I love this place! I know once things settle down you and your family are going to enjoy this wonderful place.

This place is such break from the chain theatres. Great atmosphere, lots of cool video games that are actually fun to play. A lot of life-size figures reminds me of Planet Hollywood.The hot dogs are kosher beef and candy isnt stale like other place and they are too crazy expensive.The screens are smaller and the seats are basic but it way less expensive and full of character(s)

The attraction here is price. Two adults on Tuesday for $5. The movies shown here have concluded their runs in the larger branded theaters, and are ready to be retired, so its great if you missed the mainstream theater run of a must see.Having said that, the seats are standard and seat quite low to the floor, so a seat toward the back is better. The theater could use a thorough cleaning all over. Popcorn is served hot and a lot is spilled. The first impression is the smell of it. Good if you like that.The Lobby is decorated with life size movie hero statues for selfies.There is a game room while you wait.Restrooms are available, and parking is generous at this strip mall.We enjoyed our movie choice.

A welcomed place in the Tempe area. Ive been to this theater many times and have always loved it. Im so glad places like this exist. The screens are all digital, seats are pretty comfortable and the concession prices are great! Lots of cool movie memorabilia in the lobby to check out before you head into the movie. Locally owned, so its great to invest back into the community.

Tucked away in the corner surrounded by wonderful restaurants is the Tempe Cinemas theater that runs movies that are not found on the chain theaters anymore. The price is always right and the concession stand keeps the popcorn fresh and the price low. Very family friendly.An added bonus is how the mall surrounding is transformed for the Christmas holiday...amazing displays of lights adorn the area and is always such a festive touch.

Great discount theater! Quality digital and sound. Very clean and well maintained. The snack bar offers standard fair and competitive prices. They have an annual discount beverage cup and free refill popcorn like other local theater. Lots of fun and interesting decor in the lobby. Cool arcade section that is accessible without buying a ticket. Tickets are only $3.50. Tuesday tickets are $2.50. Bathrooms are clean and stocked. Overall, an AMAZING VALUE!

This is a decent and well cared for dollar theater. You can tell the real estate mogul Michael Pollack is a movie buff. Its not super cheap anymore, $5 for normal tickets, and its the old style theater seating, so no roomy reclining chairs. This is no modern theater, and you can tell the building is old, but it has charm. Theres a small diorama section for old movie scene mannequins, a small arcade, and memorabilia sprinkled through out. Go for a quaint old school movie experience.

Seats are uncomfortably small, but its a great venue other than that.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this theater!!!! NOT your typical discount theater. Instead, it is well designed and cared for. The seats dont recline, however they are very comfortable. The popcorn is AWESOME! The movies shown are later releases, however not much longer than the initial release date. Price is $3.50 and SUCH a nice option for families and date night. They offer several movie options many shows times. We will definitely be back!!!

Very nice and cheap place to watch movies. Has cool classic arcade games as well as statues of famous movie stars and old collectibles displayed as a sort of museum of cool collectors items. The theatre is owned by Miachel Pollack and I think this is overall a cool place to check out if youre in the area!

Great great value. Love all of Michael Pollacks nostalgia. Best decorations. Its a special place. We are fortunate to have Mr. Pollacks generosity.

This place has been around forever and we go see a movie here about once every few months or so. Very cheap. My only complaint is they could keep it a little cleaner in the theatres and bathrooms. Free refills on large popcorn which is a plus. They have a small arcade as well which is cool if you showed up too early for your showtime.

Always love a night at Michaels theater. Lots to look at even before the shows start. The snack bar is priced better than the chains and if youre lucky, you might even get a chance to shake hands with Mr. Pollack himself.

A fantastic retro vibe that will leave you feeling nostalgic regardless of what era you are from. The arcade games in front along with statues really set a fantastic environment for people all of ages and tastes. The films have usually been in theatres for a while but youll often find yourself rewatching films you previously watched simply because of the comfortable/pleasant experience. The ticket prices are also very affordable, so if you dont mind waiting a few months to watch a new film this theatre would be an ideal choice.

Being a senior on a broken income..I feel Micheal Pollack is the best thing since sliced bread! He has kept his theater affordable for those of us that still enjoy the movies, popcorn and a soda! Thank you Micheal...you are greatly appreciated. A fan of Pollack Cinemas!

This place is Amazing!!!! If you cant make it to the wax museum out of state, coming here is just as great!!! Also, the ticket prices are unbelievable as well as the popcorn and snacks!! Great customer service too!! Clean and very fun atmosphere!

I always enjoy coming here! Staff is always friendly, the atmosphere is kitschy fun, they host great community events, and they have the best fresh brewed iced tea options of any theater in the Valley! Plus the whole plaza is so festively lit up during the holiday season!

Very clean, love the low pricing! Such a neat lobby, all of the movie statues all over! Also had a mini arcade, I didnt use it so cant comment but thought it was a great area!

Live this theatre! Cheapest prices in town and lots of ambiance. Good size arcade for the kids. Food is still really pricy like any theatre but you can always bring your snacks in your purse or backpack and they wont ask to look inside.

I wanted to take my 3y.o. and 23 month old to a movie. Not knowing how they would take all the experience, i decided to take them to Pollack cinemas. I have never been there before and I felt like it was a very welcoming place with awesome decorations. I would definitely go back there to see more shows with my kiddos.

Pollack is a theatre Ive been going to since I was a teenager! Its a super cool little spot with lots of hidden trivia and stories. Good seats, great prices. Definitely recommend!

Great place to see a movie. My husband and I dont mind waiting for movies to show here. Plenty of showing, even better on Tuesday $2.50 night.

This theater has multiple screens and if you are expecting an Indian movie, that too a south Indian movie in Phoenix, it is most likely to be in this theater. The inside of the building is very good. Its furnished with many celebrity models. The food option was great and affordable too. But the servings closes before 12 midnight. So if you are there for a night show, make sure to get the food in the before the movie starts. The inside of the theater is good but not the best. I was expecting a bigger screen like Harkins in Tempe marketplace. The sound quality is really good. The one thing I disliked is that you cannot reserve a particular seat. So you have to be there early to grab a seat at the back or else the front row will be the only option.

I love coming to see movies here! Growing up, this was my familys go-to summer break movie theater and its so great to see that its still around offering families an affordable movie-going experience. The memorabilia gives it a really neat vibe and the staff is always really friendly. Plus they have kettle corn!!

Nice spot for discount movies. great selection of movies to watch and concessions to buy. fun for kids to go as they have a lot of movie memorabilia to look at. the chairs are a bit wonky, but overall a super place. friendly helpful staff. i hope this place sticks around.

Affordable movie theater! The prices for concessions are pretty much the same as of the regular theater, but I can see how they need to make the money that way. They do have loyalty cups which is cool!I would advise you to take a sweater because it gets so cold in there, but overall good experience I only wish they would change their movies out more often!

$3.50 every day all day for all movies, $2.50 on Tuesdays. The drawbacks is the only movies they have have been out for awhile and might already be on DVD. And dont expect the super fancy reclining seats. The theaters are basic, with basic concessions for a great price.

A good movie for $3.50, cant beat the price. I was getting my car repaired a block away so it was a huge plus to be able watch the movie MIDWAY while the work was being done.

This Pollack Tempe Cinemas saw better days when basically the whole place was packed with old school arcade games. So old it was almost like the arcade at SFs Fishermans Wharf. Not that amazing, but for Tempe, pretty rad. Over the years the movie selection here has become more and more blockbuster related, which pushed me out as a customer, but there are certainly gems from time to time and you cant argue the price.Take a first date here to see if she/he is humble and fun. Youll know if they take themselves too seriously right away. But reward them by sneaking in some dark chocolate. Pollack has good prices for treats, but could improve them.

Great Theater, Snack Bar, Great Prices, Great Environment

The theater had great spots for taking photos. Superheroes, presidents, cartoons, pirates of carribean all are very awesome. Seats were not that much comfortable but the movie and sound quality was good. Really good place and affordable price to watch indian movies with good quality print. We watched the latest ayushman khurana starring dreamgirl. The movie was a full on entertainer with great back to back punchlines.

This theater is a blast. The low prices draw you in for the movies that you missed when they first came out, and the great service from the kids behind the counter and the amazing lobby add a level of fun. Dont come expecting a hushed, reverent crowd since there are usually families with kids. Do expect a good time. Grab a large popcorn so you can snag free refill. Tuesdays are even more affordable.

Delicious, fluffy popcorn! Sometime in the past several years, you must have changed your popcorn. I used to always pass on the popcorn at your theater, but a few months ago gave it another try. YUM! This place is literally the greatest place to have fun watching movies, they have statues and memorabilia from a bunch of films and a pretty amazing arcade where you can use up those pesky quarters. The Tickets are cheap and the snacks are pretty fantastic, overall Id say its probably the greatest movie theater of all time.

Clean,cool and friendly. The movies are older and the prices are low. The theater is clean and movies are crystal clear and the sound is perfect. If you can wait a few weeks after the release to see the movie, this is the perfect theater. Not to mention it only costs $3.50 ($2.50 on Tuesdays).

ALTERNATIVE ALERT!!!This is my favorite movie theater in the ENTIRE PHOENIX AREA!!! You will find films here for cheap because it is an old movie theater. You will also have all sorts of film festivals and things of the like that will meet at this place. It is a DESTINATION!

This is a great inexpensive 2nd run movie going experience. They have a great collection and wax figures and an a gaming arcade.

Excellent inexpensive theater showing relatively recent movies and with reasonable concession prices. Do note seating is the older style gently sloping seating, not stadium style but heads in the way of your movie arent a problem generally.Sound and visuals are good, its not Atmos but its better than what dollar theater would conjure in the minds of most people.Note: theater used to be cash only and I believe it still is. Out of habit I had cash on me so I forgot to check if they take cards now.

5 stars for the price! I mean, the theater has not been updated, but thats what a cheap theater is! My kids love the decor and I love being able to afford to take the whole family to a movie!

It was great to go to a movie and pay pricing from last century. Everything was very clean and not overly crowded.

Good Sound good seats, small screen but big enough. Prices for most stuff was less than big movie theaters. All in all a good deal.

Pollack Tempe cinemas has a Vibe all of its own, they have so many things to explore and look at the theaters are decent size they have two large theaters for the latest and greatest movies. Classic Wednesdays, for all Classic Movies come join us. They have a large gaming room can entertain the kiddos. Very good selection of food at a very good price. Popcorn here is amazing customer service is always on point, and at times you will see Michael Pollack himself walking around greeting people and making sure everything runs well. Always a great movie experience at this locally owned gem of a theater. Inexpensive tickets and concessions that are better than the chain theaters.

The place is ok. Remember, movies are 3.50. Caught the last movie. 1030. The concessions close at 11-1130. After paying g for a large soda, I was denied a refill 15 minutes past close. Only a half of a refill. The management was hell bent on REFUSING to fill it up. The nozzles were on the machine. It was looking locked. I refused to accept the fact they couldnt assist me. Ive been in the food business. The very idea that the manager didnt want to simply fill up a half empty soda caused me to insist. She did. But it was a hell of an effort. Remember, the employees are all minimum wage.

This place was a ton of fun. A welcome change of pace from the large chains. This place is huge on charm and nostalgia and fun for all movie fans.I spent some time after the show admiring the life-size replicas, movie posters, and record covers.In addition, the arcade is filled with 80s classic games like Street Fighter 2 and Mortal Kombat, Pacman and Galaga. It really provides a nice touch and is a fun time while waiting before or after your movie is over.The staff was very courteous and the restroom was clean. The admission tickets and concession stands were budget friendly.I would definitely recommend this theatre for all movie fans young and old alike. A great place to visit with friends and family for a fun time at the movies.

Always enjoy going to this place and it deserves a six star rating if Google had one just because of the whole experience you dont pay a lot you see a good movie in a decent theater, kind of older but well worth the money and the concession stands dont kill your wallet and the service is outstanding!

For $3.50 a ticket you cant go wrong. The concessions arent quite at big theatre prices yet either. Also, they have a pretty decent little old school arcade set up that is quite a bit of fun.

Watched Playing with Fire, it was hilarious. Tickets x 2, popcorn, candy, and 1 soda for under 20 bucks. Stayed after and played some video games. Had a great time.

Great bargain priced theater. Well cared for theater with low priced tickets, $3.50 most days and only $2.50 on Tuesdays. Seats are good and overall the place is clean and nicely cared for. Most places in this price range are not nice. Only down side is that it doesnt have the greatest sound isolation from theater to theater. You can hear some sounds from movies next door only during quieter parts of your movie.

As discount theaters go, this is my favorite of all time. The experience is in a way old fashion (think 1970s) and nostalgic in a way that makes the second run movies most appropriate. The two go together! The ambiance with the Hollywood photos and (wax like) statues, while not the highest quality, are fun to experience and reflect on. One of the best parts of the experience is seeing middle age (and older) couples holding hands with smiles on their faces. It is like they (we) are on a first date...40 years ago.Mr Pollack has got to be one of the good guys for creating a fun place. Thank you.
