We booked this trip for a couple first timers as well as ourselves. We have been on a few tours with other companies but this was by far our favorite! Captain Bill is well traveled, has loads of Everglades knowledge, is very safety conscious and delivers a great tour. We are already considering booking trips every 8 to 12 weeks so we can observe the ever changing Everglades. We are also considering a bow hunting trip and a stay at the fish camp. We will not be strangers.

Our first time in the Everglades and Capt Bill did not disappoint. His passion for his craft and knowledge of the area was an enormous bonus. This adventure was worth every penny! A must if you truly want to experience the Everglades and all it has to offer! Excellent communication from the moment we booked to follow up after. We’ll be back to use his services in the future.

On Nov. 15, 2020, we took our two sons on a private jet boat tour with Capt Bill. The water was very high in the glades; however, Capt Bill found plenty of things to point out. He did a great job keeping everyone involved and interested during the tour. The launch site had to be changed and Capt Bill provide excellent directions and kept us up-to-date on where we would meet. All in all, great way to spend a few hours in the Glades.

Great time and great views. We had the pleasure to ride with Captain Bill and it was one of the best times my wife and I had. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. Sunset was very beautiful that it made me propose to my wife again. Thats how much of a great time I had! WOW! What an awesome time we had with Captain Bill. He grew up in that area so he knows where to take you to see wildlife. We saw 5 gators, all sorts of beautiful birds, turtles and a small plane that had crashed there many years ago. Four of us spent two hours on a glorious day with Captain Bill. We saw many wood stork, roseate spoonbills, coots, ducks, marsh hawks, black and white ibis, greater and lesser egrets, greater and lesser blue herons and many other birds.. and many sunning alligators. He’s a masterful boat handler and knows the flora and fauna of the Everglades. Very educational trip. Highly recommended.

His boat is pristine. Family friendly environment and lots of education mixed with fun. He is an excellent tour guide and captain. We had a blast with two kids 4 and 6. This was the most amazing trip the owner was so polite Bill met us at the dock secured our personal possessions, encourage us to use our phones to take pictures and took us on the tour of a lifetime over the Everglades looking for Alligators. Then at certain places he would stop and give us the history behind the Everglades, the various types of alligators, and the different species of birds that we might see.If this is something on your bucket list don’t delay book it it was fabulous.

We went on a sunset tour with Captain Bill, and had an incredible time! We had gone on an airboat tour previously in the New Orleans area and Captain’s Bills tour was far better. We were all adults but it was a great atmosphere for people of all ages! Will be recommending it to anyone we know visiting the area!

My family went on the Sunset airboat ride. We had a GREAT time! We have been airboating before but this was our first time with Captain Bill and Liam (Captain Bill’s son- “eagle eye”). This was by far the best experience we have had airboating in the Everglades. We saw about 10-12 gators - up close. We learned so much about the Everglades and it’s habitat. It was peaceful, educational, and exciting. We highly recommend Cypress Outdoor Adventures.

We just had an amazing couple of hours on Captain Bill’s boat. Flying around the Everglades on an airboat is exhilarating in itself. But Captain Bill went out of his way to get us our first look at real gators (we recently moved to FL). On our way home, my wife and our 8-year-old son couldn’t stop raving about this unique adventure I surprised the with. Our son made us promise to set up a new adventure for his birthday... “and only with Captain Bill.” Looking forward to the next!

To begin with, Capt. Bill is awesome. I always wanted to take my family on one of these tours. We tried calling Capt. Bill in August of 2017. Unfortunately for us, he was packing up his boat to head to Houston to help with the horrible floods they had. It was very telling of what type of person he is that he put business aside to help others. After speaking with him, I knew he was the tour we had to take. We waited till this summer to take a tour. We were not dissapointed.I booked a sunset tour for my family (wife, 2 daughters, and myself).Arrived at the dock area and everything was set for us. Once we got out on the water, Capt. Bill gave us a lot of info about the Everglades and how things work there. He told us about different types of wildlife. Then all of the sudden, he stopped. He told us where to look and sure enough, there was a 6 ft. alligator slowly swimming around. Then we moved onto another location and we saw a 10 ft alligator, if not bigger. I have no idea how he kept finding them, but he did. I would say we saw at least 6 alligators. One of them just sitting on top of the water (picture attached). We even found a caterpillar (picture attached) and baby frog on the boat that came along for the ride.We were having so much fun, we lost track of time and noticed it was starting to get dark. Speeding thru the swamp in the dark was just as fun as finding the alligators (picture attached). If there was any downside, it would be that the sky was overcast, so unfortunately we were not able to see a beautiful sunset. Cant blame Capt. Bill for that, only Mother Nature.Overall we had an amazing time. Well definitely do another tour with Capt. Bill the next time were down in Florida. His knowledge and professionalism cant be beat. I will reccomend his tours to anyone I know heading to Florida. Thanks again Capt. Bill. Or as my wife kept calling you, Capt. Bob Ha!

Gerold gave us an amazing tour of the Everglades, tons of great info and a tour of his Old Glory camp! So knowledgeable and just an amazing gentlemen. We spotted several gators, many gorgeous birds, turtles, and plant life. Our kids are 11 and 14 (read as moody & picky) and they had an absolute blast! We spent some time researching different airboat tour options--group vs. private, one-hour vs. two-hour, different launch locations, etc.--and decided to go for the full experience: a two-hour private tour. What an amazing morning!! We were up and early- but worth every minute of the morning. Bill followed up on our booking right away and provided the best directions. Thanked us for booking and confirmed everything. This tour is two hours of you, your friends and family and nature! We booked because we wanted all airboat and no gator wrestling or show. What a great decision!! Bill took us out and within 20 feet was a gator! I’m not sure how many we saw- but it had to be more than 20! Birds are galore, as well and we even saw a heron nest with baby birds. The best part of the day was the mating call of a male gator on a marsh looking for love. A real and rare treat - and super cool. Bill is an amazing host- plenty of water and we learned so much history and about the Everglades. Thanks for an amazing day. Booked this private air boat tour directly with Captain Bill for right after we returned from a Panama Canal Cruise. Captain Bill scheduled the tour with a flexible start time to meet our schedule. Upon our arrival Captain Bill introduced himself and from that point on it was a Very Very Incredible Tour. We couldnt be happier with our Everglades airboat ride that we took with Captain Bill this morning. He is knowledgeable, funny, and clearly has a love and passion for what he does. We are so pleased that we went with a family-run business private tour. Dont forget to bring water and sunglasses and youll probably want a hat too! Mosquitoes/no-see-ums are seasonal, but bring your bug spray just in case! Cant say enough good things about our quality time spent in the Everglades. Been on a tour today with my husband and stepson who arrived from Germany.WOW. How can you describe such a wonderful tour with captain Bill when a dictionary doesnt contain all these words needed? If there was a rating 1-10, he would deserve a 12!A fab Guy, wonderful person, so experienced and always keeping focus on safety. The tour was unbelievable. The nature, the unbelievable Space. We have seen gators, turtles, birds and had many moments of WOW effects. He had great stories and explained so many things we didnt know.My husband was super happy with the two booked hours! I have gone on a few tours over the past couple of years by different companies and was always left with the feeling that they were lacking in some form or another.That was up until met captain bill. This was a truely awesome experience.personal, professional and above all else safe. As far as the other reviews against the weather... I mean its south Florida and heat is to be expected. I dont expect capt bill to control that.If you want a true glades experience I highly suggest this company.
