There are pros and cons. Pro: cost is reasonable, spaces are adequate, there are some trees. There is a pool and some exercise equipment. They have recycling. They have activities. People are very friendly. Very dog friendly. Its just one interstate exit from all of the stores. Con:the dog park is not fenced in on the outside and youre not allowed to let dogs run free out there. The exercise equipment is not in great repair and is in the room with the pool. The only thing I could really use was the recumbent bicycle.nowhere to walk or bike other than around inside the park since the road outside is narrow and quite busy. my husband said there is not enough for men to do. There is shuffleboard and pool table and poker couple nights a week. But no woodshop,...

Great people here but the maintenance to keep it looking nice is poor. The weeds look like they havent been taken care of for months. Plus there was a trailer brought in that looks like it came from a dump. (Photos on trip advisor) Its sad to see this.

Review №11

Mission View does have a nice park with many great amenities, however, be sure to make a reservation or you might get yelled at for not doing so. This is the slow or off season so Im thinking they should have been happy to any kind of paying customer and not treat them as if they were interrupting the lives of those working there.Otherwise, its a great place to stay. Most folks are friendly and except for the airplanes and jets, its quiet. This is the 4th time here, so it cant be all bad.

A major draw back to this site is that it is literally across the street from an Air Force Base. Jets start blasting off around 8am. Can feel the vibrations.

I chose to spend the bulk of the winter at Mission View. Rates are certainly reasonable to stay monthly. The gem and mineral convention tends to stress the staff a bit, but it will pass as the new management settles in. A few maintenance issues could be improved but it is an older resort. The guests are friendly and helpful, as are staff. Lots of activities in season (cooler) for those who are interested. All holidays are graciously celebrated, and week day events are diversified. Lots of places to go and experience.

Nice RV park, easy access to major highways. It is secure and has a dog park. It has many restaurants and shops nearby. It is large, you can do your morning walk here on flat paved roads just by winding along the RVs.It has a nice pool and hot tub. The rec center hosts easy activities daily, line dancing, yoga, water aerobics...Trails are about 25 mins away, I do prefer a closer walking trail system. If you bike or hike and prefer a trail system, youll need to drive awhile. There is no green grass. It is all cement. A decent amount of space per RV.We are driving into Mexico from here to a condo. Mission View has an RV storage site attached. They charge by the month, so if you store your RV for one or two weeks, you pay for the month. I paid $50 for the month, they stored our RV for a week.

My wife and I stayed here for just over 2 months, and really enjoyed it, except for the constant harrassment from security. They gave us stickers to put in the windshield, to show we were residents, but it didnt seem to make a difference to the guards. They would stop us every time, asking where we were headed, and we would have to explain to them we lived there. Other than that, the amenities were great, heated indoor pool, clubhouse, two laundry rooms, and a very quiet RV park.

Staff is very friendly. Nice area to walk dogs, but beware some residents show great aversion to leashing their dogs.Park is very noisy, with trains, planes and gunshots from neighboring communities at night. There are some very nice residents but a majority of the long term RVers are very cliquey and very rude, especially the group that accumulates at the party alley tent. They stare at you like you have a horn growing out of your head if you wave or say something benign like hello. Guess we were just hoping for nicer, friendlier fellow RVers. Had much friendlier crowd at the free parking availability with the casinos in the area.

We stayed for 4 nights. The park is clean and nicely setup. Many amenities and activities for those planning a long stay. It is an older park but well maintained. Pet friendly and pet owners are very conscientious in keeping their pets quiet and cleaning up after them. The staff is very helpful. We would stay here again. I gave 4 stars because the park is close to the airport and a train with minal noise which did not bother us but might be an issue for others.

First of all if I could leave zero Stars I would! I have been visiting this park for 17 + years and dealt with various management teams through those years. The good the bad and the ugly. The good,Staff was very friendly and helpful.Nice having security at the gate and driving around in golf carts.Full hook ups with 30 and 50 amps at each site.Plenty of room to park your rig and vehicle. They give you a calendar with all the daily activity’s and there’s a bunch. Good WiFiThe bad,Pictures on the website don’t represent how old and in need of a good handy man the facilities are. Looks like it was built in the early 70s and hasn’t seen many updates. Pool area is nicely done however. The ugly,This place is depressing! I realize we were there in March but weeds are growing most everywhere. The landscaping is covered in last years dead growth. Lots of the full time residents rvs are propped up on cinder blocks. The only thing missing is an old couch on the porch. Our site was on the north side next to a very busy road. Lots of traffic al night. Lots of dog poo on the back of our site. Not your typical friendly resident rv park. Lots of not happy folks in the twilight of their life.We paid for a five day stay, a family emergency required us to leave after less than 24 hours at the park. The office was nice but they have a no refund policy. Seriously?I’d never stay here again.

We loved the enclosed heated pool and Spa. Clean but not new. Showers were old. Office staff was great. 5 blocks to the Casino owned by the Indians. The park is actually an Indian Reservation, there are taxes you do not have to pay. Sites were all gravel/level and a concrete patio. Hookups all were fine. WiFi was spotty during heavy usage. Verizon was strong. No cable. Air channels were good. We would go back for sure.

The gate guard was very rude. This is another park that likes to discriminate on peoples age. If youre not 55+ youre a nobody to these people and they will turn you away without even a recommendation to a better park. Is this the kind of park you want to support? Basically these people are telling the world that everybody that is 54 years old or younger is a worthless POS and not worthy or staying at their over rated park.

Absolutely beautiful where this RV Park is located. The mission is a must see for believers and non-believers. Inside the church is a sigjt to behold in alls its glory. The ground around the mission has 2 stores with nic nacs and other religious items. Tucson is a very nice city with lots gping on. Casinos seem to be quite abundant. The RV park has lots of room for parking and playing. Has a large laundry room and the prices to wash and dry are quite reasonable.

Editing once again and thanking the owner for replying! Im glad the manager Tammy and her spouse are gone. Id actually consider staying there again, its a clean place and I LOVED the indoor pool. I didnt complain to the owner when I stayed there because I was terrified Tammy would throw me out for complaining about her egregious rudeness. Ill upgrade you to a four star based on knowing they are gone.Editing my earlier post and downgrading them to two stars. I stayed there early 2017 and while the park was just ok, the manager was truly a nasty human being. Ive been full-timing for over four years and this is the very first unwelcoming RV park employee I have ever met, and Ive been all over the USA. I am accustomed to friendly, welcoming, smiling park employees who go out of their way to make guests feel appreciated. Not this woman. I truly dreaded going into the office for mail or to pay my electric bill. I stayed there for a couple of months while I had a job in the area. If I had not prepaid for my entire stay, Id have gone elsewhere. Its a high crime area, they have to close the bathrooms and laundry rooms early to keep out the criminals. Several neighbors had items like bikes and BBQs stolen while I stayed there. Tremendous amount of noise from the nearby airport. I was back in Tucson for that same job earlier this year and never considered returning to Mission View.My first review, below, was from before I stayed there. Upon check in arrival I found out that the gracious person I gave five stars to was no longer there and was replaced by this overtly nasty woman. There are many other RV parks in the Tucson area. to choose from.Original review: I havent been there yet, Im arriving in January, but they get five stars from me for being 55+!!! The office staff was very professional while making my reservation. The two reviewers who gave it one star are wrong. Its not discrimination. Its about making it comfortable for people who like peace and quiet. Most parks in the USA are not age restricted... Go there instead of complaining. Why stay somewhere that you dont fit in?

Stayed in Dec in motorhome. Very peaceful most of the time, but you have to love military jet noise; the daily sorties from the AFB are just a few miles away. This place is clean, safe, quiet (no kids), spacious, and friendly. The parking is a little odd, supervised back-in only to spare the fragile sewage lines from being rolled over. No big deal. Nice clubhouse, clean facilities. Wifi is extra, but we used tethered cell phone - slower but free. South of Tucson, about 5 miles from old town, and near the Xavier Mission. Recommended for sure.
