Awesome park.. Used to be drive in movie theatre..has huge field and lots of frontage along the river....but full of homeless people and litter..nice park, sad condition

Not much to see. No historical information. A big park, but thats about it.

Is a quick stop to take pictures of the oldest historic sulphur spring water in Tampa.

Great location to create a great park, but nothing there. Only a huge old water tower and parking lot. Will be great to setup a soccer field in the area.

Sulpher Springs water tower, a famous landmark north of downtown Tampa.

No Shelters, Tables. But a nice place by the river.

But my date couldnt stop taking about his X, not a good move.(good-bye). Ill come solo because I like to swim.

Good landmark no you cant get in tower or go to top maybe if you grapple hook and rope is only way

I love this spot for my dogs and Purity Springs too right across Florida Ave. Nice but short boardwalk, big open field, old growth trees, veiw of the springs and river, garbage everywhere and a HUGE community of live in home bums. What a shame could be such a nice historic area its also walking distance from the historic theater on Nebraska ave.

The park has a nice historic tower. But the state should do something to this park for recreation.

Beautiful park. Had not been here in many many years. Some shady characters stumble through. I guess its a sign of the times.

Closed, can only walk around outside. Much of building is missing.

This is a beautiful area and could make a great picnic area. They need to clean it up and put a playground for kids and a safe fishing area. Drug users and drunks hang out a lot here. Its not safe

Cool landmark but it needs some paint or pressure washing. Hopefully the city will spruce it up a little.

Hey City of Tampa, paint your grubby old water tower!I climbed to the top when I was kid back in the 70s. It’s all boarded up now. They should do something better with the area around it. I miss the old tower drive in.

Nice place...when its opened take advantage because it is not publicly opened. I wish they would just let people go in and redevelop the inside. That would be a great tourist attraction.

Lived here 63 years and always liked the landmark Tower. Something needs be done to spruce it up. First thing it needs painting really bad. Put Tampa Florida on it and a large USA flag at the top.and lights at night. It should be a symbolic landmark that Tampa is straight ahead...

May or may not have snuck in at night. Super fun and creepy to explore around. Would love to visit again during the day.

I was afraid to take my daughter out of the car homeless people everywhere I can see why theres no benches so dont expect to have lunch unless you bring a towel to lay down and mace for protection

Great little park.

First we visited the museum and after that we drove to the other side where the pool is and there is a trail that takes you again underneath the expressway and to the water tower. We wished to have seen a paved or clear trail but there isnt. The place is great and historic but dont go alone. I will keep snd eye on its improvements . Support old tampa & Florida historical parks.
