Great place for family fun. The prices are great, although you have to pay even if you dont skate. Beautiful setting with three tree lit up, looked like a Hallmark movie. Parking is a bit difficult sometimes. Decent prices on concessions.

A fabulous Plaza in the center of the city. Perfect for all the festivals, like the New York State Blues Festival, that occur there.

Had a absolutely great experience here with my family! Employees were helpful and attentive. They made sure to enforce rules, but were very kind about doing it. Great setting, look forward to coming back!

Great atmosphere and Amazing staff! The staff were very helpful with my two young children and also were very strict against horseplay on the ice. The staff really kept my kids safe! My only complaint is the Silver Ford Explorer (the one with the snow tires) was in the cross walk and I struggled to get my two children across the street. Other than that it was a great experience!

Very fair pricing! For 2 skaters plus skate rentals it costed $12. It is a very fun and cheap date night! I havent been here in years and it was great! There were a lot of people there but did not feel overcrowded. It did not seem like you were skating on top of others. The Christmas tree was beautiful too! It was a great night.

Its a sweet spot, for visitors and locals alike. Non-skaters can sit by the rink or inside where its warm; beginners can use the walker-contraptions for extra support; experts can zip around and impress everyone. Its a conveniently located little oasis for fun on a winters night. Some things that could be improved would be: the ice quality (it gets beat up quickly), and the quality of the rental skates (many are extremely sad). However, its probably par for the course, since its a municipal operation, and very inexpensive.

Love it here! Never got super busy when I went so it was really nice and inexpensive. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cheap but fun wintertime activity.

Really good experience. I bought a rental pair of skates for $3 and admission for $3, as well. When I was about to leave with my skates on, a man wearing a security vest came over and told me I had it on wrong. He then helped my family with any of our issues. Thanks again Clinton Square!

I love this place. Have been going to this particular rink for at least 6 seasons. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Weather permitting, the ice conditions are usually great for all types of skaters. Lockers are provided for temporary storage as well as Wi-fi, clean bathrooms, nachos and cheese, hot chocolate, Hoffman hot dogs. Great for everyone.

When to Syracuse Clinton Square for Blues Fest and had great time and free Parking. Free admission and seen Steven Van Zandt and which was incredible

Cheaper to skate during the week when school is in session! Great facility and a joy to experience a new activity. I have come here alone and with friends and have enjoyed all sessions.

There are numerous beautiful buildings of the old-style architecture around the square as well. It makes you feel a little as though you are in Europe. I highly recommend a visit, as well as to the Erie Canal Museum which is only a block away.

Ice wasnt to bad. When I went it wasnt that crowded. They provide rental skates for people who dont have skates, admission is 3 dollars.

The Clinton Square ice rink is a great place for fun in the winter time. However Clinton square is a great summer venue as well. There are many ethnic and music festivals that are held at this location every year.

Ive always went here with my family as a kid, and after 10 years its still as amazing as it was! The staff are so nice and the rink is so fun to skate around!

Was there for Irish Festival. The stage was in a great location. Great bands. Could have had more places to buy items.

We were for the Polish Festival. We had some great Polish food and watched some accomplished folk dancing. I also had a very good Polish beer. Very affordable and fun.

I was visiting syracuse for a few weeks just to promete a free Broadway level music we were having. The musical is called christmas cantata, but through the busy-ness of preperatuon the people in charge of us let us recieve grace to go out and have fun. Never thought a city as dead as syracuse would have something as nice as this.

Kids and I had a great time. They have things there that are like walkers for those that cant skate well. Helps kids confidence. Not a bad place to spend some time with the family. They have rental skates there, too. Just wish there was better parking.

Despite the small size, the ice rink at Clinton Square is a MUST for night time, outdoor winter activities. Pretty cheap fees and great staff. My wife and I come here every winter and its always a fun time. Very pretty location, especially with the holiday decorations, and if youre lucky enough to skate while its lightly snowing, youll have a great time!

Back in the days when I was a kid I loved it but nowadays it just gets crowded and some people just go there to smoke weed or Spike and get high while trying to hide it from the police. So it went down hill a bit

As a total newbie in ice skating, this rink motivated me enough to enroll ice skating classes! The good thing about this rink is its seasonal offers (like Christmas) by which you can rent a skate as cheap as 2 dollars (or 4, I have seen both). If you have your own skates, you can use the rink for free. You see many people there and some really pro skaters that inspire to enroll classes lol. The one and only drawback of this rink, which I realized after starting my classes, is the quality of the skates. It was unbearable to keep moving on my feet after 30 min of skating in those shoes. I totally recommend you bringing your own shoes. There are also lockers there that you can rent but I never used them. People are respectful towards ones property there, so no worry.

I LOVE this SKATING RINK!! It reminds me of the one in MANHATTAN, NYC!! They rent ice skates for a affordable price If you dont have your own states!! They rent HOCKEY and FIGURE skates!! IN SYRACUSE, NY its doesnt get any more CITY than this!

Clinton square ice rink is my favorite place to go at the end of November. It has a wheelchair accessible entrance, indoor place with heat, skate rental, and snack bar + restroom and somewhat of an information desk, it has indoor benches and small coin lockers for smaller belongings, it has outdoor tables by the door of the skate rental place and by the entrance of the ice rink, the ice is nice once you get on after it dries a bit, throughout the time that public skate is going on they will cut the ice every few hours depending on how bad it gets, skate rentals are $3 for 12 and up I believe and admission is $3 as well I’m not sure of what the senior discount is but it is 55 and up also if you have your own skates you can definitely bring yours and pay the $3 admission only, the rink is open Sunday-Saturday I believe Saturday is 11:00am-8:30pm but I’m not sure about anything like that only on normal days it’s open 11-8 see the schedule for extra details

I love ice skating here around Christmas time. With the big Christmas tree all lit up, the music playing from the local radio station, and hot chocolate and goodies from the cafe makes this a family-friendly get together or get away.

Baconfest was held here, nice venue for it but disappointed there was foodies running out of bacon at 2pm, and not everyone had bacon on the menu.
