Last winter we walked from the Fort side across, turned around just before the end. Plants were leafless, you could see quite a bit of the area.Late August, we walked from the river side up and over. It was very hot, little shade, and hard to see much. Its a lovely walk, but would prolly be more fun on a scooter or bike.

It was nice. I especially enjoyed the educational letters about local plants and the brief history of Native American trading culture; especially that of fishing. Aside from the loud highway, it was nice. Theres a large, open grass area nearby that looks great for small events with family or friends.

Is even more beautiful now than when it was built. The plants have grown in and filled the area nicely. Could use a little maintenance but over all

Ive driven under the bridge for almost a year every day to work and Ive always wanted to go. While it was hard to find at first when I finally did it was beautiful. Very nice and informative, what a great way to spend time with children and teach them about our area. Loved it!

Part of the confluence project installations designed by Maya Lin. Well worth a side trip if youre in the area. My thoughts while walking the beautiful bridge included a reflection of other notable pedestrian walkways, the paris coulee verte, the nyc highline park, and the BP Frank Gehry designed pedestrian walkway bridge in millenium park chicago. I am inspired by well designed public architecture.
