Awesome park. Can get pretty crowded at times. Parking leaves much to be desired. My younger kids enjoy it more than my older kids I think, but the olders still have fun. No swings. But there is a nature walking area right next to it thats fun to walk. Also basketball, hop scotch, 4 square on the blacktop. Has a bathroom too, which is nice when youre in a pinch.

Cool park, lots of interesting and different toys to play on. My only complaint is that it is for 5-12 year olds (or so the sign says). It would be nice if they had an area catered to smaller kids. My 3 year old does fine, but needs some help climbing on some of the structures.

This is the very first park we found when we moved here from out of state and Im so glad we did!Pros: a different kind of playground, one for mainly bigger kids (3+) but so much fun to explore and use your imagination. My younger kid loved the sand area, especially with the added water feature. The musical instruments are fun too! Its surrounded by walking paths and lots of grassy areas to picnic or play.Cons: parking isnt very close. You can park at the elementary school or in the hotel parking lot, but if you have a young one, definitely bring a stroller.

Now that my 4 year old is more independent hes taken a liking to this park. They have many different play structures like a sand box and multiple slides that sit upon a fake green grass hill. Overall, this is a very family friendly park. Theyre currently building park restrooms on site and there is a wooden walkway built through the area. Only downside is there is no designated park parking for visitors.

As far as public parks go, this ones really well engineered. Slides, musical instruments, a hammock, sandpit, basketball court, and a tall mountain of rocks to climb. Bring a little piece of cardboard, and the whole astro turf hill becomes a slide. Great for kids 5-12. It is also right next to a big grassy area with ponds of ducks. I didnt see any restrooms or water fountains close by.

*Restrooms are being built as of June 6th* This is a great space for kids with all levels of ability. Its wheelchair and stroller accessible, paved paths to walk or ride a bike, many places to climb, slides, a hammock-like swing and xylophones. The sand and water area is a big hit. There is also a basketball court. Parking isnt super close nor very obvious. Hotel parking is subject to towing and the school next door is a closed campus while it is in session (as far as I can tell).

Columbia Tech Center Park17701 SE Mill Plain BlvdVancouver, WA 98683Overall experience: AmazingWill we come back: despite the 30-minute Drive, we will be coming back.Columbia Tech Center Park is a park that is described by my eight-year-old as nature-inspired. It has a playground, sandpit, Rock Mountain, AstroTurf slide, benches, musical instruments, bathrooms, basketball hoop, and unfortunately no swings or drinking fountain. The playground consists of two slides one of which was metal, rope Bridges, log balancing beams, and a log ladder. My kids enjoyed the AstroTurf Slide the best. Not knowing that this fun feature existed, my kids were fighting over whatever small piece of cardboard they can find. There were three xylophone like instrument to play. Doh being from a musical family, and fathers me that they were not traditionally set up. Though they are fun play. This went to sandpit is medium sized. And next to it is an old timey water pump. Although aesthetically pleasing, at this point is not functioning. There are two single stall family style bathrooms. They are pretty clean and well-lit. Unfortunately no drinking fountain. There are many sidewalks throughout the park, and a boardwalk through the more Wetland type area of the park. Although there are trees, I wouldnt consider it Shady. The trees are young and spread apart and I can see it being much shadier in the future. There is a smooth path leading to the top of the play structure. It allows access to at least one slide. There is also a path leading down to the sandpit. This is perfect for our handi-capable friends. We had a great time. And will be returning soon. The kids enjoyed it so much, they want to show Dad are cool new park.

My two year old son really enjoyed the new nature park in Vancouver! only down fall I didnt like about the park is that the slides were metal. Love that they also added a basketball court for older kids!
