We had fun! We had never been Ax throwing but I would definitely do it again. You can BYOB and food and they have refrigerators to keep your beverages ice cold.By the end of the two hour we were actually hitting the bulls eye and playing battleship! I recommend Bury the Hatchet and it would be really amazing if you go with a large group!

This was our first time throwing hatchets but this place was awesome! We had Axe Master Mark who taught us the ins and outs. He even taught me how to throw doubles! Cool dude and we all had a blast! The staff clearly love their jobs! Highly recommend!

Me and and close friend was there about 3 weeks ago. We had a wonderful time and a lot of fun!The staff person Drew was a lot of fun and showed us everything we needed to know. He had a great personality and great sense of humor.This game is not only for males but fun for females too. Believe it or not, the axe was not as heavy as I thought. Looking forward to going again!

First time throwing axes. Was pleased to know that an Axe trainer was with our group the entire 2 hours. He was informative, fun and kept the game organized and moving smoothly. We learned the proper technique and after practicing, the trainer suggested a game of battleship to vs the group sharing our lane. It was good fun competition and we would return again! Food and drink was allowed and was a good fun 2 hours of doing something different.

We went with some friends to Bury the Hatchet. We had a great time! Rachel was our axe master and coach. She was patient, kind, and funny. Rachel made the experience that much better! The facility was clean, orderly, and well staffed. We will definitely be returning!

Had a great experience at Bury the Hatchet. It was my first time throwing and Kyle was our instructor. Kyle was very attentive the entire night, ensuring we were safe and enjoying the night. This weekend Force Fitness shared a fun-filled night out at Bury The Hatchet Toms River. Everything about this experience was FANTASTIC! We booked the reservation for a group of over 50 people and from our very first interaction the staff was helpful and accommodating. We had the opportunity to work with Chris and his AWESOME group of Axe Masters! Special Shout Out to Jessie, Rachel, Drew, Mark and Kyle who kept us entertained while ensuring that we had fun and remained safe the entire time! I highly recommend you visit this location for a good time with friends, family, coworkers, etc!! We will definitely be returning! ️

Went for my first time today being a newbie, and had so much fun! Kyle and Rachel were so amazing and helpful! I wasn’t able to get the hang of sticking the axe until they both came and gave me 1 on 1 training. They are both very positive and friendly. I definitely will come back when Kyle and Rachel are working to get some more practice!

I had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday here! It was easy to set up over the phone with times to accommodate outside the ones listed on the website. Our host Amber was friendly and fun, showing a bunch of techniques and games. 10/10 would recommend!

We had a large group of 12. Most of us first timers and a few had thrown before. The entire staff was friendly and inviting from the moment we walked in. Thank God for Jessie our axemaster! Personally i was really nervous to throw the axe for the first time. Jessie was so patient with us and she made me feel comfortable. Our group definetly kept her on her toes and she didnt miss a beat. Her positive attitude and fun spirit was contagious and helped set the vibe for the night. We had a great time and are already planning our return visit.

Aaron & Rachel were awesome and should get a raise, a promotion, solid advice, great entertainment, solid real fun and humorous yet professional people. We got the whole office together for a night of fun and team building and we had such a great time. We had a amazing time on Saturday night. The facility was packed but well organized and they were fast and efficient moving us thru. Our Axe Master Rachel was great!! She took our group of 3 and the other group of 4 and had us playing games non-stop. The 2 hour experience is awesome and I would highly recommend it for a fun night out

My girlfriend threw a surprise party for me tonight at this location. We were immediately greeted at the door and made extremely comfortable. It was a group of about 14 and none of us have done this before. Our axe master Rachel immediately made us feel comfortable while at the same time showing us the safe way to throw. She was truly incredible and I recommend her to anyone!

I went for a company outing and it was so much fun! We had Rachel as our axe master and she was the BEST! She really took the time to explain the safety rules and how to throw the axes in a fun way! Our company had an amazing team building experience at Bury the Hatchet! The venue was great, especially having the picnic tables to sit at as well as the fridges for our drinks (always love a good BYOB) and the games like jenga there to play with other people threw. Rachel, our ax-master, though, really made the experience. She was super friendly, joking with us the whole time, while teaching us how to actually throw so we can enjoy our two hours there. Definitely ask for Rachel when you go! :)

Jessie, Sara, Rachel and Joe were our “Axe Masters” for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday party. The awesome employees taught our group of 28 people how to properly throw an axe and also helped us by telling us specifically how to improve our throwing technique. They ensured the party was a success by being knowledgeable but also by bringing exciting energy to the group. Thank you to Jessie, Sara, Rachel and Joe for being excellent hosts! We had a blast! In addition to that, the managers helped us organize the space for food and drinks, and made sure we had a good time as well. Amazing experience!

The staff is really friendly. They go out of their way to see that everyone has a good time. This has become one of our go to places for a night out or even an afternoon with the family.

Dont go here unless you want a ratchet 40 something year old bimbo to add your date on social media immediately after your visit using the info provided in the waiver (should probably get fired for that?). Overall experience was dampened by the employee constantly coming over to our stall after initial instruction to give more pointers and tips so much so that I think I spent just as much time talking to said employee as I did my date. Not ideal. ***edit the response is correct it must have been off his credit card info when she manually put it in the computer NOT the waiver.

My Friends and I came here on December 14th to celebrate my birthday. We had such an amazing time. Our instructor Mark was amazing. We went ace throwing in Oklahoma City, which was a BLAST!!! But we came here and it was still 100x better than the first time. We even wanted to keep throwing past the 2hour point. All the different games were so much fun and everyone kept laughing almost the entire two hours. Would go again for sure!!!!!
