We had a great time at the MOST! There were so many interactive exhibits that were fun for both my 1 year old and my 8 year old. They place was clean and well cared for. All of the staff we interacted with were great, the man doing the planetarium did a great job making it fun and interesting. They also had a nice clean seating area to eat in and a wonderful family area for nursing mothers, that had rocking armchairs, toys for the older siblings and a changing table. The only thing Id love to see is hand sanitizer dispensers as there were unfortunately many sick child, for families like ours with a preemie and chronic illness, these germs are quite a concern. Over all it was a wonderful experience and a great day! Looking forward to coming back again!

This is the first time Ive been here since I was still a kid, and it was still so much fun. Im very big on science and learning, so going here with my child now and experiencing this with her is so rewarding. They have tons of really fun exhibits and plenty of things for the kids to do. Most of their exhibits perfectly combine fun with learning, so the kids have a great time. Absolutely be sure to visit the planetarium as well. Its so cool looking up at the stars and planets in a dark room. Would absolutely love to go again soon! Id recommend going with a small group, maybe just parents and kids, so everyone can have a good time and not feel rushed or have anyone sad they didnt get to do something.

Absolutely fun place for adults and kids. We had a great time and spent the better part of the morning and afternoon there. Interactive displays and lots of hands on things for the children to try out and learn. The exhibit around the human body, its organs and the giant size heart and nose is really fun. The planetarium is fun as well; the narration is not recorded but done by a member of the museum staff. We went on Sunday and the cafe was closed. Otherwise definitely worth a visit! Its located in a nice area too, in the heart of downtown.

This museum is the best kept secret in Syracuse. Everything from animated dinosaurs, a giant brain, trains, toothpick buildings and the best part a nice size Indoor climbing maze with ball pit and slides. My 18 month grandson loved it. They have step stools for the little ones.I also loved that they werent trying to sell you anything around every corner. The price is very reasonable. Great place on a cold snowy day

A fun science museum! Some of the stuff in the energy spacer were broken which was disappointing. Loved the dinosaurs, very cool to see. Some drawbacks: There is no place to buy food beyond a vending machine and the museum itself does not have a parking lot. The website suggests parking in the lot behind the museum but there is no rear entrance and the sidewalks were not shoveled. We parked in a lot across the street 3+ hours 8$.Also to note there are no hand sanitizer stations in the museum. Not a drawback just a mention. For sure a place to return to and continue to explore.

It is very easy to loose track of time and spend an entire day learning and playing!Expect to see different and incredible exhibits at different times of the year. From trains to space and our favorate, Dinosaurs, they all deliver on excitement! When your ready for a break, let the kids go play in the giant play structure that is free with admission. Its also definitely worth it to get a ticket to the IMAX while you are there too. This is a museum where you learn by doing. They have some really fun interactive exhibits. My favorite may be jumping on the trampoline, which made you feel weightless (Gravity Jumper). We came with our kids for a school trip. It was pur first visit and the kids loved it! Lots to do, and very hands on, which is great for our 5 and 3 year olds. The second floor was a little hard to figure out to get to, but it had a bunch of flight exhibits and info on power sources so well worth it. I went to the Most as a kid on field trips and always had a blast. The Most is designed for school aged children with few things for toddlers/young kids to do. The one thing my two-year-old enjoyed was the dinosaur display, though we could have done without the feasting of the small dinos on the big one :) We also liked the indoor jungle gym but many of the other exhibits were down or too grown up for our kiddo. Well revisit in a few years.

Very cool and educational exhibits. Mostly interactive. Great for younger kids upto 10 or even 12. The play house is exceptional. Your kids can easily spend an hour or two just in the play house. Do that last. There was only one mens restroom with two stalls. One was closed for repairs. For the number of people and kids who visit this museum and the amount of time they spend here, there should be more. That is the only reason for the four stars only. Everything else is five stars.

While we were visiting family we stopped at this museum and found that with our local museum pass we received free reciprocal entry into this museum as well. There were plenty of activities for everyone. We went 2 days in a row due to cold rainy weather. They had a UPS truck on the main floor that my son loved checking out (looked like it was a temporary exhibit). My son (2 years old) loved the air ball shoot in the toddler area. We even ventured up in the climbing area and took the skid down. We’ll be back for sure during our next visit.

So many hands-on activities. I came here with my two friends from out of town and we had a blast. It was cool to learn about local geology, energy, and wildlife. The building has many little books and crannies to explore, and is totally kid-friendly, too. There was a new Hubble telescope exhibit that was so interesting. I would have given 5 stars, however, a couple of the exhibits had pieces and parts that were broken, and with so many stairs and levels, people that have difficulty walking may not be able to get around to everything

The museum had a lot of interactive exhibits that I might not have thought would fall into the category of science and technology, but as we explored, I could see how they do. I really liked the wind and water power exhibits that challenged me to use manual power to see how the water and wind could generate power. Also, the space area was really neat and fun. My daughter enjoyed the opportunity to practice being a pilot. The IMAX theater is WORTH THE TRIP!! It was INCREDIBLE to see so many creatures up close in the Amazon movie. The story was informative and the video detail was amazing! It is something that everyone needs to experience. I think that this museum can be explored in one day, but that children will enjoy spending more time in some areas than others that could leave families spending more than 1 day there to really interact with everything. Another favorite was the toothpick model display. Wow!

For the price, I would expect the displays to be in working order...I lost count of the number of displays either missing items or not working when you push the button.
