Nice views on the water and in downtown TR.Its mostly geese and homeless people, and there are only a couple of benches out in the middle of the sun, but no seating in the shade or in pavilions. Pretty trashy park, and locals avoid it. You shouldnt be surprised to find rubbish everywhere, drug paraphernalia, crabbing or fishing supplies, and of course everything is covered with geese feces.

I was reviewing Uncle Doods Donuts when I found that I ended up talking more about this place than the store so I thought I better give the park a prper review. So here it is: Huddy Park is the best place to sit and eat a donut ands drink a coffee!

Went to a small boatshow here and it was a nice little place to walk around.

A quiet place to dock the boat and enjoy some wine and cheese.

This park could do so much better. It’s basically folded up unless the weather is nice. Downtown Toms River depends on everything at its discretion being perfect. There are changes in the air. A park like this could lead the way! If it’s special, I don’t see it as obvious when I am there.

Such an historic place. We had our wedding pictures taken here 43 years ago! They should have built higher bulkhead, as every time it rains a lot, water comes over the banks. Army Corp of Engineers blew this one. Now that Toms Rivers downtown is getting a makeover, Huddy Park is a must-see for locals and tourists. They should have someone to tell the history of the park -- especially in the spring, summer and fall.

Boat show, lots of pontoons, fishing and power boats. Able to get a boat ride. Even though we had no interest in purchasing. Rest room was clean.Seemed like a large crowd interested in purchasing.

Not much to do here but relax. It is the downtown Toms River park, so half the events are here, the others are a block away. Ample parking and restaurants are close along with Torpedo Park. Fishing is permitted and is a comfortable place to hang out by the massive library, courthouse, and jail if you have free time.

Saw the Shakespeare festival measure for measure performance that was excellent! The park is very accommodating, but there were geese around the whole time and geese poop every other step

Historic. The Artist show was phenomenal. Youve got the River Lady and Jack Bakers footsteps away. Good parking right there.

Beautiful spot, easy access

Huddy Park is amazing it is a must-see experience during the day or night it is history. Downtown Toms River is amazingly booming. And the revitalization of Honey Park is spectacular as well lit I feel comfortable when Im walking through to go to Water Street Bar and Grill and I feel very comfortable there because these downtown Toms River Police are there and their present as well as the South Toms River Police Ive recommended Viewpoint of Hardy Park Joshua Huddy thank you!

New park with gazebos, walkways and other modern upgrades is a beautiful place.Parking nearby.

Its is a little cute park in downtown toms river. Sadly the geese are all over it. It has the Luker bridge, restrooms and great views. The parking is a bit hard as the Waters edge restaurant is allways packed

Great fishing and crabbing. There is an area for picnicking and a water area for the kids. This is a great place for a day with the family.

Its a beautiful peaceful park but the only problem is you cant walk through it because the geese poop takes over the sidewalks and one side of the parks benches.. Its a shame...

Its a beautiful park on the edge of downtown Toms River recently renovated with benches, a bridge and a gazebo. It has plenty of open ground and its the perfect place to enjoy a sunny day with a picnic on the grass.

Re-invented itself since I was a child. Very relaxing place to go.

Currently under construction at the time of this review. This historic site is most known for its Luker Bridge that spans over part of the Toms River. Various plaques are presented through out the park providing descriptions to either historic events or landmarks of the area. Generally, most people dont think about this park until an event is held at it, but it is well kept through out the year and is a nice stroll to go through if youre walking, biking or running through downtown Toms River.
