Hands down the best movie theater in Tucson. They are good to their employees also. Our daughter worked here several years ago and received best employee of the month several times. Everything is always very clean and their new renovations are great.

I love the new version of it. The remodeled seats are comfortable and they added a bar and better food selections. I was really surprised about that and I can see us going more often to have a drink and watch a movie. They also added reserved seating. Harkins is coming up in the world... almost forgot, they have the best movie theater popcorn hands down.

Amazing Theater and Service, specially since the last and only time Ive been to this theater was around 10 years ago give or take abit. Nevertheless it has amazingly progress into what it is today, a Theater worthwhile to write a review of it.They offer free Refills on a number of concessions items, relax abit on old thinking policies.Just Amazing.

I feel like the good reviews about this place are from people who literally never been to any other movie theater chain besides Harkins. I went to watch the 10th anniversary of “Inception” because they were the only ones playing it that day, and was disappointed with the theater. First of all, what movie theater chain still uses the uncomfortable rocker chairs? Well, Harkins does! Literally many theater brands like AMC and Cinemark have recliners now. Also, six dollars for a small cup of soda with no refills? That’s insane!

Went there last Saturday and everyone has to sit seats apart, workers come in and check, but no one listened about keeping masks on except for when eating and drinking something. When getting food you only can put in credit cards, and workers all have gloves on.

Clean, seats are staggered, away from people, very nice experience that I missed.

I like the Cine theater upgrades (screen quality is more vivid, the comfy chairs are great, and the audio sounds more enriched) which makes the ticket increase per seat worth the experience. I wish that the Cine theater experience was available in more rooms to have more film choices in a month. But the extra space around the seats and ailes does allow people to move around easier and feel more comfortable watching a film with strangers. The room gets petty cold. I would suggest a taking a small throw blanket.

I LOVE HARKINS ! I loved them before their remodel & their food has always been great ! But, now that there updating their seats to recliners & updated entertainment area to a Bar/Food Spot before the movie is great. Their drinks where Bomb ! Looking forward to watching movies here all the time. The only difference is that the seats are first come first serve, but, hopefully theyll be updating that soon.

Really clean movie theater space and restrooms. I always do the matinee showtimes at this theater, really helps with the weekend rush of people form popular movies. I also recommend purchasing loyalty cup. It goes a long way in savings for future movie trips.

I love this place. All of the snacks are yummy! Except the little burgers...no thanks, but thats just me. You have to sign up for their rewards, you earn free money really quick. Get the loyalty cup, $1.50 drink when you take it. If you have a kid that was too rowdy during the movie and you miss most of the movie, theyll give you another ticket for another day. The staff is always nice and the place is always really clean.

Harkins Theaters at the Spectrum is a great place to catch all the current movies with over 15 BIG Screens! There is plenty of parking and various restaurants (Five Guys, Red Lobster, Peter Piper Pizza, Wings, Sushi, Firehouse Subs, etc) to grab a bite to eat before or after the movies. The Theater also has a huge snack bar with all your favorite goodies. They even have a child care facility if you need a babysitter. Your child does need to be potty trained.02/16/19: Still stand by everything I said above. I would like to add that customer service is good, but the snack bar line is slow. This is something I have noticed since coming here. Recommend :)Please like the review after viewing! :)

Staff is always friendly and helpful! They recently remodeled the theater and have recliner seats, so definitely will be coming here more often! Really enjoy the Tuesday Night Classic movies that they offer.

Really like the theater and it is in a nice location on the Southside right by I-19. Regrettably we had an oops on the last visit and were sent to the wrong theater (looking for captioned film but was placed in the non-captioned one). We eventually got in the right place but missed part of the movie so no 5 stars. Still 4 due to prior visits.

Big mess with purchasing tickets through Atom, once we got to our seats we were informed that they were already reserved. The manager tried his best to help which I give props but ultimately had to miss the movie we initially wanted to see

The atmosphere here is awesome: decently priced food, multiple flavor powders to add to the popcorn, an array of sweets, and a cup you can buy that can be used throughout the year making the soda price cheap. The theater’s are well kept and the shows themselves are greatly varied. I make it thee only theater I see movies in! Thx!

Assigned seats for the movies? Everyone crowded to one area. Once I use the gift card I received I will not be back. I am a grown up and I am able to find my own seat. I dont want to feel like I am in grade school when I go to the movies. I dont need to have an assigned seat. As long as assigned seating continues I will find another theater.

Its always really quick to get in and get your popcorn. The staff members are really kind and accommodating. A very pleasant theater!

We wont be back, my husband and I are 50 years old and went on a movie date for the first time in 20 years and were enjoying ourselves and literally had someone that works there come up to us at our seats and tell us if we could talk quieter among ourselves because the people behind us had complained. Sorry for enjoying the movie and getting into it! well pay more and go to a better theater next time since weve decided to make this a weekly date thing! There is no way when you have so many speakers playing during a movie that us 2 talking and enjoying ourselves was too loud when we had 2 chairs that werent attached to any others near, and all the chairs around us were empty!! Thanks but... no thanks Harkins Theatre!

Great Bargain, Great option.This is probably the most consistent movie theaters I have gone to. Originally from the north part of Tucson, but this theater does not dissapoint. I used to love AMC foothills but ever since the price went up (due to the remodeling and fancy selection of seats) this is my next to. Today the the manager in the front (Jacob) topped it off. We bought app movie tickets from an app that I was not familiar about and bought them to the wrong Harkins. The manager wrote down the code and quickly had it fixed with no hassle. Normally I am used to employees giving us the Im sorry we cant help you deal but... that was not the case here luckily.I thought about giving it a 4.5. The only thing that can deter you from going here might be congested parking on busy times and congested movie theaters at times. But I literally spend 15.00 dollars for me my fiance and my son. Equals= duhh a Ganga Deal.I close my review by saying five stars so far. - Karina Shine

Ticket kiosk outside expedited the buying process ( you dont have to wait in line behind indecisive people). Plenty of cashiers at the concession stand and a bar! Nice seats too.

Half of the theater is currently under renovations. Popcorn always taste fresh and buttery. Be sure to grab a loyalty cup if you plan on visiting a few times in a year. Like any theater concession items are expensive, and you cant bring in your own food. But thats all normal.

Sometimes its nice to go to a smaller theater and theres plenty of food around it. Their prices are good and its clean. Very enjoyable.

Enjoy the movies, its very clean. Only complaint is the changing tables in the womans bathroom. Why are they so close to the door? I walked in and almost hit the lady changing her baby.

Harkins for us has always been a great place to take the family for a movie. Our local Harkins has been undergoing renovations. I guess the powers that be decided that family movie night needed to include a bar. .

First off when going to concession stand the clerks are rude we were asked if we ate before we came because we only wanted drinks ok what business was it of theirs really what didnt spend enough then when getting drinks after the movie the clerks were not knowledgable of the perks ok you want to sell perks but will not honor them ok just putting it out there so noone else has to waste money for perks you cannot use beware

The movie theater was in a good shape and I had a good experience, however I spent about 10 bucks more to get in the movie theater and another 10 bucks to get popcorn and a drink. I can usually get 2 tickets and a popcorn from AMC for about 35 dollars but I went to Harkins and it was 60 dollars. The facility is only slightly better then AMC foothills. Not worth the money

We took our 3 months old to the movies and I didnt get to finish the movie. The manager there was extremely nice and told me to go to the guest service and got passes for hubby and I to come back. So I appreciated that

Usually enjoy movie experiences here, however due to ongoing construction/ renovations . There are fewer ticket cashiers as well as fewer concessions that are working, which resulted in over 20 minutes of delay. We arrived 30 minutes early and barely made it in time for movie start. Hope this is only a temporary situation or management figures a better system to facilitate movie patrons.

The place is okay, its like any other movie theatre. I dont know if its just my luck but 2 out of the last 4 times Ive come to this theatre there were people with infants and/or toddlers that were either making noise or crying in the theatre. I dont know about you but I didnt pay $11 for a movie, $6+ plus for subpar nachos and $5+ for a drink only to listen to someones child cry.This time, I just walked out 30 minutes into Avengers End Game and asked for my money back, at which point the manager or shift lead or whatever was visibly annoyed that I asked for my money back rather than notify them of the crying baby which is what she asked me to do next time, with an annoyed tone. But I dont see why I should have to get up, miss part of the movie I payed for, make people uncomfortable and get in their field of view to walk down, to let them know of something they should have already been monitoring for and make up for an inconsiderate person that decided they couldnt pay a babysitter but they could ruin everyone elses time at the theatre.Also, they have some sort of daycare inside, which is cool for parents. This lady could have left her kid there, just saying.Outside of this, the rest of the staff seemed okay, also the place is mildly clean, bathrooms arent though.

Cant believe they are upgrading both sides. The $15 per ticket for late showings are outrageous. The food changes are a miss, burger tastes frozen and not a fan of the thin crust pizza. The bar is an obvious mistake. Its not a good fit given the area.

Trippy how theaters are now bring back pre pandemic style

H-O-L-Y isht they took out the arcade and added a BAR, with an actual bartender!!!! They also upgraded one or two of their theaters to include leather like, reclining, wider movie seats!!! Its $3 more per ticket, but well worth every penny!

Harkins need to remove the assign seat then theyll be good. Everything in Harkins thats new is perfect but bring back the huge popcorn that was on the top ledge I like to point it out to everyone that didnt notice it.

Had a great time with my son watching the movie Hunter Killer here. The theater was very clean and comfortable. The employees greeted us with smiles The snack bar had enough employees to handle the amount of customers so the line didnt get backed up too far. We will be back when in the area again.

Normally we have no issues here, even when my son and nephews come solo. yesterday, however, was different. I dropped off my son, who is 18, and 2 of my other nephews, who are 18 and 2 underage nephews. 2 had identification to get in, since the movie good boys is rated R. well 3 of them couldnt get in because they werent 18 even with 2 18 year olds. then they were told, after the tickets were bought, that they couldnt see the movie or get a refund. they were told that when a rated r movie is in its opening week that only 18+ will be allowed. Ive never heard of this before and its not posted at the theater or on the website. the fortunate thing is my son got his money back and for future reference I hope the theater would post something that states that or stop telling certain people lies.

Great place to watch movies, they have closed caption boxes that fit in the drink cups for hearing impaired folks. Popcorn is fresh and good, you can even put more butter on your popcorn!!! Comfy seats, good size theatres. Highly recommend!!!

Favorite theater always have best seats and the best soda machine

Unreliable and unprofessional. I planned to see a movie, which was publicly announced and scheduled on the Harkins showtime schedule; I show up to the ticket booth and guess what? They decided to cancel my movie and ALL other movies for the day, just so they can change all theaters to Avengers. They did this 30 minutes before the movie I went to go see was scheduled to start. Talk about last minute changes screwing up my plans for the evening. It is unprofessional to just screw everyone else over just so you can cash in on Avengers. If your business plans to sell out all theaters to Avengers, thats fine, but dont make these changes the day of; this should be a scheduled decision made days in advance, that way you dont ruin other peoples experience. This makes me not want to go to Harkins anymore. Honestly, Century Theaters is much more professional.
