A really great time! Very intricate puzzles. The facility is very clean and staff is Covid cautious. Answered all of my sanitizing questions. My team felt very safe. A fun rush while the time is ticking down. 5 stars and I will be recommending this to all of my friends. Cant wait to come back and play your other games!!!!

Totally awesome!! Was worth every penny. Kids ranged from 10-15. They ALL had a blast!! Gotta do it at LEAST once in a lifetime. (I would recommend more!). East Coast staff are the best!!

Ive been here three times so it was obviously fun enough to return! You get your moneys worth. The staff was wonderful. I love the fact that they give you the option to close out the room for an additional fee. Ive done other escape rooms where we got stuck with strangers and it was not a good time. Definitely a lack of teamwork there! Everything is really fun and i like it

Great escape rooms. Clever puzzles. Everything works like it should. They change out the rooms every couple of years so you can go back and do new rooms.

Management was very unhelpful with explaining directions. Manager did not take proper Covid-19 Precautions. The room itself was boring, and easily doable if everything was color coded correctly rather then being forced to ask someone which color is needed. Do not go to this Escape Room. There are plenty of others in New Jersey to go to.

First escape room Ive been to but I absolutely loved the experience.We were a group of six. All scenes are for up to eight people. You take a chance on getting someone else added in your group if less than eight or you can pay extra so you get a private room. We took the chance and nobody else joined us. Scenes are all timed for one hour and can be played in three flavors. Story, which you get unlimited hints. Competitive where you only get five hints, or competitive-lite where you get five but if you get really stuck theyll give you another one or two. We went competitive and finished the scene in around 53 minutes and used all five but really could have done with just four as we hinted on the same issue twice because we were just stupid. LOL.Staff was super nice. Went through a couple of minutes beforehand with us about rules and then a brief intro to the scene. The room for our scene was realistically decorated for the story and you really had to work for some of the answers to get the key or combination or secret to open the next bit. Teamwork is a must. Scene moderator watches and listens the entire time to check your progress and when we asked for hints, they were just cryptic enough not to be simple, but easy enough to figure out and be useful.They had three scenes you could choose from and they retire them after a while and create new ones.Looking forward to our next escape room adventure!

Went here and played the Summerfield Place room. The puzzles were unique, the game itself was decorated nicely for a motivating atmosphere, and the hints were incredibly helpful. Bailey was an AMAZING game master. Can’t wait to come back!!

*VAMPIRE LAIR*....It was mine and my family first time doing anything like this we just walked in minutes before 6 and could have been turned away or pushed to do a later time but the staff went out of there way to fit us in and make me my wife and my 3 sons feel welcome....Im glad we chose east coast escape room to experience it. The vampire Lair was awesome! The staff wow made the experience amazing. It felt like we were in a movie and we were the stars. Highly recommend for a family night of fun and bonding team experience. Alot of surprises that makes the room A #1! We will be back...( Robert haha amazing!)

Great time for the whole family. Our team consist of my mom (65), husband (42), 3 sons (10, 14, 16) and me (44). The age spread definitely helps in solving the rooms. We have completed all three of their current rooms. Our first experience was Summerfield Place. This was a fun room that leaves you guessing until the last moments (literally). Second was Deadwood Cabin. This eerie room was so much fun. My 10 year old likes spooky things so he wasnt scared, but his mom was freaking out. Finally we completed and surprisingly solved the Vampires Lair last night. This room was spooky...seriously spooky. The live actor added to the experience. The staff is fantastic and really want to make the that everyone is having fun. East Coast Escape Room is also the only escape room around the offers that a child 10 and under can play free with a full price ticket purchase. This makes it a great location to feel out the escape room experience with a child without feeling like you are wasting money if they dont like it. I cant wait to see the new rooms they create.

Such a great experience. We did Summerfield Place and it was one of the best escape rooms I’ve ever done. I would highly recommend checking this place out. Great time, extremely creative designs and challenging puzzles. They also have very friendly, helpful staff. I will definitely be back to try out the other rooms!

Awesome (challenging) rooms with a great storyline. Ive been to a few other escape rooms and this is by far the best! Completed all 3 rooms and never have I been disappointed. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a fun night out/date night or family night. Cant wait until the next room is released!

This place was absolutely amazing. We chose Deadwood Cabin, for a little bit of a horror feel. Chris was our Game Master (title?) He explained the rules and got us set up in our room. Amazing experience, Amazing Staff. Definitely going back.

I did the vampire room with my family and we had so much fun. It was great for the adults and my kidd who are 8 and 10. Also it was spooky amd had to some unexpected scares which made it even more fun. The staff who played the interactive character in the room did a great job and helped us with clues

Great room! My team of two played and beat (and took #2 on the leaderboard) Summerfield Place. My review will be spoiler-free, I promise.The room was a mix of traditional locks as well as tech-driven puzzles. The setting was charming and well put together. The puzzles were not extremely difficult, but they had their challenges and there were enough of them to keep us moving and thinking. There were a few interactions Ive never seen before, and at least one item Ive never used in an escape room before.Its not often I walk out of a room with such a big smile on my face, not because we beat it but because we had so much fun doing it. I highly recommend this one, and I look forward to coming back for their other room.

Played Deadwood Cabin, it was a lot of fun. The theme and story line matched the room, and the story unfolded perfectly over the hour. There were some fun surprise elements which added to the excitement. They did a great job making this room. Looking forward to playing their other rooms real soon. Really nice people running this facility as well.

My brother and I took our camp counselor staff out last night to do the 2 rooms, and it did not disappoint. All 15 of us had a BLAST, which is hard to pull off! Christie and Justin are great hosts and game makers, and they have incredibly fair pricing. The fact that my staff couldnt stop talking about how much fun they had is just an inkling of why these guys are so good at their job. It was fun, spooky, challenging and just an all-around great time. We cant wait to go back again!

Best escape room in Jersey. The owners are awesome. They have yet to set a room up for me incorrectly. I have done all 4. Their room flow is top notch. You wont find any other company with owners chasing you as a grim reaper, or banging on locked doors trying to kill you. They are truly dedicated to this and it shows. If you are thinking about trying an escape room, this place is a sure hit.

We have been here twice. The staff is super nice and we had a lot of fun. The rooms are well thought out. Great place.

Although we missed our first visit by a few minutes due to a miscommunication which I was disappointed about, the owner who obviously cares about his business took the time to respond to my complaint which encouraged me to change my review. Although we havent gotten the opportunity to try it out yet, im giving 5 stars based on my friends who referred us to them and also the quick response from the owner who deserves another shot. Looking forward to next time when we will be sure to make a reservation beforehand!

We have done a few escape rooms and this one was wonderful! The rooms were challenging yet entertaining. The staff is very friendly, and really get the fun started !

Absolutely Amazing!!! Went for my husbands birthday and we are in love. The staff was great, the room was awesome. We cant wait to go back!!!

The room was cheap and poorly decorated. The puzzles were nice but they relied more on being able to find things hidden in the room rather than problem solving. The room looked like someone went to walmart, bought a gallon of fake blood and some paper spiders and charged $30 for people to see it. I found decorations in there that I used for my sweet 16. I recommend The Amazing Escape Room company instead, much higher quality and worth the money.

What a great challenge for any kind of team. My coworkers and I were tested on our ability to work together efficiently and quickly. East Coast Escape Room was without a doubt the best place to do so while having fun at the same time.

I love it . It was so fun but creepy. I would totally have a birthday party there.

The owner was very nice, but the rooms were horribly cheap. We ended up breaking several different things because things just weren’t put together well. Then the staff member slammed the door after he had to come and fix it. For sure the worst experience and won’t go back or recommend to anyone.

My boyfriend and I were able to beta test the room At Deaths Door, and while we werent able to make it out, we had a blast! It was a lot of fun, and challenging in a good way! Will definitely be coming back for the second room, and the future rooms!

All around solid experience. Ive played through both available rooms and had a blast doing each one. Im very much looking forward to returning and playing more rooms as they continue adding new scenarios.

So much fun!! The staff there was great!!! Very accommodating even when we added a couple people to our party!! We beat the Summerfield Place challenge with like 8 minutes to spare!!

East Coast Escape room was my 4th escape room and, so far, my favorite one. The main reason for this is that I felt the difficulty level was perfectly calibrated. Other escape rooms I have participated in were either too difficult, featured puzzles that were too obscure, or lacked continuity and left people wondering what exactly they were supposed to be doing.We did the Deaths Door themed room and found everything to be just right.Our group got out with ~5 minutes to spare and was active throughout the session. We pretty much knew, at all times, what puzzles needed to be solved which allowed us to focus on using our brains and teamwork rather than wandering aimlessly as sometimes happens in these sort of rooms. There was also a pretty nice twist which I wont elaborate on.Highly recommended for team building and just having a fun time, in general.

Last night my coworkers and I completed the at deaths door room and we had a BLAST! Cant wait to try one again in the future :)

This was the first time that my fiance and I have done an escape room and we were not disappointed. We did the At Deaths Door room which is the harder of the two. We were unable to complete it in time but had an absolutely amazing experiance. Going back tonight to do the other room. It was a great experience that we hope to make into a tradition. The owners/staff were extremly friendly and explained very well how to best enjoy the experiance. Cant wait for new rooms in the near future. This will hopefully become a biannual tradition. Highly recommended for all ages.
