I dont own a dog so I cant really comment too much on the dog park other than to say it looks really inviting and well-kept and people seem to really enjoy it. I go there for the walk along the canal each day. There are two benches along the sidewalk but there should be at least two more and they are usually occupied. But I very much enjoy seeing the owls and iguanas and anhingas and turkey vultures.

This is a vary good park for small and medium and large dogs and I have been at this park with my dog and only had one deal go down and I steped in at the time becouse some people think its ok for their dog to attack other dogs with no consideration to others and their pets so vary few people dont have knowlage on how to maintain or train their pets to obey an owner all the time and I feel bad for those one that dont know how to be a leader instead of a follower of their pet but I will say this is a vary nice park for your pet to go to enjoy the day and for you to clear your mind and enjoy too

Really nice dog park. Maintained well on a daily basis. Lots of green grass and dogs have a lot of room to run in both the small and large areas. I wish it was lit up so we could stay later at night. Usual complaints regarding other owners... their dogs trying to hump my dogs and them not intervening to stop it... or, not paying attention to picking up after their dogs. But the park itself, is great.

This is was first time here and it was great. There is a park for the small dogs and one for the big ones.

Its an ok park, it would be nice to have more covered areas, but more than anything, more trees and shrubs as a buffer would be great since its inches away from Southgate boulevard.

Love this place! The 25 lbs and under is awesome for my poodle who loves to run. There is so much space! I only gave 4 stars because of the lack of shade.
