Nice place to hike on the edge of Topeka. A good variety of plant life, from prairie perennials to woodlands. Great view of the region from the top.

A personal hangout spot for me and my friends. The climb is easy and the sights are gorgeous. Highly recommend.

The Powers that be Decided on their own without the Publics input to put a MASSIVE STEEL GATE at the top. So, you can no longer drive to the top and sit and enjoy OUR PARK and a STATE HISTORICAL SITE. THIS WAS VERY SNEAKY and done like a communist government.. This should not be allowed to stand. This WAS the best site and View in TOPEKA, It still could be if we demand it back !! Please start contacting city officials.

This Topeka overlook has always been popular. What has changed is that now you cant drive to the top anymore. You have to park then walk about a mile to get there. You can also ride a bike to the top provided you have very strong legs. I do have to say its more peaceful without all the cars.

Lovely view, I used to take my daughters up there a lot. There used to be a short trail at the bottom of it that didnt take long to get to the top. Lately the ground hasnt been kept up with and its no longer there. We dont have enough time together to go the long way. But its very beautiful once youre up there. Im surprised theres not many ppl there all the time. Could use more upkeep Its a chigger and snake sanctuary at the moment

Nice place to go on a walk and enjoy the sunset. Sometimes there is broken glass so be careful if you are walking your pets.

Great views. Does have graffiti and broken beer bottle sometimes. Their trails are really improving and they are really fun to walk or bike on. The city is improving this place a lot overtime and it is showing. Wood recommend hiking here. great then you to go to for 4th of July as you can see all the fireworks and there a lot of people there.

Sanctuary in the heart of TopekaThe road to the top of Burnetts Mound is closed to the public, which I find disappointing but there are trails that arent to bad to hike up.

Utterly incredible view of Topeka from the top. The hike up to the top is really nice as well. Theres a trash can at the top but no picnic table around, so no real place to sit down for a while.

Hands down the best mound around. Watch out for altitude sickness though, its pretty high up.

Hiking on the Skyline trail and got a beautiful view of Topeka from above. The trails are very nice and well maintained and perfect for a short 30 minute hike.

Love this place Ive been coming here for years. I love how Azura has cleaned up this place. The hiking paths are amazing.
