Just drove by today (Sept 10, 2020) and it looks like theyve gone out of business ;( Really liked the place

This place has a very cool aesthetic and top of the line gaming machines, its a lot of fun to play familiar games on ultra graphic settings.

Best priced gaming cafe in Tempe! I recommend buying the 10 hours— it’s cheaper and it doesn’t expire. You can log out and then log back in anytime.I love coming here with friends so that we can all play together. They have a small assortment of snacks and drinks which are also decently priced. The location is great— it’s close to food and just a 10 minute walk from the light rail. You won’t regret coming here! ^_^Feedback: One of the employees (also mentioned in other reviews) does not seem very friendly. I understand they are doing their job by ensuring that everyone is following the rules. My feedback for this person, however, is to reprimand misconduct firmly but gently. On our first time visiting, my friend was reprimanded for unknowingly breaking a rule. Maybe you guys can advise your staff to give a gentle warning to new customers first, instead of turning off their computer mid-game. I was surprised that we weren’t given a milder warning. To be honest, shutting down the computer gave the impression that if we did anything else we would be instantly kicked out. I’m not sure if they would actually do this or not, but it was intimidating.Long story short, my friend was tilted during game and was expressing his frustration— normal behavior in the gaming community. I appreciate the staff taking action to ensure that things don’t get out of hand— but it doesn’t need to be so cutthroat. Still giving this 4 stars because I love this place and hope they have a lot of success.

Games are not updated, on 3 separate visits the games I came to play have not worked. They expect me to spend my money and time updating their games??DONT waste your time or money unless you are only coming to play Fortnite. The headsets work sometimes, most of the people coming in wreak like weed and the staff allow hate language in their establishment. I had to leave after listening to some white guy drop about 10 angry N words.. staff is rude, lazy and more interested in watching movies on their cell phones than updating machines and providing customer service.. good luck.

This was just what the doctor ordered for my nephew birthday. High quality systems preloaded with games. Easy to get on, great for game play. Inexpensive. If you want a place to game, check this one out.

Hands down the best gaming cafe in Arizona. Friendly staff, clean computers, and a huge selection of games. Great place to come with your friends.

Girl at the front desk doesnt open on time. Very rude with old clothing. Machines were good.

Front desk guy, Asian with long hair in a pony tail and a mustache/goatee combo, was just rude and unpleasant. He didnt say hi when I came in. I stood there for 2 minutes while he just quietly played Call of Duty. Once he didnt he said Whats up? in a cold tone. I said that I would like to get an hour to play and asked about the first time free hour thing so I could get a total of two hours. He said Yeah. That expired over a year ago. Even though I saw a review on here that said that you get an hour free for your first time just 2 months ago. Guy played video games instead of checking multiple different people in that came in. It was also 5 dollars for an hour instead of 3.50 like what other people said. I would much rather just go to Pure Esports in Gilbert. Better computers. Better peripherals. Friendlier staff. And MUCH better chairs. For just two bucks more.Edit: I can only assume thats the owner, his family member or some other thing for him to not be fired yet.

Went out of business and is they still say they are open

The manager has banned people he assumes is vaping inside whether they have or not. This is my case when I specifically took my smoke breaks outside where he could see me. If you want good play-time, go here but the one-sided managment is terrible.

Front Desk guy was incredibly dismissive and rude every time I needed anything at all. Genuinely felt like I was bothering him when I tried to buy some drinks or when I told him that my machine.Then lets move to the machines. I was dropping frames like crazy, and the fact that my machine froze after only a few hours on one of my first visits was pretty much icing on the cake, considering the game I was playing was relatively important.The peripherals are nice and the crowd is great, but considering that there are better deals at locations with more accomodating staff is enough incentive to travel a little farther to The Grid.

This place is an absolute joke one staff member never fails to be down right rude to almost everyone i see come in and out the 3 times ive been here there are serveral other cyber cafes in the area that are 1000000000 times better whoever owns this place has let it run to the ground and the prices arent even cheaper then the others for lower quality keyboards and monitors its just crazy and on top of that to have staff memebers that are just down right rude to people trying to spend their money here is insane....... bad enviorment to go hangout and play some games in my opinion and dont even get me started about long hair asain male employee I really dont understand how reapetedly on these reviews people have specifically talked about him and hes still worked there because in my 3 times there they were all spaced out about 3 months hes always been there and now reading through these reviews i see that I am nowhere close to the only one that has had this experience

This place is great. I come here all the time to play with my bros. Theyve got approximately 40 popular games you can play all day for only $3.50 an hour, and your first hour is free. The guy up front is also super chill

This place is super fun to come and hangout with friends. I live right across the street and come here every week. The price is affordable and their PC’s are super dope and smooth. First hour is free, and you also get an additional hour every time you bring a friend!

It was an overall great experience that was completely hindered by this asian man that worked there. I was playing osu before my time on the computer ran out and was still logged in after my time ran up, since I wasnt able to log out of osu I asked the guy if I he could activate that computer so I could log out, and he just said If you want to logout press the button in corner of the screen I tried to re-explain the situation and he just said the same thing, after I realized he didnt care I left. Afterwards I had to contact the support for the game to reset my password so that people couldnt get into my account.

I come from long history of working and going to lan centers. The girls in the day time are great but the night shift Asian closing guy is terrible. Between me and 2 other buddies of mine, we spent a couple hundred bucks here in 2 days. Won’t be coming back because felt like we were racially profiled. We go outside and have a quick break with our vape pens, being genuine people (we thought) we’d go farther then 25 ft to smoke, but oh, it’s totally cool for the asian group to smoke cigarettes a foot away from the dang door! I hit them every time we went out. These same people are EXTREMELY loud, I understand getting excited, but it’s outrageous how much they scream and not a word is said to them. The “manager” asked us tonight to leave our vape pens outside because they can spill? Lmao, what about all the drinks and everything? Why not ask us to keep it in our pockets? Why not say anything to the same ethnicity as you, that the store REEKs of cigarettes and to keep it down? Last time we go back. We’ll continue our business at the grid cyber lounge.

First time Ive ever been to a place like this and honestly... Best gaming experience Ive had in a while. Pcs are 10/10 bring a friend get an hour first time hour for free so 2hrs. Theres also snacks you ear and play. This is great gaming experience.

Suuuuuuuper fun, omg. Its only $13.50 for 3 hour access, and they have an amazing set up and tons of games. 10/10 fun outing with friends or a date (or even yourself ;)

Staff was very rude went there 3 time and will never go back there are many other lan centers or cyber cafes where the employees don’t kick you out before posted closing time or get upset that hey have to check you out when you are getting time, like that place is alright not that bad compared to the other lab centers but the staff are just awful not a very welcoming environment for someone that’s never been

Great library of games, also the place is really chill and looks dope. The pricing is 5 a hour but if you buy more hours then it gets cheaper, for 10 hours youll pay $3.5 an hour

Have come here multiple times in the past couples months and kept giving this place a chance but when they dont even have half the games advertised on their site and not to mention the staff is very unhelpful i would not recommend ever coming here defiantly pass this place up not worth the time
