A great little park tucked in behind the library. There isnt much too it, but it does have a few spots to sit. I love to go through here on my run routes. Be careful, because the park isnt lit at night, and footing can be a bit treacherous. However, it beats running on the side of the road.

Many from Tuscaloosa hardly consider it a park. Its a tiny place behind the library with a few seats. Its a good nook to to sit and rest if out running, walking, or heading for a bus stop. Dont think of it as a place to bring kids for loads of fun. Its more of a rest area to me. But the river walk is just down the hill.

This park would be alot better if they cleaned the grounds more often. From condom and blunt wrappers to dead animals all things Id rather my kids not to come into contact with.

Small but pretty little park on the curvy part of Queen City Ave between Univ Blvd and Jack Warner Pkwy. Best to park in the library parking lot and trudge back up the hill, you will definitely get your exercise in for the day!

Its a beautifully scenic park offering lovely paths and bridges along the Black Warrior River with playgrounds, benches, picnic tables. Walkers and joggers and dog lovers abound. Around Christmas one can see the Tinsel Trail, a wonderful display of Christmas Trees decorated by local businesses.

Small park with a very short and steep hiking trail. Mostly seems to be there to connect the top of Queen City Avenue with the library.

Theres a playground, a walking Track that goes around the entire park, a really cool water fountain for kids to play in in the summer, outdoor restrooms and water fountains, and is pet friendly because it is fenced in.

I love this park! It is right behind the library so you can walk right over if you have book to read and walk up the path, it is kind of small, it is mostly a little trail that goes up a steep hill. But steep hill are something you are just going to have to get used to in Tuscaloosa. Just hills in general. If you are new to this town and you walk you will feel a soreness in your shins that is hard to get used to if you are from flatland. The river walk is across the street from the library though and it is much longer and flatter. I would suggest coming here if you want to find a little quiet nook in the woods to sit on a bench and read or mayb watch the birds and spot some wildlife like little chipmonks or maybe a fox or a gopher if you are lucky. In spring be on the look out for blackberries, they are everywhere around their and so delicious, you can taste the sun in them.
