Great Everglades views especially at Sunset which is quite popular so get there early for parking! I also have worked out on the trail but can get buggy in summer season since it is the Everglades. A bit of the Real Florida with wide open spaces.

Gorgeous trails. Birds of all kinds and quiet. Theres a parking that gets pretty full but you can park in the roundabout. After you get out, it honestly doesnt look like much, but once you climb up the hill the Everglades just cover the whole horizon. The trails themselves are very long, I know one goes all the way to Markham Park!

Nothing beats a romantic walk for two while taking in the Sunset. Those fishing, flying drones and playing the guitar with a group of friends may disagree, but we love going there at the end of a busy day.

So quiet, except for the birds! The dock in the picture was just off an unmarked trail on Birdon Rd, at about 3.4 miles north of the highway. A tenth of a mile past a white mailbox on the right, theres a driveway - with a couch, unless someone has removed it! The trail is straight ahead, perpendicular to Birdon. Not easy to see, but well worth the walk!

I love Alligator Alley. Cute stop and you never know what you will see when you stop! If you have a few minutes or a couple hours, definetly worth a stop at any of the pull offs!

This was the most amazing place to ride a bicycle with the entire family. We had such an amazing views of birds, turtles and even saw some alligators. Everyone who passed us checked on us. We plan to return again soon.

One of the best experiences of my life. An airboat ride through the Everglades is something everyone should do but to make it good needs a good captain. We booked a two hour environmental and historical tour with an experienced captain through West Palm Beach Airboats and Capt Wayne Gilbert, Jr. made the tour great. He knew where to go and knew the Everglades flora, fauna, and history. How you know without a map for as far as we went needs a good guide. We were on a small boat that holds eight or so, so the ride was intimate and everything appeared close. We saw alligators, birds and herons, old hunting camps, and a drug running plane that crashed in 1994. Nice sunny day. Boat can be noisy but headphones are provided. We had a four year old with us and she stayed interested so what we were seeing held her interest. There were a few stops (stayed on the boat) where the boat was shut down and we could talk and ask about what we were seeing and the eco-history of the glades. Too bad it was only two hours. I got a lot of good pics and want to go back to do just a photo tour day.

If you ever get the chance to take an airboat tour its well worth the experience!! Its humbling to be out in the glades and see it extending for miles in every direction, learning that its all rain water sloooowly running its way towards the ocean. I never knew its actually where much of Floridas drinking water comes from. And lets not forget the facinating wildlife!

Great place to workout and enjoy the plain fields, the wind, the waters, every bit of it.you can run a marathon, ride bikes or even have picnic (without interfering others since it is road).

Nobody here, great place for peace and quiet. Theres some good wildlife out here too

What a great walk! 3 miles in 45 minutes until the first pumping station. Be careful with the deer flies. They bite!Repellent doesnt work just walk or bike fast!!

This is a good place for sports where people fish, ride a bike, jog and walk. Plenty of space for those seeking solitude. I recommend this place.

You get a tremendous view of the big empty Everglades. Theres basically nothing but grass as far as you can see for like 3 directions. Saw lots of birds and some alligators. The clouds are awesome

Great view for the sun down, perfect to take some pictures or do activities like running or bike. The trail is long and flat not to bumpy and depend of the season remember to bring repellent but always bring your sun protector and water because this is FL.

If you plan on doing Air Boat rides and also the Show, get early so you have time to enjoy it. The peacocks were cool to see. Decent layout of the place.

Love going to this preserve! You can walk with your dog(on leash of course), bike if you want, or just sit and watch the sunset. Truly a great place to go and possibly see some wild life.

Fun place to bike if you want to get away from the asphalt. The levee trail is gravel/sand and takes you through nature. On some sections, you can look for miles around and not see any sign of civilization.

Not sure if this is on Google or the company, but the directions took me directly to the BBT center and when I got here I called the number listed here and it said it was closed on Saturday, but this thing here says it has activity Saturdays.

It is a beautiful site very early in the morning. The bike trail runs alongside the landscape and you get to see alot if beautiful birds

Beautiful drive up State Road 27 north. Driving through the eastern edge of the Everglades is quiet and peaceful. We were headed into a bad section of approaching rain. Drove through it and out again into sunshine. Typical Florida. In Palm Beach starts the sugar cane fields and sod fields. A lovely day trip.

It was a nice place to see native animals to the Everglades in both captivity, due to needing rescue, and actually in there natural habitat.

Im a floriate native and have been going to the Everglades since I was a kid. this place is pretty great. cheaper than evergladea holiday park. airboat ride was short but that could just be my guide. they sell cheap beer in the park and you can hold a baby alligator in the park for free.

Great place to stroll, bicycle, walk, enjoy wild life. Beware of the alligators and poisenous snakes. Though Ive not seen any, it is a vast Baron area with water and water weeds area, small trees here and there, no benches any where to sit relax. People do fish in canal and wild birds abound.Beautiful, relaxing, quiet. You walk on a raised dirt road. I did see a truck driving through with workers to help maintain area.Disappointing was how terribly inconsiderate for the area by throwing soda bottles, cups, some other garbage in canals.Otherwise great place to visit all fenced in with a gate for entrance walking only car gate locked and only for employees. There is a parking lot for your car.

Everytime is a pleasure to go to the everglades. Amazing place.

Accessible 24 hours A-day. Has treasure septa cals. Bike trails are evident. No bathrooms. And signage needs to be updated. Snakes are venomous, not poisonous.

This is a great place to just sit relax and take in the scenery, take a little hike or watch the sunset with your loved ones. I also see people riding bikes on this trail going both ways. I simply love it.

If the swamp is your thing you wont be disappointed. Its what Florida was before all the development. Plenty to see and do
