This theatre is working hard on working and keeping everything sanitized and clean. The seats are far enough apart from each other, that I didnt have to worry about other people crowding me. Still good service, and good popcorn! This is my favorite AMC to go to. I will always come back to this one. :)
This is a nice little theater, but no food options (besides popcorn and nachos.) There was a parking garage and I paid 12 bucks for the 2 and half hours it took to watch a movie.. It was a nice little area, but I definitely will not be back to this location.
Not much done for social distancing. People can book seats next to you and around your seating. Whereas Harkins automatically blocks off two seats in-between you and other guests. Few signage around reminding you to wear a mask. Didnt feel as secure as it should. If you want pre-COVIDish feeling come to this AMC.
It was a little hot inside the theater and they had one of the movies that we came for not playing. It was my bday wkend.and my daughter and I made plans to see 2 movies, but the 2nd.one was taken off
The movie was great.....STAFF IS BLAH! How does a movie come out Friday and you dont have the Poster up? NOT COOL ITS ONLY MONDAY! This is a nice spot too, with a bar upstairs that I had no clue about. Wish the same support was EQUAL AS FAR AS ADVERTISEMENT, BUT HEY, THATS THE WORLD EE LIVE IN RIGHT
Horrible security guys are a JOKE. they’re so rude for no reason at all.The sound in the theatre was so damn loud it was starting to crackle. Didn’t think a theatre in Tempe would be so bad ! The cheddar popcorn i wanted to try was stale and looked painted. I had two pieces and left the rest. $10 just for that!!
I love this place, my family and I specifically book in this theatre because there are really nice reclining seats here!Booking can go fast because of the limited seats in each hall but only had to worry about that a couple times.Pre-movie trailer can be really long unfortunately. The last movie I saw started 20 minutes after the scheduled time. This can be good or bad based on how punctual you are I highly recommend this place!
Cool 2-story theater, perfect for the area. Right next to the hustle and bustle of Mill. Dont forget to take your parking ticket from the garage inside the theater to get validated. Fresh popcorn and reserved recliner seating. Escalator, elevator, and stairs available to get up to the 2nd floor. Alcohol available also. Ticket prices are less at this theater than other non-compact theaters.
Excellent location! In the heart of mill avenue with plentiful restaurants around. Its a discounted theatre so you get to watch movies $7 a pop. Tuesdays is $5. Not just that but all seats in this theatre are recliners and very clean most of the time. Get an AMC Stubs membership if you can and it should help in the future if you are a regular.
The theaters are sometimes small but this place is usually less busy, close to the parking garage, and they validate your parking. This is my go-to for early matinees flying solo. Love the reclining chairs and reserved seats.
Great seats. Very good sound system. Not usually crowded from my experience. No complaints. Routinely attend, and will continue to do so.
I was bringing my kids to go watch a movie and my kids were with me behaving and one of them had to fix their mask so they fix their mask and Britney comes over and tells me that we can’t take our mask off or we have to leave so I tell her that my son was just fixing it and she raises her voice and tells me to not harass her and that she will call the police if I don’t stop by the way I kindly said that my kid was fixing his mask when we walked away from her I could hear her mumble this is why I don’t like black people
Not bad ticket prices. The concession stand will gouge you though. The seats are nice too.
Ayo Nicole Woods, quit complaining bout nothin. Karen
Outstanding theater! Awesome location. Close to a ton of shops and dining options. The seats are the leather/reclining seats. Theater is very comfortable and well appointed. LOVE $5.00 Tuesdays and the option to reserve seats in advance. Be sure to get your parking validated. Great spot for date night.
This is a great discount theater, the employees are bery nice. At times the theaters still have some trash in them when you go in, the screens that are supposed to label the theaters are broken. The reclining seats are comfortable, you can also validate your parking.
This theater has a convenient location although theres a bit of a walk from the parking structure. I usually have a problem using my app here and was once told my account had been cancelled when it wasnt, most likely due to WiFi issues that day, so if you are collecting rewards via app, another location might be a better choice. Otherwise the theater is clean, the service is friendly and movies are clear and focused.
The parking in the area of the theater is impossible. We rode around 20 minutes. The public parking garage was full. The clerk at the theater says the theater will validate parking at the public parking garage. Impossible.
5 stars because of awesome seats. Lots of restaurants & bars within walking distance makes it a great place for date night.
This place is the best theater in the valley. $5 for a matinee before 4pm any day. Lay flat chairs and often empty. It is a great gem in Tempe
Food was good but the seats were covered in food from the previous showing. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired.
The theatre is really nice and it is also at the prime location in Tempe. The seats are adjustable and comfortable. Visual effects are remarkable. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because the sound is of good quality but its very low. Recently saw The Endgame there and experienced the same. I could not hear some of the dialogues in previously watched movies too.
I used to be a fan of this theater but after my experience last night it will no longer be my first choice. No one was available to check our tickets (which we had purchased online since we knew we would be arriving close to the movie showtime). Waited several minutes to be helped, before my fiance and I just gave up and walked in. We got in line at concessions with one person ahead of us who was currently ordering. I dont know what the situation was but the cashier and concession staff took forever to process the order. (Even though I observed staff just standing behind the counter, no one offered to help us). We gave up and headed inside the theater to get our seats. I realized the previews were still going on so after sitting for a few minutes I headed back downstairs to try ordering popcorn. YET AGAIN, there was only one person ahead of me but the whole ordering process took forever that I was finally just returned back to my seat without being helped. The movie was fine and the seats were comfortable... just disappointed in the staff and service.
Its a very nice theater that I visited about 3 years ago. If I recall correctly, this location has reclining chairs so you got the comfort factor in too as a plus.Once you arrive, you can simply get your tickets at the self-serve kiosk up front and then you can take a nice snazzy escalator to find your movie show room. Great place.Only issue is downtown parking. Be prepared to shell out extra money for a parking garage or metered street parking.
Super clean bathrooms, reclining seats & friendly staff! I wish it was closer to home because it would definitely be my first choice of theaters.
This review is for the manager MichealI was having an issue purchasing my tickets on the empty space for the wheelchair for the movie.Manager Micheal handled this situation with a respectful way and I really appreciate his way of understanding. He has provide us drink, popcorn and also a fresh fries for free.Thank you Micheal !
Other than projector that was having a bit of overheating issue, which delayed start of movie ten minutes, good theater. Good screens, great sound. Comfortable seats. Really good ticket prices!
Me and a friend come here all the time! I love the seating (recliners, with lots of leg room) and the screen size is great, (some theatres have smaller depending where you go). you can get a great view no matter where you sit!
Seats awesome. Parking good... Concession area too congested.
Second favorite AMC in the valley. Food is very expensive. Has large and comfortable reclining seats
If you have movie showtimes all the way until 11:00pm you need to not close your concession until then, I went to order chicken strips and fries before My movie even started around 10 but they had already shut down their kitchen. If you have customers you need to be open for as long as they are there. It’s an inconvenience, don’t shut down early just because you’re ready to go.
Favorite location. I drive from North Central Phoenix to this location. Comfy seats, helpful staff and great price.
Absolutely love this location. Great prices, student discounts and real comfort seating.
Cozy theater. Not sure if all the theater rooms in the building are like the one I went to, but there was only about 40 seats, with enough room to recline and not worry about the person next to taking your arm rest. Theres a bar upstairs and downstairs, the restrooms were clean, and it wasnt crowded at all.
Polite employees, drinks at the bar I can bring into my movie, and comfy, adjustable seats :)
Pretty much what youd expect from an AMC. Nothing incredible, but a decent theatre
Reserved seats, comfortable recliners. Right of Mill Ave. easy to get to plenty of parking near by.
Definitely not a fan of this location. The team members are less than friendly, and the ticket-taker even gave erroneous information and told us that we could order refreshments from our seats (incorrect). The interior is a bit drab and could use updating.
Love this theater you can refill your drink so each floor so you don’t have to go all the way back downstairs it was clean recliners were awesome and roomy it wasn’t packed but we did go Middle of the day I have the tickets on my phone it was literally a scan and go friendly staff ready to help bathroom with clean also great changing station for babies.
Good movie ((Zombieland Double Tap preview night), fair prices. Close to home. Will definitely be going back.
The seats are comfortable but theyre fairly flat and not stadium style.
Nice location but next time I have to bring my own popcorn and drinks. Popcorn and drinks are very expensive here
Clean, good food, comfortable recliners with double cup holders. Awesome...
Great place to watch a movie or few. On Tuesdays they have $5 special for AMC Stub members. You can even get a discount on candies. Plus I love the advance screenings offered here every once in a while. Plus the have 3 D movie theaters. Check it out if you are in Downtown Tempe, Arizona near Mill Ave. If you see the Chase building you are close.
Great theater but parking an issue. Theater had the nice big comfy retractable chairs. The staff was very friendly. We even got the great $5 matinee pricing! BUT the parking! $12 and the directions from the parking lot were poor. You would think for $12 they would at least have decent signage.
I typically will attend a matinee or a late night viewing and every time the lines are short and the theater is relatively empty. Its typically a great experience and the staff are always so kind. There is a bar on the second floor, if you need a little drink with your movie. And they have fully retractable chairs!
Its cozy but the seats are huge and they recline all the way back. Very comfortable with wide isles
Amazing place! This was my first visit with my daughters. The seating in the theatre was excellent. It was so relaxing as the seats recline. I only wished the movie was longer! The guys at the concession counter were nice and quick. Made for one great evening out. Thanks!
This location was more than I thought it would be. Customer service from every employee was great. The popcorn and candy were fresh. No lines... just a wonderful and great time.
Great theater. Has the drink and ice machines go down once in a while but other wise comfortable with comfortable seating
Theater #1 on 2nd floor. Doors bang loudly 1 to 3 times for every patrons entry and exit. This happened during entire movie. Annoying and distracting. Not to good for PTSD either. Standard experience otherwise.
My favorite little spot.. its low-key .. if you have to drive here park in the structure behind it and make sure to get your parking ticket punched on your way out (4 hrs free :)) anyways RECLINING SEATS!! Also if you end up upstairs theres a bar and a drink refill station for ya.
This is by far the best movie theatre in the area beyond smaller art theatres. Great seating and awesome layout to the space. They validate parking in the Chase Center Structure which truly saves the experience. That being said, I tried getting drinks here for the first time tonight and while generally the staff is great, the bartender was a little abrasive in his demeanor. The drinks werent cheap because nothing at the movies are but the service was less than stellar. Still this is my favorite place to see a movie.
Love the power recliners. I neither confirm nor deny having fallen asleep, because they are so comfortable. Online reserved seating. Highly recommend matinee times if you prefer smaller crowds. For those that dont have a preference, they are still quick anytime. The reserved online seating makes opening nights not an issue. Good concessions. Clean all around. Staff has always been great there.
Nice spacious theater with liquor. First one I been in with hard liquor Great sound effects
You could tell the people working there loved their job by how well they did it The theatre was spotless and the ladies room was the cleanest public bathroom Ive seen in a long time it didnt make me feel like I needed a couple of vaccination or a shower to peel your skin off after using like some places and the chairs comfortable easy to cuddle with my date while watching a great movie I know for sure when I see a movie again it will be here
Great atmosphere, nice seats, crummy food and booze.
Clean, and friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Recliner comfortable seats. Bar upstairs. (Didnt experience). We had to pay $12 for parking due to limited parking.
One of my favorite spots to sit back and relax & grab a Drink
Great place. Center armrests should have padding on the underside
Aside from the high prices for tickets and snacks, this is one of the better AMC theaters I have been to. The food tastes pretty good, it’s cleaner than a lot of other reviewers have said (including the bathrooms) and the seating is very relaxing. Great choice for families and students.
Easily my favorite movie theater in Tempe. Not only are the supremely comfortable, stadium style seats reservable, but I can bike to this theater from my house.
Nice theater. Clean, convenient and comfortable seats.
They have the best chairs out of all the theater chains. AMC is the only theater I choose to go to.
Love this cinema. The seating is very comfortable and weve never had to wait in line. Parking is free if you use the lot behing their building and get it validated inside.
Nice seat and cheap tickets all the time.
All the movies you would like to see for a very low price!!!
Comfortable seating, very well kept theaters. Full bar upstairs if a cocktail is your thing.
The staff at this theatre were super friendly and helpful. The parking behind the theatre was easy to access and I was happy they validated. The bathrooms deserved a little more attention.
Nice seats and good sound system. Restrooms can have more stalls.
Recliners and Mill Avenue vibes. The best part is the bar. This AMC has a very nice vibe to it as it is on Mill Avenue. After the movies you can go and enjoy in the clubs around.
The seats are so comfy. Recliners are a must for me now at theaters!
My favorite theater in Arizona. Broad selection of movies and good seats with comfortable recliners, parking next to it that you can validate if you watch a movie... just great.
This amc always has my row all to myself since i like the very first row . its always clean when I go and That Michael Manager got that place in tip shop shape .
So 1st time at this location, and man oh man disgusting!! The theater itself was hug nice chairs small screen. The bottom level where u walk in its so dinghy looking so dirty and unorganized. There was absolutely ZERO toliet paper in the womens restroom upstairs!! It was trashed like no one cleans or checks it. I like that the bar is upstairs away from the crowd getting snacks. I personal would not go back here for anything. Really disappointed with AMC Ive never been in any of their establishments where I felt so dirty. Maybe its because they are geared to the college kids or the employees just dont do their jobs, whatever the case it looks nicer from the outside.
Could be improved. The seats near the front arent as bad as bigger theaters though.
They have done some remodeling but awhile ago. You can select your seats but some of them are getting broken. Concession stand is small but works for the theaters size unless they are making a huge parties popcorn. Then the line takes long. They do have a bar but Im not sure of its hours. The clean bathrooms are always appreciated!
This is a really great place to see movies because when youre done you can just walk over to Mill Ave and get some ice cream and have some fun
Loved it. we went to go see Annabelle Comes Home and it was AWESOME. the sound makes the jumpscares even MORE SCARY. we got the whole theater to ourselves, me, my mom, and dad. the food was GREAT! I really reccomend it.
Wonderful atmosphere, comfortable and friendly staff!
Very small theater, but I found it better than the massive auditoriums Ive been in before. The seats were all recliners and were very comfortable and were in really good shape. Pretty clean, and the bathrooms were well maintained. The parking situation is really weird... I went on a holiday (New Years Day), so the parking lot was open and free. Normally, there is VERY limited metered street parking, or $2 for every 30 minutes (up to $12) in the garage behind the theater... I dont know if there is validation, but certainly something to keep in mind. Its in the midst of the ASU entertainment area, so there are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance of the theater. Just be careful while driving because the roads are very narrow, one lane, and have lots of people milling about.
Great experience watching Spider-Man: Far From Home! First time parking to go here and if you park in the Chase Bank Structure, bring your parking ticket and they’ll validate 4 hours of parking for you (free parking)!!
This theatre is the best in Tempe! Friendly staff and the place is full with good vibes! Highly recommended
Most experiences with AMC have been good, but this location seemed understaffed this morning. Also, it would appear that the closers didnt stock/prep for the morning shift, so we ended up missing 3/4 of the previews. Over all, the theater, and lobby was clean, but it does seem a bit tired, and worn. Staff was pleasant enough though. Might come back, or just go to another AMC, or other theater in general. Havent decided yet.
Theater is absolutely awesome. Comfortable seating, great concession set-up (upstairs and downstairs). Parking can be tough on mill but if you park in the Chase parking structure you can validate your ticket so you dont have to pay the extra. Its super easy they have a machine set up or you take it to guest services. The location is super clean and I have always had a great experience here. Highly recommend.
It’s one of the best cinemas in Tempe since it’s the newest one
Huge reclining chairs .. so comfy love it ! Popcorn sucked thou and was cold at 5pm
Cheapest Matinee in town $5 Love this theater. Reclining leather seats. Who gets reclining leather seats for $5
Usually its pretty good but today I went to see Star Wars and first they double sold the seats we had then during the movie the power went out . they did however give us free passes and popcorn and drink vouchers but I think we should have got free passes for double selling our seats
Fresh popcorn, movie was great, seats in theater need repair
Its a good theater... seats are comfortable and staff are friendly-ish. Always annoys me when kids and adults cant keep their mouths shut during a movie and unfortunately, Centerpoint is becoming one of those places during the day. Good overall though, especially for the price
Love this place!!! Great seating and shows w plenty of options and slightly more affordable than the rest of your nice theaters. We pass several theaters, even other AMC, on our way to this location cause its our favorite and affordable!
Nice, clean theater to take your girl to for a classic movie date night that never goes out of style.
Comfortable seats. Sometimes the screens are a bit dark in the smaller theaters. I ask them about it. thats where we put the older projectors and we arent allowed to turn up the brightness. Not kidding.
