This is a nice quiet park where families bring their kids to play. Well kept and beautiful. Not large, but adequate for social distancing issues. As a resident of this neighborhood, I probably wouldnt be here long after dark. Older kids need a place to hang out, too. This Serves those needs also.

It was a nice quiet place for the wife and I to park in the shade and enjoy our lunch. Also looked like a great Park to get the whole family together once this Coronavirous has passed.

Not some place I would take my kids to play to much bad thangs happen around that park Im shire that it could be a nice park. I just pass thew thats all but its all ways clean no trash no kids ever there.

The park had broken glass on the play ground bolts sticking out the picknick table as area and opened water cover in the grass by freemont and irvingham besides these few things and they mowed over the pop cans and left sharp metal pieces in grass buttt the park is fun to play in

Its a very good place to take your children. Its clean has and the equipment is all in good repair. It is very safe place for children to play. Community is involved in keeping it nice. On a scale 1-10 I give it a 13.

Look, it isnt in the greatest neighborhood, nor is it the worst park in Topeka. Maybe there could be a community cleanup day and have everyone come together and paint over the graffiti and such. I would not let your kiddos be here past dark by themselves. Lurkers/squatters are known to slink out at night...

I live across the street. I love to see the kids play on the equipment and on the court. Usually clean, use to be a high crime area but police presence is frequent and things are changing for the better. Great for walking, dogs should be on a leash. I would like for there to be better lighting and restrooms.

I mean..its green and has a play ground..but the word park has a feel good quality attached to it, while this particular park I was nervous walking my pitbull thru. Just in a bad area

People sell drugs there. It is unsafe.

Not in a great neighborhood but park seemed quiet enough and if you are a Pokemon Go player there is a gym and 2 pokestops at this location!

Home sweet home

Ive been here 4 times. Twice there were fist fights on the court. Once I saw 4 kids with what looked like machine guns coming out of the creek. And once I saw a strange acting vagrant who was most likely on drugs.The slides arent positioned correctly so makes it hard for even a 2 year old to slip down. The equipment has profane graffiti and smells like urine. Not my favorite park.
