We met with friends at this place for dinner. my friend recommended this place. Well, it was very successful. The staff members were extremely nice and we felt excellent. The meal was fresh and delicious. We loved this spot a lot and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Keep it up.

I go for the pinball. Great selection of Pins ranging from vintage to modern. All machines are in great condition. Staff is friendly and professional.

Rodneys place is amazing! The staff was super friendly and it seemed like Cheers where there were regulars and the bartenders knew everybodys name. There was even a moment where my friend and I were ordering beers and food from the bar, but this kind gentleman-customer offered his seat so that she and I could sit together at the bar. They have a great selection of beer and a unique take on bar food - a mix of Asian cuisine and the Southwest where the bar owner shares his spin on the melting pot of Arizona we dont often take advantage of. A great place to grab a drink and have a Bao! :)

They have an awesome variety of beers, ciders and some yummy snacks here! My favorite is the Ace Guava cider! The owners and staff are so funny and welcoming.

Back in the days of live music this place had killer punk rock shows in the perfect environment. The right amount of seedy, the right amount of raucous, the right amount of friendly and welcoming. They have an incredible craft beer selection, good food and are attached to the Electric Bat, an epic pinball arcade with well maintained machines. Go there now!

Great plac for 3rd shifters. Open 6 am. Bartenders are friendly, customers are cool, music is streamed through Alexa.

I Like this place it like being in the East Village in NYC and thats a Great thing but Yucca Taproom is one of the Best places to Hang out at especially before Covid but Ive been there since then and not disappointed

First time here. Great staff, great food. Drinks didnt cost a fortune. Amazing arcade with some old school video games. The stage is steps away from the bar, so the bands are right there with you. I actually got to sit next to the headlining band at the bar while the opening acts were playing. Bring your earplugs though! The sound system was booming...

Trash service. How you use covid procedure and still grab stuff out my hands and hamd me dirty pens and where no masks but claime all this safty.

I played at the yucca lounge in a band called the Brothers Who the owners name was Peter Who this was in1983-84 and 85 solid .... the first nine months we were there six nights a week .... We played variety but mostly current top 40 Rock I love you Peter who and I love the yucca lounge ️

The Yucca Tap Room! Where do I start! I have the place tattooed on my back! When it comes to local live music I cant imagine there is a place that compares! Not in Tempe anyways. Nevermind the pizza and craft beer they serve in the restaurant. And now the pinball hall! Oooooooh damn!!! Need I say more!

My ASU classmates and I installed an art piece across the parking lot from Yucca Tap Room. I’ve never been inside the bar. Go look at the art tho! There’s a lot of it and some of it is pretty cool :)

Some friends of mine and I went out last night and the Yucca Tap Room was split between a SKA Excursion..... and an evening in the 80s :-). There were five ska bands and they played from 8:30 all the way through until 1:45 a.m. for a mere $5. It was amazing music, fast-paced, and very energetic. The place was packed and it was warm but that was our own doing from dancing :-) they have an outside area where those that wish to smoke and drink can and there is one main bar that took care of all the drinkers. Great job of keeping up. Towards the end we jumped over to the 80 side to see what was going on and true to the advertisement with people dressed in 80s clothing like they were going to a prom or something the place is pretty darn packed as well. All in all it did matter which side you went to you had a good time.

My favorite venue for music. They have so many good beers in tap. Great selection of whiskey.

Live bands on the weekend,bartenders that remember you and a nice crowd just the way a bar should be. I have usually heard rock so if you are going for the music you might want to see whos playing, but if you are into rock its always a good show.

This place is BS 1st time and last I had 3 Heinekens and after I finished last I was told to leave and forfeit my keys wasn’t told why I refused to give keys and was told they are calling police np since wasn’t drunk. I believe it was racial profiling because I’m not 100% white I was only minority there. BEWARE

Excellent food. First class bar staff. Good music. Take earplugs, the acoustics are really good but after four hours your ears go numb.

Yucca Tap Room is excellent for every purpose listed - live music, and as a bar. Their food is decent, but be careful in ordering - theyre listed as one of the more... iffy restaurants in the Maricopa County Health Inspector listings. Great selection of beer, though, and awesome live music.

Cute place, but it is entirely too small for hosting a band. Theres only about 50 or so feet from the front of the stage to the back wall, so the 300 people that came to see the band were either packed in tighter than sardines, or had a terrible view of the stage. Some people dont mind being right you against a bunch of strangers, but Id like a little more elbow room personally. I had people literally stepping on me because there was barely any room to walk.

This bar is bigger than it looks. The food is shockingly good for a bar, the music venue is small and offers proximity to the stage, and they have several pinball machine in the back. It can be very noisy, crowded, and difficult to get service during busy times, but thats bar life, and when we were there, the bartender took good care of us when things calmed down a bit and there werent a hundred people trying to get her attention.

Like most amateur DJs, this one cant gauge the size of the venue with the appropriate volume. I came to hang with friends and socialize but theres no way we can hear each other so everyone here is just sitting on their phone. I really shouldnt need a pair of earplugs in a tiny dive bar. Ha! The room just cleared out, looks like im not the only one feeling annoyed.

The front smoking area needs tables. Perhaps in summer they do.

Large beer selection which is good but its biggest downfall is the food. Huge selection of drafts and bottles/cans but the menu is only yay big and whats available isnt exactly bar food. They serve craft Korean BBQ inspired tacos called baos. Really theyre just steamed buns with different ingredients (check the picture for the menu). The wings are good, the beer prices are fair (the flight was six dollars for three 3oz pours) but the food is expensive for what you get. As far as the ambience goes theres two different sections. The venue, and the bar. The sound leak is really bad from the venue to the bar so be expecting to yell over live music (if thats a problem for you) but this place is decent to go to with a little group for some entertainment.

Great entertainment and awesome bartender. Seemed completely overwhelmed, but she took it in stride and made sure everyone was taken care of. Friendly and patient even when someone took 5 minutes to decide who pays the tab. Will definitely return.

Yucca is excellent as always. Theyve added a mini arcade with old school arcade and pinball games. Definitely a welcoming establishment with its Cheers-esque wrap around bar. It opens up at 6 am. They also serve food in the newer section along with craft beer. A great little venue.

Food was great and decently priced! Enough space to enjoy live music events, play pool, shuffleboard, or just relax with a good drink without feeling overwhelmed (compared to smaller venues). Had a great time!

Been in AZ for a few months now and this is by far one of the better bars Ive been to. Drinks are decently priced. If youre hungry or got the munchies the fries here are a must. They usually have live music and events on weekends. If an event is going on they will typically have the other side of the bar open for people who just want to chill.

Awesome place. Friendly staff, good drink specials, rad arcade attached. The best spot I found in the Phoenix area while I was in from out of town.

Yucca has something for everyone, great music, food, staff. I have a good time every time I go. They hosted a benefit show for Pit Bulls & had one of the dogs from AZK9 Rescue out named John Wink, the best time!

Only been to Yucca a few times but I always enjoy it. If you love supporting small/local groups and having a few beers, Yucca is definitely the place to do it.

I have been a few times for taco tuesday, and they are pretty good, especially for a cheap price. beers are cold, bar is chill, service isn’t the best but definitely not bad.

If youre in the market for a great dive bar with live music, great craft beer selections (local included), and decent food, then youre in luck. Yucca is one of the best in the city, but you wont get special treatment here, and honestly, I wouldnt call it a great dive if I did - short, sweet, cheap, and reliable.

Great beer selection and an interesting selection of Chinese food. I ordered some bao with my final round of drinks and it hit the spot. I felt that the sound in the pit was rather meh. Not enough space for the sound to carry. Overall me and the guys had a great time though. Would come again.

Soulful joint with two separate bar environments. Old meets new in a long time Tempe venue. Digital menus with a large selection of micro brews and an Asian fusion menu. Its worth looking into!
