doesn’t make the rules. On top of that he kept selling wrist bands to people even though it’s past 11 and they won’t work. This man singlehandedly ruined my entire evening and swindled money from many people. Also, almost no one wore masks and it was very ghetto and dirty and the rides seemed old and unsafe. Will never come back and I would never recommend it to anyone.
A little dated, but Im not sure they could utilize the space any better than they did. The pricing was fair and Id say we got our moneys worth. Theres a good selection of kid oriented rides, so any grownups looking for something thrilling might be disappointed, but I dont think the kids will walk away unhappy. Would we come back? Thats a maybe, not because it wasnt fun, but because theres only so much to do.EDIT: So we did end up coming back here and had a very odd experience with a lost wallet that miraculously was found behind the water race carnival game booth buried under some toys. We certainly didnt put it there, and if were not for some very helpful security guards and other park workers we would have been up the creek (thankfully they had security cameras). It would be a shame to drop the rating because of the actions of a single park worker, because we did have fun here. But once that happened, and especially considering we had just forked over $20 to play the game moments before, we wont be back. We might be following up to see if charges have been pressed against the worker, though.
It was very small and the rides was very out dated to the point I know they need to be inspected to be honest. Were in the covid19 virus days and nobody had a mask on in such a small area altogether. It was was two ladies that let our son rides the ridea more then once and I want to thank them for being so kind. Other then that it was very hood and ghetto far as the atmosphere
My brother in law and I had a great timeHere. Staff is very friendly and nice. Prices are a little high but it’s worth it. The place is clean and very fun! I do want to add this in the review that I’m a plus size girl and I was able to fit on all rides except the high swing one due to them not having an extra seat belt to attach. They were so friendly about me not being able to fit and tried to make up for it offering refund. I just wanted to give anyone that’s plus size a heads up and don’t be Afraid or worried that you might not fit! Just have a great time!
We were there last night. I would like to thank. The whole attents for there checking to make sure everyone that rode the rides were safe. The ladies on the swing ride. Did a great job. My granddaughter was on the ride. They saw someone with out his seat belt on. And brought the rise down. Got him off. Let everyone get another ride up. Thank you ladies. Great job.
The rides are sanitize after every person. Some of the staff was nice and others were cold. We enjoy what they had to offer.
Nice place for kids and family. Decent prices except the price for a bottle of water
We did not get our money’s worth at this place. Our child was not allowed on some rides. Another one was down for maintenance. When we asked for our money back they did not granted our request. This felt like a scam and someone should police this establishment and get them out of this business.
Love those interesting rides. Its more fun and exciting.
There should be a discount for local families so we can go more often, in turn, being able to spend money while were there more often.
We visited VA beach for the first time. We enjoyed the park. The space was used up very wisely. The rides were sanitized after every use due to COVID 19. Ticket pricing was okay; there’s only so much to do.
Staff is wonderful!!! Officer on site so friendly...Great Fun for all ages...
Website says open, it’s definitely not.
Its small and very limited, however during these COVID-19 times they were sanitizing the rides in between rides which was awesome.
Opens at 4. Paid 25 dollars for a 2 hour wristband. Staff sanitized the seats between riders. Everyone was friendly. This place is a Virginia beach classic.
Don’t really suggest during COVID. We just walked around, but the view is adorable.
Had a great time I just feel it should be a little less if its under 2 hours
The park is located where its easy to get to. The people were all friendly. As carnival like places go, it was relatively clean. The rides seem well maintained. The down side is cost. The value isnt there. Most adult rides are $5.50 per person, kid rides $3.30 per child. Were rode 2 rides, spent $22.00. For me thats too much.
Lil expensive but the kids liked it and the people were really nice
It was ok spent alot of money only won candy tho lol I wanted a teddy bear
The hours are incorrect I went today and they were close. Even tho the website said otherwise
Took my kids here while on vacation. They did like it, the staff was good but dont expect a theme park. Its on a very small lot so dont expect Disney world. A little overpriced sure but kids will enjoy. At $1 ticket and most rides are 3 tickets to ride yes youll ended spending more than you thought but like I said its a quick stop for a little fun.
I kid loved it here you can see the Ferris wheel from really far away the prices are reasonable and there a lots of kiddie rides for our three-year-old. We will definitely be back also the games are relatively easy to win and you can get prizes almost every time
Small area wonderful for kids. Friendly staff at games stations & machines.
Rides were pretty much for kids. Nothing exciting really for adults.
Fun place with fair pricing on the tickets and the bull rider is only five bucks its worth it!!!
9 rides for 25 per person for 2h staff was great
Plenty of games and rides for children and adults to enjoy.
A nice little diversion.
Great place at night to spend with the kids. Great boardwalk right next door with plenty of shops and food!
This place is like a town circus that never got a gone One day at pulled up and set up just never left they do have that sugar ship when she called big bear whats that she had called the funnel cake thats it they do have funnel cake
Great park customer service sucks
A lil small but if u want to kill time its a good place to go. Great rides for 42 or more. Great young staff
Nice employees, but not a lot of attractions.
Had a great time but ticket prices are a little pricey.
Atlantic Fun Park no they dont have any roller coasters they have about maybe 10 rides all together and its really not worth your money. Your money is your want to do it for quick fun day but I wouldnt pay $35 for a wristband where I would rather just pay $35 to go to Busch Gardens have a lot more to see and a lot more to do so if youre just looking for something to do as far as a quick date or date night yeah thats your place to go as far as your children goes you might as well just take them to the beach and buy them some ice cream but outside of that the staff are very respectful they seem to be as clean as I can get course for an outdoor park and I mean you can have a great time here I did its worth it but its not worth $35
Vintage beach boardwalk fun! Love it!
I liked it. There wasnt a wait or anything. We really just went in for the ferris wheel and to cool down in the shade.
This is a simple small boardwalk amusement park. You have to buy tickets to use for the rides. This is a fun amusement park for kids 8 and under. My son loved it and ask to go back all the time.
Stays open late. We were surprised it was still open when we got there after a late dinner.
My husband and I rode the ferris wheel and it was so much fun! The people were very helpful as we werent sure what we wanted to ride first lol.
Nice small scale amusement park typical of boardwalks. Staffs are all nice. We bought tickets without thinking... the height requirements are a bit higher then your 30, 42 inches. They had more 36, 48 inch requirements so our short kids had some issues but did get our moneys worth. The games were pricy but for the little kids were a bit fair they got a very expensive small toy at the end. Got sick after the spinning ride and had to call it a day... Kids still had fun and the small winnings still made there night. For adults, well a bit pricy...
Small but great place for kids around.
This place is a tourist trap if Ive ever seen one! Between the broken English and the 3 minute rides.. youre better off dropping your money on the ground and hoping someone down on their luck finds it.
Very fun . Friendly
Fun little fair, right next to Virginia Beach!
The bathrooms are disgusting they make so much money they should up grade their bathroom really somebody needs to ASAP..
Really good place to have vacations with family and friends!
Rides felt very rickety and unsafe. The employees were kind of rude. The only good part was the bumper cars.
Nice cheap fun entertainment. The view from the top of the ferris wheel is wonderful. No admission price just tickets to ride the rides. Great date night idea for us to have a little fun and feel like a kid again together.
A bit expensive. The ferris wheel was $5 per person (for 3 rounds).
Small carnival close to oceanfront and the pier. Pay by the ride or by the game. Carnival atmosphere as well as prices.
Nice park with various ride options specially for kids. its open from noon till 12am.
Its the smallest amusement park I have ever seen. On the day my fam went staff was nice and even refunded tickets for a ride my child asked to get off of. Tickets were inexpensive but the amount off tickets per ride made the overall cost a bit much considering a parent will pay double in order to ride with their child. At the end of it all, my child was happy after about an hr or so of fun so it was worth it.
We visited VA Beach and we brought our 4 year old daughter here. It was nice but seemed like a traveling carnival more than a stationed amusement park. Bathrooms were filthy. Some if the people who operated the rides helped my daughter get on and off of them and some other couldnt care if she fell flat on her face. Prices were cheap enough for the rides and they have a few cheesy games with typical carnival prizes.
A good experience overall, it is fairly pricey, buuut loads of fun! However (speaking as a local) we arrived after 10 p.m. (the park closed at midnight)and the person selling tickets, arm bands and/or day passes didnt offer me or my family any type of discount. They could have offered a local, late night, disability or even a military. There was plenty of opportunity to extend personal touch. I was greatly offended that when given the chance to offer kindness they instead offered us up a hefty price!
Overpriced. Not that many adult rides. Ride attendants are not friendly.
Its a nice place to take your kids to have some fun and get away from the beach
Dingy old run down rides that looked like something out of a Stephen King movie
Views from Farris Wheel. Fun place
Claims to be open but is closed for season
Its a gun place. Unfortunately it is closed due to the Corona virus
Will be back again first time our rode a Farris wheel.
Best funnel cake
This was my first time going to Virginia Beach, so Im not sure what it was like in the past, but the boardwalk was not what I was expecting. I dont know if Atlanta fun park at one time might have actually been out on the boardwalk much like the Daytona Beach Boardwalk or the Coney Island Boardwalk or any of the number of other famous and Infamous boardwalks but it was definitely underwhelming. Atlantic Fun Park is a very compressed Amusement area, almost feeling like its being choked out of existence. There are definitely some rides you can take the little ones on and games to play, but not enough to keep the kids occupied for an extended period of time.
Super fun, we did the Ferris wheel and the swing ride. For three people on those rides cost around 25 dollars. A little pricey, but we had fun!
Everything is so close together. Its a small fair but rather expensive. The staff was not friendly. The ferris wheel is extremely old and rusty. Wouldnt trust it. Im sure its fun for little kids but no so much for adults.
Decent diversion. Definitely not worth the price for an all-use ride pass when 3 of the major rides are completely non-operational.
Too much fun highly recommend stepping foot in this place
Some rides werent open
As a local, I love having a fun little carny place to go kill time on a summer afternoon. Nothing beats the view from the Ferris Wheel to snuggle up to your loved one on a warm night and watch the lights.
Overall good fun place. Like most, they charge you per ride and its not cheap. The tickets arent too bad but were talking maybe 3-4 rides max. Its not the best place for toddlers. They were only able to do about 3 rides total. Overall a good place to come with a date and enjoy the boardwalk.
I see more concerns about the structural and cosmetic conditions of this place than I see in fun; please fix it up. Yall should know that Image is your most powerful tool. Knowing that time is money, and patronage count,(not just people count) is whats going to help make the financial quota, why not invest in assurance to increase the earning potential? Or just make it simple by demolishing it down to a parking lot? Weve got enough ugly to encounter at the oceanfront as it is.
It was OK. The kids enjoyed it, but they are also not the one spending $1.10 per ticket without getting a discount for buying tickets in bulk. There are just a handful of rides and games so dont expect to spend more than an hour here.
Nice idea, super creepy during the day
Pretty fun park for kids. Good amount of rides not big but the kids will enjoy
This place advertised a closing time of midnight. Their staff will continue to sell all inclusive tickets, all the while knowing they are going to close early due to being slow. Now you’ve paid enough money to ride all the rides but won’t actually be able to, because they’ll shut down early and sell you that ticket anyways.
STAY AWAY !!!! While visiting Virginia beach we came to this place. The first ride I go on with my 8 year old daughter was the ferris wheel. We go around more the 4 times then noticed something was very wrong. I asked if we could get off and was simply told not now theres a problem we continued to go around and stuck at the top numerous times. Going around again I asked please just take my daughter off. The answer I got was I cant right now at this point my daughter is hysterical crying and they told me there is nothing they can do. 30 horrifying minutes goes by and we safely get off. Traumatized but safe. I go for a refund as we bought two $60 bracelets for the night and was given nothing back. We only went on the one ride and it was traumatic. We left right after out of pure fear If you value your life stay away it is not safe and the staff is more then rude.
My kids had some fun. Probably because it wasnt crowded. Too small to enjoy yourself if crowded!
Its a fun experience, especially the Vertigo machine. The Ferris Wheel will give you a good view of the beachfront. The tickets are somewhere around $6 to $12 per ride.
Rides were decent, but tickets are extremely overpriced. Get ready to spend some money. More expensive than your average county fair. Kids had fun though, so call it a win overall.
Don’t go to this place. It’s a dump and very expensive. My kids wanted to do the rock climbing wall. At the ticket office its say must be 50-200lbs to climb. We get to the wall and they wouldn’t let them because they are around 50lbs. They guy at the wall said have to be 75. Well the other sign said 50. We went back and forth got a manager. And then this big women came out and said nope we cannot refund money. They were really rude and ignorant. We ended up selling the tickets and getting our money back so ha. Trust me don’t waste your money. The rides have not been looked at for years and I actually heard that from someone down that area.
A great place, especially for children or those young at heart.
I would give this place negative stars if I could. These rides looked like they hadnt been serviced in 20 years. It was all so dirty, rusty, and just plain junky. My kids, who love amusement parks, didnt even want to ride because everything looked so unsafe.
It was okay. The tickets were really over priced, and the rides were what you would expect from a smaller park. The most fun ones were the Gravitron and the bull ride. I think its fun to go once, but not more than that.
Fun place for a different experience .. lots of crowd and fun to be there
Great place for the kids to have fun. A little pricey but the hilarity was worth every penny! The big plastic bubble (not sure what its called) was so funny!!! And the workers were so polite and awesome at helping the kids have a great time. Well definitely be back.
Extremely expensive for the mediocre rides that are offered.Save your money and find other attractions. The aquatic center and pet farm are far better options.Pet farm is great option if youre on a tight budget.
My granddaughter Google the hours and to get there but you arent open. If its seasonal changes in the hours there should be a notice of the change. #Drove45minutes
Its fun everywhere and also they have variety of challenging games including some rides.
Small but good for kids and teens gives them something to do after the beach.
It’s downtown VA BEACH in the summer. Crazy crowds loudness and plenty going on. Almost too much. I wish I would have gone in the Ferris wheel but alas it was so busy cause it’s summer.
