I miss going to this theater, it will be nice to get to go to the movies again.
It was nice and clean, the sound in the theater room was good, the movie played well. the only thing I did not like was the wait to buy the movie ticket, take it I did not buy it online yes, but they should still have a dedicated line for movie tickets, yes it was a night time showing, but selling tickets and the snack at the same register..... plus movie tickets are expensive now!
This used to be an easy place to catch a movie. Not so much anymore. They have a new process, where you have to go through concession stand to purchase tickets. I get trying to boost sales, but not at the cost of my time. Most likely wont be back.
Why do they even have a refill sign if they dont check there. I stood there 10. Minutes. Missing my movie. I tried flagging people down. I spent a total of a half hour after I went to stand in the concession line to get the refill. There was a man named Gale. He was wearing a suit that works here. He made it sound like it was all my fault that I had to wait so long. Yup. I just enjoy standing around missing my movie I paid for. This was my worst experience at a regal ever. I will not come back here even tho it is my local theatre.
I dislike choosing seating and paying at the food court personally. New owner, modeling the European theatre I was told by a patron. I also did not enjoy the speakers being blown where we sat and the theatre was very cold inside. And potato chip popcorn is bomb however not when you get a chip in the popcorn I did not request. Food is overpriced for the place. A remodel would be appropriate. Also the staff who was very accommodating and friendly does not seem happy genuinely. Will this be one of those totally run down theatres soon? Or will the new owners step up for their patrons some of who subscribe to a monthly fee for unlimited screen time hmm?? Which way will it go? I hope they do step up.
Had to wait in long popcorn line just to buy tickets for a movie tonight. They should have a separate place to buy tickets. What if someone doesnt want food? Otherwise I love this theater.
Consistently kind and courteous staff. The closest thing to a struggle at this location is when they are training and the newbie is still learning. The seats are comfortable and the sound system is aces. They dont have a very large menu, just snacks. So dont go expecting a super dinner but you can count on fine popcorn and cold soda.
Big auditorium. Was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a long movie. Not sure about reserved seating, but it seems everywhere is going this way.
Awfully uncomfortable seats... Please update your seats and Ill be happy to come back... Such a great location and the staff is friendly. Definitely makes up for the seats, however, given I dont go to the movies often, Ill choose another theater with more comfort for the cost in the future. Sorry.
Below average theater. Went to see Star Wars, the movie was listed as starting at 9:15 but didnt start until 9:46. Sitting through 31 minutes of ads is not okay for something we are paying to see. Seeing some movie trailers is expected, but they played actual ads! A car ad and three of their own ads are mixed in with the movie trailers. If you do come here, show up 20 minutes late, youll probably be right on time.
Great locale. Good seats. Cant get past the corporate expectations.
Totally hate the new system of paying for tickets at concessions and reserved seating. Not everyone wants food. We like to arrive last minute and get in. We were monthly movie goers but now we haven’t been since Endgame. Have to drive across town to a non-Regal theater. Hate, hate, hate new system.
19 dollars for two tickets isnt bad, its your typical moviegoing experience. If you live in the local area, definitely a good place to see new movies that youd like to go to. Only down a star due to concessions cost, but what movie theater isnt ridiculously expensive in that regard?
The movie like a boss was boring from start to finish. No pointto it at all. Not funny in any way
My two boys and I go there at least once every two weeks. Great place to enjoy a movie But if they lowered the prices at their concession stand they would actually probably make more money due to more customers but when a bottle of water cost more than their icees theres something wrong...
Good clean theater, but wow that popcorn must have come from the moon for almost $10 a bag.
New way of buying tickets, inside on a machine @ concessions. Pick your seat, pre-ordered. Be aware, Eye exam. To small, of seat#s. Bring your readers!. I passed . . W/out my readers on! Lol .loved star wars!
I loved watching jumanji...I dropped my popcorn on the floor. I started picking it up a young boy sitting in front of me got out of his seat and started helping me pick it up...That was priceless
Perfectly average movie theater. Sound in the theater I was in was set up wrong, there was no audio from the left side. Otherwise the seating was comfortable and the absurdly overpriced concessions were doled out by friendly-enough employees who work too hard for what theyre being paid.
The best thing about this cinema is that you have a chance to comfortably watch the movie without a huge crowd of people, almost in private mode. Nice staff and you can always refill your big bucket of popcorn for free
Went on a Saturday around 1:30. It wasnt very busy at all. The staff was friendly and the facility was very clean. My four-year-old son even complimented on how clean the bathroom was compared to other businesses that we have been too. The theater itself was very clean and not crowded at all. I will definitely go back to this location.
Great picture, great sound, comfy seats. PLUS I chose a picture which had been on for awhile--and a matinee. So there was only two of us in there
The employees were very friendly and helpful. Seats were a little cramped though. Adequate parking was available.
Our tickets were purchased online at the wrong theatre, and they called and got our tickets changed to the correct location. Didnt miss a preview. Great customer service, popcorn, candy and drinks.
Its a movie screen theater, im spoiled by their competitors food service and not a fan of assigned seating. Almost want to ask them for a window seat with peanuts and a cocktail delivered... Maybe they could throw in a small receptacle bag for all the cookie cutter movies flooding their big screens these days? At least there is no stand by or pre-boarding lines!
Really nice movie theater. Has lots of theaters available. And easy to navigate to find your movie.
They sold me the star wars popcorn and cup stating I could bring it back for a free refill. Came to watch a movie today and as soon as I walk in the door they say they cannot refill them. I filled out a detailed comment online. The manager investigated the incident, called me and communicated what he found out, and resolved the situation to my satisfaction. I appreciate that he cared about my experience to follow up with me as well as caring about his business and use this experience to coach his staff to improve customer service. Thanks Neil.
Great staff, The manager was very accommodating. Just need to work on the concessions area ( unprepared food)
Not a bad theater, but the seats are very small
Nice place and have a new way of paying for your ticket you go and pay at the food stand
Nice, large theater. Easy to find location. Even though me and my friends went to see a popular move (avengers endgame) we were still able to easily find enough seats. Even though there were a lot of people buying popcorn or whatever, the staff still seemed on top of it.
Staff is friendly. The theater is clean. I had an infant with me and a gentleman working there notices that I was missing a significant amount of the movie and let me know that they would be willing to provide me with a complimentary ticket because I didnt get to watch my movie. While going into, I knew Id miss most of the movie and it is not the businesss fault, i thought that was a very sweet gesture.
Manager Laura L. went far far far and above to take care of every aspect of our visit. She was exceedingly knowledgeable on how to access my plethora of points and use the oldest ones first. She navigated the app on my phone and took care of purchasing the tickets and buying the popcorn. God bless her! She then met us at the door because Im in a wheelchair and personally took us into the theater and helped me up all the stairs and to the center of the theater so I could sit in my favorite seat. Because my foot needed to be elevated, she decided to tape a reserved sign to the seat in front of me so that I could prop my cast-covered foot up on the seat without bothering any other guests. She never failed to have a happy smile and loads of patience and a willingness to see if there was anything else she could do! Besides hospitals and doctors appointments, this was my first outing since surgery and it was a stunning success! We are very, very grateful for Laura L. Hugs and kisses to you, dear Girl!!!Thank You Regal Cinema 99
Really appreciate your staff for being there on Thanksgiving!
Pick your seats is kinda neat. Staff is nice decent theater
Clean friendly and not busy at all.
Tuesday discount is great but seats are really tight for full size adults .
Great theater that is rarely packed. Better popcorn than city center.
Afternoon matinee, few people, sat wherever we wanted ... My only complaint is the sound volume. Especially with few people in the theater, the sound almost echoes cuz its so loud. Good movie though (Hobbs & Shaw).
Just okay. Dont like paying at the food place. Hste the reservrd seating! Not needed! Comfortable seats
Well kept, clean theater. Bit pricey, but worth it. Watched a movie here during noon hour and again in the evening to watch kid movies on a Sunday...it was never crowded or even 1/4 full in the show room. Pizza was undercooked, but everything else was good. As always food prices were astronomical. Cashiers were friendly and helpful.
I hate the new system of paying for tickets at Concession. I hate the new system of selecting seats for movies. Ill just stay home and watch if this is what it has become for everything.
I like the movies here but there bnb is always a line and the cashiers are very inept. Like middle school dropout status. But they try hard and I love them for that
I’m giving a one star today because of the lack of acknowledgment from your staff. I have come to this theater for many years I’ve never had any problems. The staff has always been very considerate and so I’m very surprised at the behavior today. I find it interesting that three days ago there was another poor review from a lady that got locked in the theater and of course no response. We came today to see the 1 o’clock showing of Shazam. There was a sign to go inside to get your tickets unfortunately the doors were all still locked at 12:30. As I knocked on the door the staff looked up behind the counter and looked back down and continue to do what they were doing. A man walked by me at the door and I knocked on the door again he looked at me made it kind of funny face and continue to walk away. I saw two ladies and I’m presuming one of them may have been a manager? The one was the ticket agent I recognized her. Neither would look at me. I knocked on the window again and there was no acknowledgment. I could see that they looked like they were coming towards the ticket with office. No one came out. When they did finally open the doors I went in to tell them what I thought about being ignored. Nobody cared. I am very disappointed to say the least.
Not my closest cinema, but the most convenient to me. This theater has been here for while a long time, but with the occasional remodels is kept up with nearly the state of the art
Wonderful place. Nice staff. Great popcorn.
We like going to this theater because we live in North Portland and driving up to Regal 99 to avoid traffic in Lloyd Center. Its always clean and never crowded either.
Not packed fresh popcorn good movie friendly staff
Got the unlimited deal. Great deal and nice theater.
Last night I went to the movies to see Shazam I haven’t been to that theater or any theater for years now the actual movie began at about 7:40 PM I enjoyed the movie I sat through the ending credits there was a cute little goldfish scene at the end of the credits and immediately at that time all of the lights went off inside of the theater so I had to wait until my eyes focused in order to see where my purse was and I have to feel around for my cell phone so I could use the flashlight on it after a couple minutes I was able to find the phone turn the flashlight on if on the rest of my belongings and proceeded to walk out carefully it was pitch black dark I got to the door and walked out the door everything was pitch black dark there were no lights on anywhere in the building I was able to find my way towards the front and it was pitch black dark it was scary I was the only person around in the movie had just ended as I was approaching the doors to try and figure out how I was going to get out of that place I saw two people and I started talking to them to let them know that I was a customer and I got blacked out inside the theater unable to see because they turned off all of the lights and I was still there I am a senior citizenNight vision in dark rooms are not the best scenario for me I was fortunate enough to figure out how to turn the flashlight on on my smart phone which I had never used that app before or maybe that’s a feature I don’t know anyway I did find it how could they not check and see that people are inside before they black in the entire building I feel that if I had taken any longer I would’ve been locked in the place and no one would’ve known about it
Very kind employees. As with pretty much every cinema now a days, tickets are extremely expensive, making this a huge treat for our family of 5, and only for very special ocassions. Between tickets, and popcorn+pop, its almost $80. Big no no for those of us who watch our spending, and dont use credit cards. Its a gigantic turn off for us, and makes us turn to buying or renting movies 90-95% of the time. Other than that, our experience here is always good. Its clean, and their customer service is pretty good. We rarely go to the movies, but when we do, we always go to this location. Would recommend this cinema to others.
Pre-show presentations were kept at a good level (not too loud).
The theater was clean and the staff friendly. $40 bucks for two Adult tickets, Medium popcorn, and large drink. Plan accordingly.
Too my daughter to see a movie. Wee bit loved it. It was very crowded, but the Employees worked Fast.
Very good service, manager is very helpful..
We love going to the movies but have had some bad run ins with teenagers who think it’s funny to yell during the whole movie, and even had someone blow huge vape clouds that made the whole room smokey, definitely not the theatre’s fault they have made it right for us before by giving us a few free movie passes if we cannot stand to sit through a movie with jerks trying to be funny when everyone else is trying to pay attention to the 12$ movie we are paying to see
In about a year since Ive been in the theater to watch a movie. The cinema is always clean their always nice very cordial people enjoy the environment that they give out there. Best movie Ive ever seen on the edge of your seat scary majorly. The nun
Nice if not small. Service is friendly but at times less effecient than desired when purchasing concessions before a movie. Overall, a nice ace to watch movie.
Great and friendly staff! This theater is always busy. I do wish there was a Hot Case of food though. Can you imagine.... 1 lb of Jo-Jos please. Oh, and 2 chicken strips please. 1 BBQ sauce and 1 Ranch. Small Sprite, no ice please. Id gladly pay $20 for that kind of theater food goodness!!! Im kinda of tired of the popcorn and candy thing. Its a start with the Hot Dogs, but its time to step it up! Oh, and pizza by the slice. Make it Vegan! ;-)
Great place very clean. Bathroom stalls very narrow.
Movies are super over priced these days. That said, the service was good and the popcorn much better than it was last time I went. I sort of quit going to regal cinemas because they were always dirty and the popcorn full of toothbreakers. Glad to see its improved. My feet didnt stick to the floor and the bathroom was clean.
Nice theater, comfy, and various movie times to choose from.
Gotta tell you, Im not impressed at the moment. Sent my daughter and a friend there to see a movie. They got there and were told its not showing at this theater. I checked and its listed on Regals own site, Fandango and IMDB as showing there. I called the theater twice to inquire ... the phone rang at least 20 times and then disconnected both times. No answer, no voicemail. Very strange. Ive been to this place many times. Its an ordinary theater ... nothing special but usually fine.
Nice space with friendly staff
I love that the theaters here are cool.
I like it here staff are friendly and well maintained theater
Close to home, easy to get to, discount Tuesdays are always awesome, and the staff are really friendly.
Employees were nice and a good movie.
Usually clean and quiet. Get there early during peak movies to get through the lines and good seats.
Love this location for the staff and great customer service! The movies are on a big screen and clear and the sound is good too. The parking can be a challenge because everyone seems to come here at the same time, but thats awesome! You can find your neighbor enjoying the same movie!
Love the new unlimited ticket.
Plenty of parking, easy to get in and out of; fairly close to freeway access. Staff typically friendly and efficient. Facilities clean well maintained and the most important it has stadium seating.
Regal Cinema 99 is always a nice place to go to good popcorn good pop nice pictures!
Really pretty inside lots of fancy lights and stuff. Nice seating. Overall great experience. I went to see spider man homecoming with my brother. It was a great movie! Would recommend
It was a great escape from reality
Have never liked the seats here. Seats looked new, but they were way to low, almost sitting on the floor and no reclining. Also there was no sound for all the commercials (the 20) minutes before the movie. Regal ses to be sliding on their quality
Saw Star Wars on christmas and used the Fandango app so I didnt have to stand in line.
Good size theater, very clean. The restroom was clean and comfortable as well. Nice staff
Our favorite local theater. First choice when deciding where to watch.
Great Atmosphere, friendly staff, and clean theater seats. A wonderful place to watch a new release or one thats been out for awhile (to avoid the New Release crowds. Highly Recommended.
I went to see The Nun. my experience was really good! The lobby and theater itself was clean and the bathroom smelled like it was recently cleaned. The ticket price was $12 but thats to be expected because they play new movies. I would say my only negative experience was that the group of people behind us talking throughout the movie and their phone even went off, twice! I just want to remind people to be respectful of other movie-goers and silence their phones. At least put on vibrate nothing ruins a movie more than a phone going off during a horror movie.
Nothing special. Just another expensive theater
The theater is clean and now you can get your tickets and seat assignment on line. The also have a deal that costs one flat fee for the month and you can see as many movies as you want as many times as you want.
Everything was clean. Was easy to get my ticket. Staff was courteous for the most part.
Love this place. Always found it to be clean, good selection of current movies, some games for the kids and fairly comfortable seats as well as great sound with a crisp picture. We enjoy the experience each time!
Great customer service. Horrible food. Small screen
Love this specific theater. Friendly staff. Clean. Fun!
Took my little 5 year old to see the Shazam! movie here. He loved it, the prices have increased since my days ar the theater but he still had a wonderful experience with his snack pack, and Watermelon Sour patch candies. Also, Shazam was AWESOME!!!!!
It’s fine. I am just one of the MANY people who believe YOU guys should quit charging SOOOOO MUCH for movies! Absolutely ridiculous!
This is my go to movie theater when I am in the area. It has rocking chairs in the back couple rows, which is nice, though all of the chairs are comfortable. The service at the front is quick for a cinema. One of my favorite things is the $5 movies on Tuesday nights.
Escape from reality with a great movie, popcorn and a soda.
Going to the movies, a reminder of simpler times. Glad to see in the highly competitive future with streaming internet options and Cody excetera that Regal is doing their absolute best to still hire teenagers and not keep their movie prices cheap oh and good news its like 12 bucks to see a movie now I remember seeing movies for $3 Im not that old
Great prices good. Good staff. Decent seating
My parents used to take me to regal Cinema when I was a little kid and I always enjoyed my time there. since then I grew up and I didnt really go to the theaters that often things have drawn me back to it is close friends in my fiance. Ive been typically going to cinetopia since then but with their current issues as well as this theater being very close to some of my friends Ive actually gone to it a couple times to see detective Pikachu and then the Godzilla movie.I have to say that for theater its actually quite excellent the quality difference between it and something that a gxl isnt significant enough to dismiss regal entirely. Well their concession stands is pretty pricey I would still say that this is an excellent place to go to especially if his nearby and the staff is genuinely friendly.I just hope the owner has considered getting a gxl theater pretty soon it would be a worthy investment and I would drive in a bigger crowd.
As I know everyones experiences is different, took my family to the movies where we saw two different movies. My self and youngest saw Aladdin, I was disappointed in the movie previews as we saw the same preview twice for a couple movies. Then when the movie started the lights stayed on through the whole movie, which made it hard to see some of the darker seens. However, the theature was clean. Consestions where prices as normal, though I would have like to see one of the many screens show a combo meal list.
Saw Ant-Man and The Wasp here. Not my usual choice of theater and I sure wont be revisiting it again. First of all, parking was horrendous. Yes, It was a Tuesday. But nobody knew how to park. There was at least 5 or 6 cars parked over the line or in two different spots just because. The second thing was when I got into the theater, was waiting in concessions. My boyfriend was waiting in line far past when the movie started because the cashiers did something wrong and tried to have him check out with cash and it was a huge ordeal. Then when I got into the theater to find us seats while he was in line for concessions, there was barely any seats. The woman in box said it was half full. It did not seem half full. More like mostly full. So finally my boyfriend gets in to sit down beside me clearly annoyed at the service. He hands me my pretzel which is cold. And later I find out the person that cooked his food kept opening and closing things to put/pull items in and out which makes things take longer to cook which is why he missed the beginning. Also, he had asked the person cooking if anyone was using the oven to guesstimate how long it would take if he ordered food (since he is a regal employee he knows) and they told him nothing was in the oven. But finally, we are sitting down and we enjoy the movie even down to the cryptic ending. We head out and make the mistake of wanting a refill on our soda. There is a refill here sign on the left of the concessions stand, so we go stand there. An employee made eye contact with us, but then goes to help customers just walking up that got there after us. We stand there for another 5 minutes and nothing. So we go stand in the actual line and finally get our refill. The employee that helped us was nice and asked how our movie was as he refilled it, but when I got outside, and tasted it, it was extremely watered down and ended up being dumped down the drain when we got home. So thats why there is 1☆. Id honestly good it 0 if I could, but we all know that isnt possible.
To expensive! The theater was empty except 3 others, DUH, it was $30 something for two adults and one 6 year old, that is not family friendly! Specially when you know all those Hollywood people made zillions on a film. Seriously, movies should be affordable family fun, lower PRICES every day, not just tight wad Tuesdays.
Great staff fair prices. Theater was well maintained and clean. Seats were ok as far as comfortably. Sound and picture quality was a 6 out of 10
Great customer service! There are closer theatres to our house however we choose to drive out of our way to go to this one. Great, customer service, pricing and great quality.
