Really nice park for running or biking. It ties into other parks and has several offshoots of wooded and prairie trails.

There are a couple of bocce courts over there that I play at on a regular basis. There are also tennis courts and ball diamonds as well as a major trail head for the Shunga Trail.

Great view of the sunset on a clear day. Like to come here to walk the dogs and take the trails towards the back of the field near the tree line.

Peaceful... sounds of people enjoying their recreation at the tennis courts and people taking their dogs out for a nice walk or run. I enjoyed my time there.

Ample parking with a nice walking trail near by. You will generally see some kind of wildlife along the way.

Words dont do it justice. Felker is an enormous multi-use park with a tennis complex, softball diamonds, soccer and rugby pitches as well as miles of hiking on the Marshland Trail system. My son and I take advantage of the enormous wide open spaces there to launch model rockets that we build. The main trail which is a leg of the Shunga Trail is concrete and is popular with bicyclists, runners and rollerbladers. Felker Park is the jewel of the Topeka Parks and Rec system.

I play tennis here. The courts are excellent.

Good softball field. Restroom clean and snack bar. Plenty of parking. Covered bleachers and dugouts.

Felker is a good softball complex, tennis courts, shunga trails to explore. Youth football plays there. Not much for soccer fields anymore though. There are some goals but usually without nets. Basically a nice open field for practices or whatever.

Best park in all of Syria!

Nice Shunga trail for bikes and walking. Wooded in parts. Safe and comfortable.. the trail goes near the downtown area clear to Oakland.

Large fields for soccer and kite flying. Quite safe and a nice view of the VA water tower. Lovely butterfly garden on the South side. Ample parking.

Felker Park is named for former Mayor and former Park Commissioner Butch Felker. The park is home to baseball diamonds, tennis courts and is along the Shunga Bicycle and Walking Trail. The park also is used for Rugby tournaments and soccer practice
