I always have a good time overall when I go to a movie theater. This place had great service when I went. Definitely a fun time!
Have to pay for parking. Best to use the dedicated parking garage across the street. Its only ~$1.50 per hour so its not so bad. Obviously the food is expensive but thats true for every movie theater. Good place to go see a new release.
Easy check in this time. They seem to be getting better and better with the Regal unlimited app.Good sound. Good picture. Quality seats
Great Cinema deep downtown. I will prices werent so high, but thats a modern theater experience everywhere. However, if you are a Regal Crown Club member, Tuesday movies are $5.55 and they have some cheap hotdog and popcorn prices! The staff are always cool and the place is always clean. Now all we need is for Hollywood to stop rebooting every movie from the 80s and have an original idea! Hahahaha
I would give this place several more stars if your website would give us more information. We were trying to find out the special prices during the week for movies, but, there are no listed prices on your site. Ive heard that Mondays or Tuesdays are $5 movies. Tried to find if this was a fact, but there was no information. Please put this on your website so that everyone can benefit from this, and not waste a lot of time. Thank you!
Nothing too fancy. Regular theatre. Concessions are expensive. Tuesday matinee tickets were great. Free parking validation. Staff is cheerful and kind.
Great staff and nice theatre! Also great deals on Sundays.
Very spacious theaters. Although Staff do work in a good time efficient manner.
My favorite local indoor movie theater. Every visit is exactly as expected. Professional, clean areas, projectionist work-sound, curtains, lighting, splicing previews well done. Theater seating areas with good security. Well stocked for candy, popcorn, sodas, etc. Very rarely a packed house during weekday matinees.
Good food, clean theatres. I like the pizza, pretty filling.
One of my favorite cinemas that I go to and see all the new movies in good quality audio and visual.
One of the older Regal Cinemas - seats worn, stained and not comfortable at all. Limited concessions. Popcorn was great, fresh not too oily or greasy. Parking is free after 4pm, which is good as street parking is limited. I would not pay full price for a movie here. Had free passes so not a big deal.
Pretty standard Regal, parking in the adjacent lot is free for theater patrons, which is awesome. They have you select your own row now which I also like because I can always use the metal bar behind the handicapped seats as a foot rest.
Its a good theatre. Recently saw Endgame there.... Other than me crying in the theatre... It was a good experience. Though I do not like the snack prices. Like... God damn. Am I buying a four course meal or some popcorn?? Ya know?
Nice place. Only been here once so far so I may have had an abnormal experience. The ticket and food lines were both short and quick. Service was polite and helpful.
Feels like a 90s era good quality theater. Which is average to unpleasant with todays standards in mind. Seats are not uncomfortable, but there are better theaters around. The parking is convenient and free which is nice for a downtown location. The only reason I go here is because its the closest theater, and if they upgraded like many of the other places Id go here every time.
Ever since AMC bought Cinatopia and there was no further reason to spend my hard earned money for inferior service and popcorn. Enter Regal Cinemas, specially the City Center Theater. Their popcorn is far superior, there service is pretty good (always with a smile) and good seats.
Went to a matinee viewing of the new Laika film, Missing Link. We were the only ones in the theater so it was pretty nice. Comfy seats. Clean restroom. Courteous people manning the snacks counter. Good experience.
First time there with a friend to watch Hobbs and shaw. Cant say to much about it yet, so far nice employees they were cool. The place look clean enough, the restrooms was clean too.
I enjoyed our time there. The place was very clean and staff was ready and available. Id love to go back.
Like this theater because its hardly ever crowded and small, not a lot of distance between movies! Clean, neat restrooms always! And its a little cheaper than all the rest!
Good place. Visited it a couple of times and still choose it.
Friendly service, clean theater, comfortable seats. Clean bathrooms. Easy parking a few minutes walk from door. Excellent experience will come agsin, very convenient to reach from Portland.
Dont under any circumstances tell anyone about this well kept Vancouver secret! Free and convenient parking, clean and well kept facilities, good, up to date sound, and friendly staff... But most important, dont tell anyone about the almost complete lack of lines. When we lived in Portland, going to a movie was a miserable trial. Finding affordable parking within walking distance, truly daunting lines, traffic, crowds, attitude, it was just, barely worth it. Regal City Center is rarely crowded, even for first run movies, you show up on time, get your ticket and go in and sit down. It amazes us every single time.The New Thai restaurant out front is pretty great too. Dinner and a movie with a minimum of fuss.;
Whoever thought that buying tickets for the movie at the popcorn counter was a good idea was dead wrong. Its an unnecessary hassle.
Always happy here.Update: Still happy here, Natalie? my cashier went above and beyond for me before my Sonic movie when I wanted to try your fantastic hot Cheetos popcorn but the fam overruled and we opted for regular Cheetos popcorn. I was displeased and she saw it in my face and gave me a tiny cup sampler. The kindness and joy to meet another hot Cheeto sibling at my fave theater. My husband later felt bad and got me what I wanted but she still did me a solid! Still love this theater. Looking forward to seeing all the new horror flicks of 2020.
It was nice. Had a good date night and the staff was helpful, nice, with a smile. Thank you.
I saw lion king with my 26year old son. It was really good.
This Regal Cinemas location is in downtown Vancouver and offers free validation at the parking structure across the street. This is very helpful to those of us who prefer not to mess with street parking, if given the option. The theater is clean and fairly comfortable, about standard for most theaters youll find these days. One thing I like to take advantage of is the discounted tickets all day Sundays (and Tuesdays). Pair that with all day Sunday happy hour at NomNom next door, and you have a great afternoon in the works.
First time going to this location. Saw Aquaman, which was awesome. I wish they had more than 2 people running concessions. Then again, I should probably give myself more time before the movie Free parking in the parking garage was nice.
Yes theater is now dead. I cant believe people still go. I went, Itll be the last time I ever do I think.
Nice theater, free parking in a garage across the street, clean restrooms, and they are always showing the latest movies.
Comfertable, clean, but to see 1 movie have a small popcorn w/ sodas....easily $40.00+So choose movie well !!
Comfortable seats. I was surprised that the movie that was supposed to start at 2:35 didnt start until much later, the time was filled with more previews. And the door was left open, putting a light on the screen. My friend finally walked to the other side of the theater to close it. As has become the norm, concession prices were ridiculously over the top. Is it any wonder people are choosing to watch movies elsewhere!
Still a good place to see a movie
Nice theater with good seats and a quality screening experience. Great location as well in downtown Vancouver - near restaurants, Cafes, and is e cream shopes. Parking might be an issue if its busy, so five yours I bit of extra time to find off street or pay for a spot at the garage across the street.
Great theater, would recommend as a great place to take friends/ family to see a movie.
I am beyond frustrated to come here and there is no one to sell tickets. You have to wait in the concussion stand to purchase the tickets. Meanwhile I see 1 manager standing around along with 2 employees. YOU HAVE TO BE JOKING!!! NEVER AGAIN! If you want to see a movie here make sure you have tickets in advance.
Always clean and quiet. I love being a loyal Regal Member and getting specials as well as getting my senior discount and AARP discount on a popcorn and a drink. Now I enjoy going to the movies again!
Not so much to say. Great movie theater. Kind of what I think everyone expects.Clean place, well maintained facilities and friendly staff. Good views to the screens.
Workers are very courteous and made our visit a good one.
Its a new but typical theater with outrageous prices. Nothing over the top special. So I say four stars with room for improvement.
Only thing missing was a season your own popcorn station. Very nice staff. Clean. And when we were there, pretty empty. So that was great.
I came there with my client and his family, my first time there and we watched the new Lego Movie.... It was clean, the staff was nice and the sound system was amazing
Place is great. Located in down town Vancouver, it offers free parking and a large ticket booth so no long lines. After your finished or before you go to your movie there is an awesome little Indian restaurant and bar located right next door. Look for the library if your having trouble finding it.
It was pretty cool to come to that showing with the invite of All-State. I am truly thankful for the opportunity to be part of that and what it meant to me personally.
This place is pretty great. It has easy access for people with wheelchairs or scooters and has free parking in the garage across the street. Tuesdays and Sundays the theatre has discounted tickets (only $6 or so to see a first run movie). The theatre is pretty well maintained and the staff is friendly! Its reasonably close to some good eateries so dinner and a movie is made easy.Only 4 stars because in the past Ive had garbage in the aisle (only once) and some of the chairs have seen better days.
We go on Sundays early matinee $5 a person. They have points rewards. The place is well maintained, very clean. However a hit dog, small popcorn, small soda just under $20.
Great place to see movies! Sometimes not enough snack employees. Way too high priced snacks!!!
Love this theater...they are the only ones around that served unsweetened iced tea...the workers are nice and we love this theater. And they do cheap tickets on Tuesday and Sunday.
This is my go-to theater in Vancouver. Clean. Decent prices. Well managed. Having parking spaces reserved for movie goers right across the street in the parking garage is really nice for being downtown.
No air conditioning in theatre tonight. Made for an uncomfortable and unpleasant movie experience. Told the manager and didnt even get an apology. This was one of our favorite places. Will be trying others in the future.
Good location, free parking, clean facilities, courteous service.
You know this theater has really cleaned its act up the new management seemed to take care of the place this time it was an enjoyable and wonderful experience allectus forward to seeing it continued to be clean..
Is fine if you just want to Watch a Movie. Skip the Popcorn and Drinks. That costs more then the movie. Over 5$ dollars for a bottled water! Come on, that bottle of water is less than 2$ at any other place.Bring a big purse and stash your own water and candy. Or you will go broke buying at the theater.
Living across the river in N. Portland its a quick drive to City Center. Parking is easy and this place is always clean with no broken seats.
Not too crowded. This is my Plan B theater when other theaters closer to my house are full. NEVER as crowded as the other theaters. There was a line outside of Regal 99 on Hwy 99 to see Avengers Endgame, and no parking. So I scooted over to Regal City Center and there was a very light crowd. Arrived 10 minutes before the show, no line, bought popcorn, then found a great seat in the middle of the theater with elbow room on both sides beside me. Lighted parking garage across the street where you park for free if visiting the theater. A little hard to find if first visit with all the one-way streets, so its best to plan in arriving a bit earlier than usual in case you get turned around once or twice.
Normally I love going to this theater, but had an unfortunate experience there last week. My daughter and I were extremely let down by the lack of customer service we received from the employee who took our money, the manager (Im assuming because he was wearing a blazer), and the clerk who sold us concessions. If it was slammed I could maybe let it slide that all three of these employees were borderline rude to us, but the fact that we were pretty much the only customers there, I could not wrap my mind around their conduct. YOU CHARGE INSANELY HIGH RATES FOR THESE MOVIES, the least you could do is be friendly in the short amount of time that you interact with the customers. Additionally, I wouldnt have felt the need to review the experience, but when the manager clearly has no clue how to be cordial with customers it is a problem. I feel conflicted because I have had many great experiences at this theater, but honestly, based this experience with this group last Wednesday (1/23/19) I will probably make efforts to take my business elsewhere. BOTTOM LINE, CONSIDERING THE OUTRAGEOUS PRICES YOU CHARGE, YOU NEED TO DO BETTER WITH CUSTOMER EXPERIENCES. (I still gave 2 stars because the movie was awesome!)
Theatre was very clean and employees were extremely nice. Enjoyed the movie, soda, and popcorn.
I paid $25 in concessions and could not get a regular size cup of ice water. Dumb policy. I would understand if I wasn’t buying anything else. That’s fine. I’ll just bring my own food and beverages from now on if I go to a Regal Theater. Tried to be honest and pay your ridiculous prices but you screwed me... Not sorry.
Would definitely come back, have been coming here for 5 years
Came here for a little date with my nephew. I was using a promo from the Regal app where I got a free ticket. The young man at the front saw I had a free ticket and gave me a second one for my nephew! So very kind!! I had the money to pay for the second ticket but he just threw it on for us. Great guest service!!
Theres free public parking for the cinema in a parking garage across the street.
I love how its never really busy. I like having a theater all to myself!
This is a very good, generic theatre. Nothing special here -- its a standard franchise movie theatre. Snacks are amazingly expensive and not noteworthy, but personally I dont mind buying them to support the place.
This is the worse seating out of all the full priced regals but they have 2 discount days. And I always go on the discount days. Theres also rarely long lines in those days. Sounds bad but when youre on a budget its great. Sunday is $5 ticket and Tuesday is $5 ticket and free small popcorn for regal members.Staff is usually pretty nice and the popcorn is surprisingly usually fresh.
My wife and I usually see movies at this theater. Things are generally clean and not too crowded. They have some days with special prices. There is a free parking garage across the street that usually has plenty of parking.Popcorn is pretty good, I usually get my large tub filled up on the way out.Stadium seating is pretty comfortable and the theaters are always clean. I do wish that an attendant didn’t check emergency exits 2-3 times every movie.
Love the place a lot. Great service and love taeir Cheetos popcorn
Despite making all their money on concessions, they understaff theyre concessions counters with pretty rude folks. Its an alright theater, show up 20 minutes in advance if you hope to buy anything.
Nice and clean. Does not seem to have people kicking your seat or yelling and talking loud.
I love this theater. Its convenient with convenient parking garage almost caddy corner that is free on Fridays/weekends.
I had purchased tickets for step daughters birthday for 3d performance of a movie. Unfortunately the projector had issues and the movie time was cancelled. The theater management more than compensated for the issue and got us into the next show we could make. The snack bar employees were awesome and made us feel like VIPS. We definitely appreciate the effort. We are having a great time. Will come again for sure.
Great free covered parking across from the cinema. Great selection of movies to choose from. Food ok, and expensive, which is typical. Seating is alright. Bathrooms are big and well serviced. Go early on weekends for discounted prices.
The workers were great but honestly we paid over $30 to take our 3 year old to movie that started at 4:15 pm which I consider to be matinee time. We could have a lot more fun for the same money elsewhere.
Clean theater and concessions are reasonable. Valid parking across the street.
My daughter brought me here for my second time on Mothers Day. I love the fact that both times it was not overly crowded. Very clean, huge bathrooms very clean and all working parts! You know what I mean. Toilets, air hand dryer, soap, the whole works all working. No lines in the bathroom. Hot as blazes that day but nice and cool inside without freezing a person. We saw A Quiet Place never jumped out of my seat so many times! Great film and a great time!
Good movie selection, temperature if the place is great. Where to buy tickets and show people them can be a little confusing. Place smells of old building and the seats are far from modern.
Basic nice Theater.. Nothing Amazing, but kept clean and kept up.
This is the most relaxed theater in the area. Usually not overly busy here. Good seats can be found without going super early. I like it.
Love Tuesday and Sunday specials! Popcorn and nacho deals on Tuesdays is excellent.
I saw Toy Story 4 tonight and loved it!
Love going to see a movie at this particular theater theres always plenty of parking its never over crowded and the staff has always been friendly its always been a great experience its always my first choice for going and seeing a movie
It was very busy and felt understaffed because it took a long time to get through the concessions line. The theater was clean and employees were friendly and helpful.
Theater was fine and 50% popcorn Tuesday was great. A little trouble with ordering a medium popcorn. The new gal behind the refreshments counter somehow heard medium as large; it took 3 employees 7+ minutes to fix.
The manager at the ticket desk was really snappy when I asked if my movie tickets I got for Christmas were valid there. He scoffed at the idea. I didnt mind paying for the movie, but he didnt have to belittle me while asking a question. I didnt even want to buy popcorn. Like, if thats how the manager acts, other staff must be like that, too. Kinda ruined the movie, I thought about that interaction the entire time.Other than that, I freakin love those lounger chairs. 10/10 for comfy seats, 3/10 customer service.
Not far from our hotel so we gave it a try Sunday night. Comfy seats and good selection of snacks. Parking garage is located kitty corner across the street or try to find a spot on the street.
This its my go to theater to see movies when I forget to grab a ticket for the theater closest to me. No frills, just tucked away in downtown Vancouver but they always get every new movies out. It helps the crowds arent huge like at other places in the metro area.
One of the mellowest first run movie theaters in the Portland metro area. It seems to rarely be busy, its fairly new, and its close to lots of good restaurants in downtown Vancouver. Not bad for a Regal theater.
The actual movie experience was pretty good. But ruined by 2 poorly behaved kids. My girlfriend had to go and get an employee to get them to settle down. I will tell you to definitely sneak your own snacks in. They charged me $18.30 for a small pop, small popcorn and a bag of candy. Buy the same stuff anywhere else and its under $5 for everything. This is on top of $31 for the movie itself.
I love the movies Tuesdays and Sundays are half off all day and the parking garage is free card free from Friday at 4:30till Sunday@ 12:00 midnight
Really nice theater. Very clean. Comfortable seats. Great customer service.
Generally quiet. Always clean. Good parking. Our favorite movie theater
This place has the best senior prices in town. My go to for the latest movie. They also show some of the less heard of movies you wouldnt see at other theatres but are great entertainment
Comfortable seating and fresh popcorn! Good choices for a date night.
They really need to cut back on the previews. We watched Ford versus Ferrari which is already a long movie. We had to sit through 30 minutes of previews. After the first 20 minutes, I was ready to leave.
This movie theater seems a little old and run down but with that said the movie queen was awsome....man I miss the 1980s they were so much fun
Very disappointed that this theater has now deployed reserved seating. Movie theater seating should be first come first served.
Nice theater in downtown Vancouver.
