Great place to go to get out of the heat!! Plus, I believe the community pool is open (at least it was for the swimming class this morning).Park is very nice, hassel-free!! You could even take a nap if its needed.Wonderful place for a picnic any day of the week.

Great hidden gem, wasn’t expecting much, but this Place was great, sadly there is a homeless population problem always around in almost every park nowadays, wish the government would help them, anyways I have to be extra aware when they are around my kids, nothing against them, but I am more protective of my kids.

I went to Vote and the entire process was very pleasant and organized

Large open space for plenty of people or groups of people to have the area to do what they want. Regularly see teams playing soccer, working out, running.

I go here to see my students play soccer. Its a great area and has space for multiple games to go on. I havent been over to the playground but if the laughing and running kids are anything to go by it seems great. It has sidewalks and dirt paths as access. It also has some exercise stations. Im unsure how the bathrooms are.

Love this park! Its like the Tempe version of the Scottsdale Chaparral Park. Its got a nice dirt track for walking/jogging. Plus theres plenty of sports areas for those who are into group fitness- a soccer field, basketball court, and even a volleyball court.Inside theres a large playground with lots of fun equipment and in addition along the track, theres a lot of workout machines. Something for everything at this park. I know I will be returning soon to this park.

Plenty of shaded area to sit and still keep an eye your children. There was, at least on water fountain. Plenty of area for children to play. Lots of structures to play on and around. Sand covers most of the playground sounded by grass.

Amazing park so much to do for your kids, the field is real nice, and a good basketball court as well as having the pool and esclante center right there!

Nice park. Ate lunch there the other day and watched a group of people play Jugger. Never seen any game like it before, but learned all bout it after watching them play for a while.

Wonderful community center with plenty of activities for kids and adults! Football/soccer field and playground next to it. Great pool for kids and kids bday parties!

I be hoopin up here too sometimes, mostly use there new fitness center to workout.

There is some unique park equipment to play on as well as a track with excersise stations and a soccer field. There is also a community center with a public pool that has two water slides. Only $1.25 to swim adult .75 cents for kids.

Very nice and open. Well lit at night very active and fun.

I love this park!!! Its got so much grass, multiple ramadas a walking track and even a volley ball court. Its connected to the Escalante Comunity Center that has a large swimming pool. Staff and security are always super friendly and very helpful. Definitely worth a visit.

This is a park with lots of culture and is definitely a safe place . community garden local art fun for all ages and all types. This park is truly a pillar of the neighborhood.

I loved it, watched my couches daughter play basketball and the place was well cleaned and seemed like a very positive environment.

This is a great park it has workout stations and they do a really good job of keeping the field maintained. There is also a community garden and a beautiful mural on the North side of the park. Good place to do some exercise and play some ball with the local youth.

Kool little park when kids are in school but when there out chaos center next door has programs for kids if outside is not where they want to be

Best to learn how to play soccer

A nice park, I take the kids there every day after school for a couple hours.

Cheap, fun, safe environment. Took the kids to the pool/splash pad. Had a blast and was allowed to bring in snacks. This place was a win!!

Absolutely beautiful on the park grounds and especially inside the community center. Its a nice, safe, spacious enclave that residents of Tempe in the Price-Apache-McClintock-University block should be proud of.

Too many homeless people refuse help from anyone and refuse to work for a job which results in a population of homeless people that need places to sleep.
