Great family friendly place. With the pandemic, its one of the few places I feel comfortable taking my kids. Its outside, and easy to social distance.Very friendly staff. The annual family pass is a great deal.

Had a great time at the Fall Festival!! at $12 a person, with pony rides included, we will definitely be back next year. Fun and family friendly atmosphere, helpful and caring staff. food was well priced. Great way to spend a Saturday!!

What a wonderful get away! Perfect for both adults and kids. A wide selection of animals to look at, local ones too. Such a big place thats definitely worth going to over and over. Highly recommend! Oh and some wild peacocks walking around

I was referred to HorsePower by Fish and Wildlife. I had taken a weak abandoned baby squirrell to be rescused. I was VERY impressed by the place, the rescue animals and the simple lay out and room provided. The owner was VERY nice, helpfull in answering questions I had about the baby squirrel I found, and what to expect. He gave us a tour around and was amazed. I am thankful for Armando for doing what he does to help these animals and for his kind heart. I will be definitely referring him every way I can and will be making donations when possible. A big thumbs up!!! xoxo

Best hole in the wall petting zoo and sanctuary. Had a blast even though it rained when we went and we missed out on pony rides. Defiantly plan on going again.

HorsePower for Kids and Animals is a great place to take the family. Their fall festival is super engaging and fun for the kids. From the horse rides to the zip line to the train rides, or the playground, there is bound to be something there for any kid. So much fun! Cant wait to go back!

This place was absolutely wonderful for both parents and kids we spent a few hours there walking around doing the zip line the Train the pony rides were a hit with the little ones a great activity for the afternoon something different and close by

Opened till 5pm means they should let in even before 30 minutes . It is our money for ticket, it is us the one who needs to care if it lesser time spend or longer time . I thought it is open and I took my son To make him feel better as he had a bad day .we went there like 4.26 pm, so we can spend atleast 20 to 30 minutes . They din let us in and said office closed . They should be specific on google about their timingFinally We had a huge gift of my sons break down.Update as I could not reply to owners message1. I checked the website and it said it was open . Without checking website I never go to any place2. With my two years of membership with horse power we already saw all the Lovely pets and had fun there as much as we can . Some places are our get away spots to make my son feel better if he had a bad day.3. This is not the first time we visited 30 minutes earlier for closing . We always visit the farm during last one hour only but never ever stayed after 5 pm and I’m much conscious about not disturbing others work routine

Awesome!! Outdoor Fall Festival was spectacular!!! Had horseback rides, horses peacocks on a roof, 2 jumping houses, hay to climb on zip line, games, food, barn dancing with music, and much more that we did not see!! Such good fun for the family! If you are thinking of visiting give yourself at least 2 to 3 hrs! It will not dissappoint!!

Great experience and caring staff. The kids had a blast at a learning retreat and the animals were well cared for. The restroom is a spacious one with ac and tv room for young ones. They take donations and have some animals there for adoption and a very nice playground for the kids.

We had a great time, 3 boys 7-9 and two adults and we all enjoyed our day very much. Train rides, lots of animals, park, bounce houses, pony rides, punkin patch, face painting, music, dog show, and a few games. Just a great place to enjoy some family time fun.

This place is such a treasure. It has a small zoo,bird atrium, pony and train rides, kids park with tire swings and zipline. Great place for a birthday party with a pond view. They also offer trail rides on the larger horses ages 7 and up. They are not state funded and admission is only $10.00. They have a donation box where guest can contribute to helping them provide for the animals and remain open for all to enjoy.

Rented them for my sons 5th birthday party & it was awesome!! The kids loved it and the volunteers were so nice and polite. I would definitely recommend.

The volunteers who came to my house for our daughters first birthday party were amazing ♡we loved the pony Claire and the momma goat with baby goat♡I honestly wish I could remember the volunteers names cause they deserve recognition ! They sanitize the saddle before the kids rode, and were great with the kids. Thank you Horse power for making my one year olds birthday special in the middle of this crazy pandemic!

This non profit is an amazing place to support, they house a good mix of animals that you can see up close and their petting zoo is great for kids to experience close encounters without too many people in the way. The animals here are truly loved and cared for by their amazing staff of volunteers. They were very kind and patient with my little niece who wanted a pony ride but ended up too scared to try.

Great for kids and adults. Just make sure you have plenty of quarters if you want to feed the animals.

The kids and I love to go here and spend the day. They have horseback riding, pony rides, petting zoo, train rides, hay rides, a big playground. Theres always something new for the kids to learn. We always have a fabulous time!

Great spot to come with the kids. Every 1st Thursday they have entry for $5 with their online coupon. As you can tell my 3 year old had a blast! It was kept up well. The staff were super friendly. Thanks engineer

We love taking our young kids to Horsepower Farm. They are especially amazing with kids with special needs! There are lots of different animals to see, a playground, a small trainride, a zip line, a maze, picnic tables, and more. Its a great low key place to get the kids out and engaged in the world for a little while. Definitely recommend buying an annual pass too. Two visits pays for itself.

This place is SO much bigger than I ever expected! We went to the fall festival this weekend and had a blast!!! I love that most everything is included in the admission price. My girls were ecstatic to ride a horse twice and pet or hold so many others. Especially the guinea pigs, the goats, the bunnies and the ferrets. Roasting marshmallows was a special treat! We will be back for sure! I cant wait for my kids to be old enough to be able to volunteer. Thank you for taking such great care of your beautiful animals. They are all so friendly and obviously well Loved!

I highly recommend HorsePower for Kids. I have taken my three and a half year son twice in the past month and we always have a great time. I suggest going on the first Thursday of the month when admission is only $5 per person. Wonderful staff and a wide variety of animals. Pony rides, which are an additional $3, are well worth it and the memories they create will last a lifetime.

I can see how kids would enjoy this. As an adult, I just felt bad for all the animals. So many avians injured and in the smallest confinement. Theres plenty of land and we saw many volunteers. I just dont understand why theres a 2ft wide, 8ft tall cage holding multiple birds by the camel, then a 10ft wide 8ft tall for a single cockatiel at the front. From the front, it seems like the animals would be happier, but it gets worse as you continue to the back. There are cows with no pasture access, pigs with no water in their dry dirt plot, donkey and mini-horse in a tiny pen next to sheep who were all panting from heat with no direct fans. All as they look directly at a pond that could cool them down. They have slow indoor ceiling fans for the guests that really do nothing for the animals in the petting zoo area. It was just so sad. The quality of life wasnt there.There was also a young dairy cow in a pen near the camel with a tag in its ear. Toward the back of the complex, it looked like a mother cow, same colorings, in a smaller pen than the calf. Did they separate the mom an calf? The older one in back still had larger utters as if shes had a calf in the last couple years. It wasnt addressed on the signage, but seems coincidental.Id suggest getting fans for animals, better water supplies and additional space across the site. If youre going to take away the access to a breezy pasture, put up fans. If youre going to take away access to water to cool down in, put in a water feature. Also, there wasnt a clear path for guests, just a lot of things set up near each other. Clearly defining a route would help, aside from the street signs that had so many things and directions.

Great place! I don’t know why I can’t upload more photos but it’s really nice. Be prepared to spend at least 2 hours because toddler gets distracted and she wanted to play in the outdoor playground

This is a really nice enclosed property. They have tons of animals to check out, and are absolutely perfect for birthday parties. Theres a playground, a petting zoo, train rides, and more with a large variety of animals including wolves! My kids had a blast at this place, and yours will too. Dont forget to get hooked up with a pony ride!

I could post a ton of the photos I took, but I wont because you should really go and see the animals yourselves! :) There is an incredible variety of common and exotic animals here. Theres a petting area and a Guinea pig holding area! Some of the most notable animals are the capybara (they have the large kind and a smaller kind, wolf dogs, deer, lemurs, and much more! Its $10 per person to get in (all ages) and its so worth the money! The animals all have large cages and are clearly well cared for. There are sanitizing stations at almost all the cages, which is amazing! Theres also plenty of signs letting you know who bites and who spits. We went right when they opened and it was nice and cool. We had a wonderful time. We spent about 2 hours here, but when we go back during cooler weather, Im sure it could, and will, be longer.

My daughter attended critter and riding camp. She learned so much about horses and riding. I was impressed with what was taught in a week.

A cute place located in Oldsmar with a wide variety of animals and a little petting zoo with friendly goats, rabbits, pigs, and more. The entire place includes ponies that kids can ride, ferrets that you can hold, and interesting animals for kids to explore and learn about. Hosting a party here is not hard at all, and makes for a great farm experience for everyone.

My 2 year old had a blast looking at all the animals. It was bigger than expected, such a cool place to spend a couple hours.

The kids get a kick out of seeing and feeding some of the animals. Wear park clothes you probably will get dirty. Could be better as to some things looking a bit dated. Still in all the kids have fun

Amazing!! Couldnt believe something like this existed so close to home. The kids love walking around the lake or taking the little train seeing all the different animals and interacting with them up close and playing on their playground. Better than the zoo and each time we go back it seems theres something new or theyve made an improvement somewhere to make it more enjoyable. You cant find an attraction or educational experience anywhere around town for such an inexpensive cost. Wish they had a concession stand with hot dogs or pizza etc. but other than that, amazing! Awesome holiday events as well.

Lots of things to do and its all included in the admission price (except for drinks and food). Many different animals and the staff were all very nice! My four- and two-year olds had a great time! Plus, its a great cause to help raise funds for. Well be back next year!

Had a Great time. My kids really enjoyed themselves

The first time we went to horsepower was for the animal drive through and we loved it! I was so excited to take my son today but it was TERRIBLE! The mosquitos were so bad despite wearing bug spray. At one point my son had over 20 mosquitos swarming his face! Then the kids play are had hornets nests all over the playhouse! I went to the front to ask for a refund since we were not able to enjoy any animals and I was told no. When I told him my concerns about the hornets his response was “the play area isn’t supposed to be open” well it was and there were people playing on it when we arrived. We will not be going back and it’s unfortunate because we really would have loved to support a local business!

Loved it! So many alert animals!

A great place to interact with animals. Friendly and helpful staff. My little ones had such a fun time here. A train ride and pony rides are included with entrance, and there is a nice picnic and play area as well. This would be a great place for a party. The only caveat is the area has bugs, but they provided us with bug spray so it really was no issue during our trip.

Family fun for you and place for rescued wildlife to be safe so its a real win win for all. Please visit and support the work they do. Please note weekends are just plain busy so be patient, most everyone is a volunteer and they only want your experience to be a good one, so at the busy times be helpful too by being patient :) or go on a weekday or early morning when it isnt yet as crowded. The playground is shaded, the pony rides were perfect for first and second time riders and the walk through the wildlife reserve was extremely educational. Always a great experience! This is as up close and personal as you can get to the animals. Great place to spend a couple of hours outside and it’s Never overcrowded. Non profit organization that helps kids and rescues animals, how much more could you ask for?

Love this place. We got a membership so we can make many trips and not worry about weather and whether we get our moneys worth. Our twin 4 year olds love the zip line, feeding the sheep and goats and pony rides of course the most! But they overall love getting to see all the different animals they have and in a laid back atmosphere. Staff and volunteers are always very friendly and helpful. Definitely a must visit!

Anyone who helps rescued animals of all kinds is aces in my book. Also its nonprofit, all monies pulled in goes to feed and care for the rescued animals. They also have more than a dozen loving kind-hearted people that volunteer their time to help feed, clean and care for all of these rescued animals
