Century Gateway is what I call a cheap seat theater @ $3.75 for all showings. This is where movies are shown when they have outlived their marketability at regular theaters. The theater itself is decent but certainly in need of some updates, but probably wont happen anytime soon here. Take a look at the photos and youll know what Im talking about. The biggest way of telling how outdated a theater is when the seats are a little hard. Its not too bad but a noticeable difference from their regular theaters. So if you can overlook some of the outdated challenges then have at it! Popcorn and Soda taste the same but is expensive as all get out. $12.50 for a medium popcorn and coke. Saw Beautiful Boy and highly recommend it! Recommend :)Please like the review after viewing! :)

If you enjoy smaller audiences, and dont mind waiting to watch movies, this is a great place! Comfortable seats, with inexpensive tickets.Though I didnt get any drinks/snacks, it looks like they have some good deals at their snack bar as well.

This is an old and not terribly well updated theater. So, from the outside, its appearance does it no favors. However, the inside is clean and fairly well taken care of. I certainly prefer the open feel of the concession area and spacious hallways that lead to the theaters.The seating in the theaters themselves is much flatter that more modern theaters. This may be a benefit or a plus depending on your preference.Regardless, this is a decent place to get a last chance to see movies in their first run in theaters at a fair price.

Love this theater. Even though everything here is pretty old in terms of modern theaters. Its still a theater non the less. The Screens are a pretty good size, and you cant beat the ticket prices. Perfect for going to see a movie you possible never got the chance to see, or didnt necessarily want to pay full ticket prices due to only kinda wanting to see the movie. All in all, its a good theater. Would definitely recommend.

Even though a lot of people wont agree with me on this review Im still gonna write it. I simply LOVE coming to this theater! Sometimes I just stop by to buy some popcorn to take home with me, but most of the time I go here to see big name movies for a fraction of the price. Its a waiting game I guess. Instead of paying a ton ton of cash to see a movie the minute it comes out, Im content waiting a month or two until it comes to this theater. That way I can see the movie on the big screen and watch it for far less than what I there theaters charge! Granted Im sure the popcorn and drinks and so on are pricey but at least i still save on admission! Not only do I save money but the theater isnt awful. The seats are comfy and the theaters are always clean and tidy. I dont think Ive ever had a bad experience at this theater. Highly recommend going here to anyone and everyone!

Been coming to this cheap seats theater for years, great deal for a low price movie. BUT they keep this theater so cold! Its really uncomfortable when youre so cold that your nose starts running and you need a full winter coat just to make it through a movie.

Nice place. Easy to find and enough parking. The prices are very low during the day. The popcorn was fresh and average cost. I dropped to 4 stars because the seats are not that comfortable and tight foot space.

The harsh reviews are unfair. This is a perfectly nice theatre. The ticket prices are inexpensive. Staff are friendly. The temperature inside was fine. Its a good place to see a movie thats no longer in the major theatres.

Older theater, no reclining chairs but reasonably priced - especially senior rate - $3.00. Usually plenty of available seats and views not blocked by persons in front of you. Only one set of restrooms, near the exit.

This theater is showing its age. They have also raised their prices. Still a good value compared to A rated teaters outside of matinee time.

Prices are great seeds need to be redone and all the theaters. Bought a bucket today for refills every time I go for the rest of the year. Great promotion pays for itself after the fourth visit. Thank you

Great place to go to the movies on a budget they show movies a month or two after they come out at a discounted price. My 12 year old son and I go there once a month. Tuesdays are only $1.75 per person.

I dont get to use this theater often, but I do like that I still have a chance to catch a film in the cinema if life has been busy. This theater I refer to as a dollar theatre, its not a dollar, just slightly cheaper. I went on a Tuesday, where it was just a couple bucks. Easier to take the whole family, or a group of friends.I was slightly bummed that in the Starcade the games were either 2-4 tokens. I only had one token at the time. Not mad, just bummed. I saved it for later.The movie was great quality. The seats were nice. The arm cup holders go up and down! Staff were nice as well, and our showing was at 9pm! For some reason a police officer was there, like security. I didnt look into it. Not sure if its a one time thing, or normal. But I had no worries.

Nice cheap theater. I worked here about 12 years ago a lot of improvement since then. Glad to see that not only is it still open but its still a budget theater. They also offer cheap 3d viewing of select titles. The improvements made to this location have made it still a nice place to take your family for a good movie going experience. But just because the tickets are cheap doesnt mean discounted concessions items. They are still owned and run by Cinemark and serve the same snacks and drinks as the more expensive theaters. So dont forget to bring your snack money. All in all still a nice little theater tucked away from the street almost hidden from the world.

This is a nice discount theater on Kolb. The staff is very nice and the place is clean. The screen and sound was good. It wasnt very crowded. The seats could definitely be a little more comfortable but for the price they charge at a discount theater you shouldnt really expect that. Tuesdays are discount days if you want to save a few bucks. As per normal in Tucson the parking lot is kind of pot-holey so keep your eyes peeled for that. Will definitely return.

It is cheaper then most places but the armrests were not all there the seats were uncomfortable. There werent alot of people which was a plus but overall I would not recommend.

Best price. Good selection of movies. In some of the small theaters the seats in the back section are a lot more comfortable than the ones in the front.

If you only want low prices, this is your place! If you want fresh popcorn with good jalapeños, this may not be for you. You have to buy the jalapeños separately unless you buy nachos, in which case they are included. But the jalapeños are in a sealed pack and have a very preserved, artificial flavor. BUT the staff is very friendly and the facilities are clean.

I love going on Discount Tuesdays. The staff are friendly and the bathrooms are usually always clean. It is not fancy but Thats ok with me. The popcorn taste like movie popcorn should. Great for date night!

Were very glad that this theatre is still around for us Tucsonans! Always a great movie theater that is VERY budget friendly. Its truly a good place for all ages to come out and see newer movies before they are out of the theatres. Our family definitely recommends everyone to come see a good movie here!

Its bright and clean but not as up to date with no soft reclining seats as some other theaters. Nice staff.

I enjoyed the Tuesday budget movie. Its well maintained. It was a small theater. Seats were comfortable. Would recommend for a family or anyone on a budget.

Weekend matinees are easier on the wallet here, and some of the better movies are not big budget blockbusters.

Love the fact the prices are half the price of a regular movie theater. Most of the movies have been out for awhile, but allows me to see them if I missed them the first time around.

This place is the best. It is a cheap theater so dont expect amazing seats, but the staff are amazing. They turned what could be a very bad experience into an amazing one. Favorite theater to catch a quick movie

The seats were comfortable and the auditorium dude reasonable. The floors were quite dirty with a sticky feeling in some parts even right after cleaning and the chair back were weirdly shaped so that we constantly felt like we were leaning forward. Bathrooms were actually clean and staff was polite.

Clean nice and of course they get you for smelling popcorn. Always gets me to buy some and soda and candy. Ohh ya. The movie. LoL

Inexpensive movie experience. Its nice to go see a non-matinee movie and not pay double digits per person. Food options include popcorn, chips, hot dogs, pretzels and candy (and soda of course).

Ticket prices are awesome! Thats how tickets should cost everywhere else is outrageous. Shouldnt have to break the bank for a good night out. Concession prices are where theyll get you but once you try it youll see your paying for quality and quantity.

Great place to see a movie for cheap!

Love this place. Excellent value if you dont have to see a new movie the second it hits the theater. And even at that, they get those movies really quickly after theyve left the expensive theaters. The staff here is always friendly and helpful, the theaters kept tidy, and relaxed. some of the theaters seem to have an odd smell, like maybe a good steam cleaning of the upholstery and deodorizer would be due, but its never been so bad that I noticed it beyond the initial walk-in. Highly reccommended:)

Tuesday nights are cheap nights. Well worth the price. My only complaint is they have the loudest napkins. Its a weird complaint, I know... But you would think a theater would invest in quieter napkins.

I love this place! The staff is great and always makes everyone feel welcome. This is the place to chill and see movies on a big screen. If you dont care about having to watch first run films as soon as they come out, but still want to see them; this is the place. They are starting to bring in good Indie films as well.

Several people mentioned their high level of cleanliness. I thought the same while I was there. The facilities are older. The workers were very polite and helpful.. Someone said their popcorn is very good. I agree. I will be going there regularly. I go to Roadhouse usually and probably still will. But I think I will start going here also to save money.

Theater consistently shows top movies at sharply lower prices after their first run elsewhere. I strongly recommend this theater if you can wait a few weeks to see your movie.

Two to five dollars for a movie. Perhaps not a first date experience. Sometimes the will get an art movie but dont count on that. Most all blockbusters retire here. The theaters are fine. Have fun.

Im so grateful this theater still exists! I have 4 kids and it really helps that we can see movies without having to pay the premium theater prices! Everyones always friendly and the facilities are nice.

I am giving this a 5 star rating based on the value. For $3.50, you can see movies that were recently in the major, upscale or modern theaters. Reasonably comfortable seating, cleanliness, and nearly empty theaters mean you can choose a great seat for the recent movie of your choice, and enjoy it almost as if you had a personal theater. For the value, this place cant be beat.

This is a awesome place to have date night. Tusedays is the best day to go. Great for if you have a large amount of people and not a lot of cash or just a great evening event on a budget. They also have 3D movie options on some movies (a little extra price but still reasonable). Also a good place to bring the kids they have an arcade while you wait for your show to start.

I took my two-and-a-half-year-old grandson if you could tolerate sitting through a whole movie. The arcade offered an alternative to the movie when he was done. The theater was clean, popcorn made perfectly nice and hot.

Nice little theaters. Sometimes we purposely wait until a movie has been out a while so we can travel to this theater. What a deal! $3 movies! Nice concession area too!

It is great to have a clean, pleasant theater that features movies at a bargain price. These are the movies that have recently been shown at the first run theaters. The staff at Century Gateway 12 are consistently friendly, and the snacks are great.

Really love this theater! They did a good job of up grading it and really enjoy getting to see the 3D movies when they have them at a discount price.
