Sunnycrest Park is a multi purpose city park located adjacent to Henninger High School in the city of Syracuse. The school sports teams have first priority over the athletic fields. The football stadium includes an Olympic 400 meter track which is covered by a rubberized surface (resurfaced about 2 years ago). Public access to the track is allowed when no school or other event is in progress. There are 3 or 4 tennis courts and some basketball courts. There is also a small playground. What makes the park really special is the 9 hole chip and putt golf course managed by the city parks department. I dont know how it has been affected by the pandemic but it is a lot of fun to play. Get access to the golf course better from Caleb Avenue. Last but not least is the ice skating rink which is the home of all sorts of skating related events from late fall to early spring and occasional non skating summer social events (prepandemic).
