Very lovely place. Eclectic, picturesque and peaceful. Nice spot to capture lifetime memories like prom or wedding and also has place to meet your BFF for a coffee. I plan to visit again.

This park and the surrounding refurbished turn-of-the-century factory buildings are absolutely beautiful! This would be a great place during COVID to meet friends or any time to have a picnic!

I like to go there and imagine what the place was like during the manufacturing heyday. Coal soot, lunch pails, and shuffling proletariat...now predominantly a gentrified place for hipsters to raise their dogs.

One of the nicest areas of the city. Plan on competing with wedding shoots and prom shoots in their respective seasons on the weekends. Theres a very small piece of paper on the edge of the park that will tell you when its rented out.Nice place to relax and read a book or just hang out. Safe area, coffee shop right across the street, and plenty of seating.

The views are harmonious. I go here to walk once every two weeks to remind me of the visual beauty Syracuse has... The walks helps clear my mind and get my mind off all the violence arising. Very active area with people as well as animals. Its like not being in Syracuse.

Would have been nicer if we werent asked to leave about 10 minutes of being there because some guy was setting up for a photo shoot and closing the park at 11. As we were taking pictures as well. Its a park not a private park.

Franklin Square Park has grown up so fast. Now we have a climbing gym, a Freedom of Espresso coffee shop and a Spaghetti Factory. I have yet to make it over to Burnt Acorn Brewing nearby or the Preserve, but the two fun spots for beer and community await so close to Franklins statue. Plenty of raw industrial buildings to reclaim for mixed use retail & housing. Maybe theyll finally naturalize Onondaga Creek or finish the round the lake bike trail without upsetting the Eagles of Murphys Island? Steps away and over a safe highway bridge, Little Italy awaits.

The square has a carousel, rebuilt fountain and a pitch and putt course which includes replicas of Pennsylvanian historic buildings.When I visited the square was ablaze with colour, lanterns, butterflies and pigs to celebrate the Chinese lantern festival. There was lots to look at.the Chinese additions had transformed the square, making it difficult for visitors to get a true picture of the square.who knows what locals thought.

The scenery here is so nice, calm, tranquil, serene, peaceful, its even therapeutic in my opinion. I love this place.

Cute like sit down park a beautiful water fountain sit center stage at the park making it a great picnic spot.

Small park but an eye-candy. I visited there for some friends and we stayed there for quite a while talking. The fountain is perfect for some Sunday-afternoon pictures with family and friends. There are plenty of stores nearby too to grab a bite and enjoy it in the park.

Great to take youre graduates for pre-prom pictures. The fountain there is legendary!

Very nicely restored picturesque part of the city. We did my daughters wedding photos there, with the fountain as a backdrop. Also lots of trees there too, very calm and restful.

This is a really nice park! The beautiful statue of Benjamin Franklin sits front and center, but its the gardens, roofed area, and open space that look really great. This is also a fantastic spot for photos because there are several angles that look superb.

We had a beautiful day for senior ball pictures.

Pretty little park. Avoid it during prom season though because it gets crazy busy around proms.

We went here to take Senior Ball pictures of our daughter. Between the water fountain and the stonework there are many spots to get great pictures.It will be crowded from time to time with others who are doing the same thing. However there is usually plenty of space for everyone.

As the full moon peeks out through the passing clouds, the bronze statue of Ben looking down across the neatly kept grass, you will feel his timeless gaze follow you. Then as you cross the damp grass the tingle will flow down youre spine; in the distance a dog barks. Recollections of fourth grade history class dismissively pass through your memory, is a storm approaching? You unknowingly glance upwards to the clouds for ol Bens kite. Your steps quicken. Your eyes glace to the ground, noticing how clean this quaint Square is.

Everything her is expensive, old minced meat factory, defiled antique water tower, saw a police chase end there a couple weeks ago, homeless sleep in the park. Great place to walk around at night lol.
