Not what it used to be. Couldnt get any further on the trails than the other end of the pond. The forest was beautiful a few years ago. Used to be my favorite in Topeka. Now I cant even tell if those woods exist.
Its not that I dislike the park, it WAS a very cool little park until, I believe, the city did some work to eventually put a road on the east side. Now the trails are pretty messed up it no longer feels wild. Just another park.
The pond is nice but the nature trail and grounds could use some maintenance.
Nice place to fish. Good trails.
Great park, nice and quiet.
Clean well kept trail. Nice little pond. Not long, but fairly ready to walk. It is mostly just dirt trail
Lovely spot to fish or hike!
Its has a trail and u can fish.
Its an awesome area. I was at the pond by the park at 37th and Fairlawn. The pond add quite a bit of moss in it but theyre clearing a lot of the brush around the area and adding picnic tables and park benches and trails you can hike through the woods and explore. Nice place to spending the afternoon. Open to the public with trash receptacles in parking space and I believe its free fishing
One of my Little Secrets of Topeka. A quiet place to read, write, cookout, and do a bit of everything with nature surrounding you.One of THE best kept secrets in town.5 Stars
Love walking the trails here, nice place.
It was nice.
Upscale neighborhood. Nice area.
Trails are currently under development but are expanding. Sections of park have need of maintenance.
Full of yuppies
